Date of Stay: November, 2008

The Doubletree was very relaxed. The mattress was sooo comfortable! The staff was friendly and professional. The location was close to South Augusta and Evans, making it easy to travel to see all of my kin at Thanksgiving. I noticed early the morning after I had checked in the night before that the toilet was running constantly. I called the front desk, and within five minutes maintenance was there, checking it out and replaced a part. I highly recommend this hotel.

Extremely clean, friendly staff and modern dcor. Room service food awful. I would highly recommend this hotel for the ambiance and friendly staff. The children had an indoor and outdoor pool in which to play as well as a hot tub for adults all very clean I would not recommend the food, the price is right but the quality is missing.

Nice TV and comfy king bed. Complimentary breakfast would be nice. lg. inviting lobby, big rooms with comfy beds, clean rooms, conveniently located. Would stay here again and would like to dine there., maybe for the chocolate brunch.

Free wi-fi. Cockroaches. Upon arrival, our bathroom had not been cleaned. There were towels on the floor, the trash had not been taken out and the room smelled of an ashtray. We were promptly moved to another room where my husband had to kill a 3 inch long cockroach our second night. I had asked for extra coffee and towels, we received neither. The parking lot was filled with 'undesirables' and there was a huge sign stating the hotel was not responsible for your vehicle. We will never stay here again.

Nothing - We checked out 10 minutes after arrival. Filthy / under re-modeling / 1 star not 3 star. DO not stay here at least until the remodeling is complete in Jan 07.

Good location, Wireless internet that worked. On going construction. Rooms are clean, good location. problem was that they had an ongoing construction project. very dusty at the entrance, and some facilities were not available due to the remodeling.

Nothing. Hotel is under renovations. Dirt was all over everything, we had to have our room changed after seeing live roach in bathroom, hair on floor, water stains all over walls. My wife and I could hardly get any sleep after seeing live roaches. Hotel was a waste of money and disgusting. We would never stay there again or recommend it.

Large, spacious rooms. Hotel is currently undergoing renovation. Our rooms were convenient and we had two side by side. The pools were very nice and available, and we had them to ourselves. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a convenient location to the things we needed. It is in need of the renovation that it is currently undergoing, but was fine for our purposes.

The room was quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Good selection of TV Channels, and the wireless Internet (w/ the hotel provided bridge) was fast. The air conditioner was not on in the hallways and lobby area on the guest floor. It was warm carrying my luggage while waiting for the elevator. This hotel was a Sheraton in its former life. The bathroom showed it age, with a little rust and cracking near the sink, but overall, I was pleased with my stay. It was a very comfortable hotel for business travel. From a display in the lobby, there is a plan to fully renovate this property. A large selection of restaurants and a Target were very convenient from this hotel.

Very nice lobby and restaurant. Bathrooms were dirty. Nice hotel atmosphere, a little hard to find-not much in the way of signs. The bathroom was dirty and had to keep shoes on, but over all the hotel felt safe and nice.

Great location. It is pretty sad when you have to clean out the pool yourself pools were filthy, hotel is needing a serious remodeling ! Hotel might have been nice a few years back , but carpet, furniture, baths were very worn and dirty.
