I was in Phoenix to care for a son undergoing surgery. I needed a quiet place to sleep and calm down afer my long hours of caregiving. Thank you for respecting this need; I asked for no room service and was left alone. One request: I would prefer a regular coffee pot; I like to use my own cone filters and strong coffee grounds for brewing.... In short, I come to your hotel every time I am in Phoenix; thank you for being there!

Room was very spacious, quiet, close to freeway. Not much of a view. Fee for internet in your room. Overall was a very clean hotel. Close to airport was a plus. Close to freeway but not too noisy. Would have been nice to have a big screen TV on bedroom and free internet in my room.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. The suite we stayed was big. The front desk staffs were friendly. The complementary breakfast was excellent. Its location is perfect--near the Phoenix airport and right next to the Chinese Cultural Center. Highly recommended!

Convenient, friendly, free wifi, great pool, free shuttle, service A+. This is a real gem of a hotel - very close to airport, light rail, botanical gardens. Great room, beautiful pool, friendly & service - oriented staff, free wifi, free shuttle to airport/ light rail/close museums, wonderful free breakfast, and comfy bed. Don't bother with downtown hotels that are way overpriced! Wish I could have stayed here longer.

This hotel is an absolute dream. Check in was friendly and a breeze....no hold ups! The center courtyard gives everyone a balcony. The suite was perfect, kitchenette, beautiful, clean bath, sitting room and lovely bedroom. It could have been cooler, but I'm always hot anyway. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I almost missed my flight the next morning. And the cookie at check-in was delicious but the gem of it all was the pool. Tons of LARGE, clean, soft towels, sparkling water and lots of chairs. And it was right in the middle of the courtyard.... a beautiful sight...day or night. I would definitely stay there again.

When we arrived from Bryce Canyon in Utah, we were really tired. The front desk clerk put us in a room close to the parking area so we did not have to lug our luggage very far. When we saw the room, which was spacious, very clean and nicely laid out, we were very happy we chose the Doubletree. Also, the hotel was not far from the Airport which was great! I would recommend this hotel and location for anyone who visits the Phoenix area.

Easy in and out check in. Not much to say. Very good, long hard week of vacation in to a cleaned up hotel is very nice. Close to the airport so we could get home easy the next morning.

Great location, big room with 2 gueen beds and a sitting area with queen sofa sleeper. Clean room with refrig and microwave. Convienent location to Interstate 10 and route 101. Close to ASU campus. No noise heard from other rooms or outside traffic. Only 1 restaurant on site but good food provided. Great full service buffet breakfast provided!! Nice clean pool with hot tub.

Very convenient to the airport; nice complimentary breakfast. Dated, dark, cold pool, external doors, hallways/elevators dirty/dingy. Overall this is a good hotel for a man traveling on business or a family that needs to be near the airport. The staff is great - very friendly, particularly in the restaurant where they went out of their way for our kids - but the hotel suffers because of the design (lots of concrete, external doors, dark/bad elevators, strange layout) that make it feel unsafe, even though we had no security issues. Though our room was clean, it was in need of updating, esp. the bathroom, and the pullout bed was horrid - totally uncomfortable for our kids and one dirty thin blanket. The hallways/elevators need TLC; soiled linens were piled outside the elevator as were two cases of empty beer bottles when we arrived with two kids and a previous stay at the JW Marriott in Phoenix (with two lovely beds, great pools, etc. etc.) for only $20 more, this was definitely a disappointment.

Hotel was lovely, pool area and hot tub were great, and beds were the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel! We had reserved a room with 2 queen beds for the four of us, but when we arrived the hotel had us reserved for a room with one king bed. They didn't have any rooms with 2 queen beds, so they gave us two king rooms at no additional charge. Excellent customer service! We would definitely stay here again.

We were travelling from Hawaii to Philadelphia through Phoenix. We arrived at the Phoenix Doubletree at 8:15am from a red-eye flight. The Hotel checked us to our room immediately! Location is adjacent to the airport. The Doubletree tree has a wonderful private secure courtyard with really nice pool, the room was a large two room suite and immaculate. Short efficient shuttle to airport the next day after a pleasant buffet breakfast (included in charge) and on our way to Philly well relaxed.

Breakfast buffet was good. Having to walk by the smelly laundry to get to my room, charging for internet service. Good clean room. Some road noise on the side of the room I was on.

This hotel impressed me from the start! It is easy to find, very clean and presentable outside and in! I walked up to the front desk and before I could even give my name, the front desk attendant gave me warm cookies! The check in process was simple and while walking to my room I pass the georgeous pool and spa and sunbathing area, all clean and sparkling!! When I entered my room I was in awe. There is so much space! A living room with couches windows and a big tv, and a desk and coffee table! Then I keep walking (yes it is almost 42 feet long) and I see the bathroom with a beautiful shower and a display of soaps and shampoos and such items, and white fluffy towels!! Woo hoo! I pass the bathroom and enter into another room with a door that actually closes so if you have company you can separate the two rooms, another tv in the bedroom, more windows, a huge closet, and there is a huge fluffy white king size bed with a center pillow on it saying "Sweet Dreams" with oodles of other pillows that are all fluffy and outstandingly comfortable! My stay was amazing and I wont stay anywhere else!! I would recommend this to anyone looking to relax and enjoy life in luxury.

Staff seemed distant and unfriendly. The room looked good on first glance then I found the rug to be the dirtiest I've ever seen in a hotel, pubic hairs on the toilet, and almost every surface had a skim of dirt. It's like they just wiped the dirt around and not cleaned it. The hotel restaurant is way over priced, I mean $30.00 for a 12 oz NY Strip? The waiter came once then disappeared, we waited 20 minutes then got up and left. I think they make all their money on the business travelers that are reimbursed. We had to find someone to check out? Where is the staff? The friendliest person in the place was the lady in the gift shop who we asked for directions to another restaurant. She gave clear and concise directions to a good spot.

The chocolate cookies and free breakfast. It was more crowded on this holiday weekend. We love this hotel. If we can stay here we do. Affordable, nice, 1 mile from the airport, they give you warm chocolate cookies and offer a free hot buffet breakfast. A really good choice, especially if you're flying out of Sky Harbor Airport.
