Great Value! The hotel is very charming with the French Quarter styled architecture. Very clean and helpful staff. My favorite place to stay in Lexington.

Very quiet, clean, convenient. Location was strange. Very nice hotel, in quiet location, nicely decorated, great garden tub.

I stayed at this hotel with my two kids (age 15 & 11) and our dog (lab 45lbs). I picked this hotel because it was pet friendly, looked clean and had a pool for my kids. The hotel was great, very clean, great staff- made us feel very welcomed -even with a dog! However, we drove 6 hours to get there and my kids were really looking foward to the pool (excess energy). And the pool was closed. I was really upset that the web-site mentioned nothing about this. It does mention that the hotel is under construction thru April 2008. And we were staying beyond that. Luckily, there was a beautiful park 2 miles down the road with walking paths play structure, paddle boats, and a big fenced in dog area. This made up for the pool. We would stay here again.

The room was OK, we loved the whirlpool tub. Nice linens! They got our check in time wrong, so we had to wait for our room, then we noticed as we were going to diner there was a wedding ceremony happening IN THE LOBBY!!!! It would have been nice to know of this when checking in. The reception was also in the lobby, so it wasn't quiet until well after 11pm.

Staff very friendly! We were very pleased with our stay at the Doubletree in Lexington! We got a great value on priceline and would definitely stay here again if given the chance!

We have stayed in this hotel two years in a row when we visit Lexington for the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event and plan to stay there again when we visit next year. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Our room was amazing this year when we (myself, my 12 year old daughter, her 13 year old friend, and our dog) reserved the king bed suite. With two full rooms with TV's in each room (one room with pull out sofabed) assured a spacious and private arrangement for all. Our dog was welcomed by all and he enjoyed his stay as well. The hotel is under construction but was NEVER a problem. Very clean rooms and the staff is very accomodating. The pool was not open in April but looks nice. The location is wonderful with every business imaginable nearby. Many many restaurant choices within walking distance. Starbucks is a 3 minute drive down the road. There was even a pet supply store so we could buy treats for the dog. Highly recommended!!!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Lexington for any reason.

Went to George Strait concert. Hotel located only 4 miles from Rupp Arena. Easy drive from Hotel. Room and service where great. Great Breakfast buffet in Hotel. No problems. The only negative was Vending machines didn't work. Hotel located close to Resturants. Would stay there again.

Stay somewhere else until remodeling done....... I need ed a place to stay close to hospital. Recommend that you seek shelter elsewhere until remodelling done. Good luck......... Shower did not work, No heat..., Finally got another room with heat but but was dirty........and in need of repair........

Very pleased with our stay. It is a very nice place and I felt safe.

The hotel was very nice until you noticed that the sheets hadn't been changed! We were mortified to find trash in the pullout sofabed (a very sizable sports water bottle and a beer bottle cap)! It was disgusting! The front desk did send security up with fresh sheets quickly, but this should NEVER be an issue! Also we were disappointed when routine pool maintainance (addition of pool chemicals) occurred at 2:00 in the afternoon and shut down the pool for 3 hours! Imagine having to tell your excited children they would not be able to swim. We would never stay here again!!!

Everything new, jacuzzi in the tub. Bed too high off ground - dangerous for baby. Gorgeous, and for some reason it really touched me that I was greeted with a smile and a warm chocolate chip cookie!

One of the nicest hotels that I've stayed in. The service was over the top.

"I thought this hotel was great for a family. We got to stay up and watch TV in the suite attached to the bedroom while our child slept and we didn't bother him. I thought the service was great and the beds were great to sleep on also. Would definately stay there again, especially since our family is just 2 miles from there."

Huge suite with an over-sized jacuzzi tub. Loud air conditioner in the room.

We only stayed for the weekend, but it was like our own little paradise. The inside of the hotel is beautiful, get a balcany room if you can! The atmosphere of the hotels is hopelessly romantic; you really feel secluded and relaxed. Even if everything about the hotel would have been terrible (which it wasn't), the bed and the pillows were worth every penny!! The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, with crisp clean sheets, large fluffy pillows and a down comforter..... aahhh HEAVEN! The whirlpool bathtub wasn't bad either! It really is a great escape, even if it is only for a day or so.

Very pretty. Friendly staff. No free WI-FI! Non-smoking room had a hint of stale smoke odor. Smoke odor in other areas of hotel. Very nice overall.
