We were very pleased with the hotel overall. Location was convenient to restaurants, shopping, movies and only 10 minutes from downtown activities such as Georgia Aquarium. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable!

The front desk attendant was incredibly nice and knowing: directions, eating establishments. Inward looking balconies? Coffee maker.

If you are looking for a hotel that is noisy with cramped parking for you car this is the place you want to stay. We had a room that overlooked the lobby. One of the nights we were there there was a party going on in the lobby until two in the morning. We did not get hardly any sleep because of the noise. Also everytime someone used the elevator we heard the hydraullic motor running from our room. It sounded like a distant warning siren. The parking was not adequate for the hotel. We had to park on the opposite side of the building from our room. The parking speces were small. There was not enough room to comfortably open your doors once parked. I thought when I booked the room that this hotel would be up to the usual standards of Hilton. I was extremely disappointed. I would not stay here again, if they were to give me a room for free. I would stay at a one star motel before i would stay at this tree star hotel again. They are on the same par I assure you. My advice-book somewhere else!

The overall stay was good....there is renovations going on that could have been a little more tidy as the way the foyer was left each evening after the worker left....however the hotel is in a good location close to things...an I will stay there again....

This hotel was great! My husband and I were in town to see the Atlanta Opera and the Doubletree made our experience wonderful! The room was beautiful and (most importantly) very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant downstairs was delicious. We will definitely stay here again!

I picked this hotel for a labor day weekend stay to visit my daughter after reading the good reviews. In fact, I had to re-read the address to see if I actually attended the same hotel others reviewed. I am not very familiar with Atlanta so finding this hotel at night was difficult. I'm sure in daylight and if the highways are familiar to you it would not be hard to find. But it was for me. I arrived tired and discovered on entering the hotel that the entire atrium of the hotel was being renovated. Travelocity had said that construction was happening but mentioned a couple of floors not the actual lobby. One wall was completely covered with black plastic. painting had been started, furniture was minimal, mattresses were up against a interior balcony. It was horrible. The staff were friendly but incompetent because on putting the key card into the room they gave me I discovered the room was occupied. How is that for safety and security? I dragged myself back downstairs to tell them the problem. While I stood there they were never able to figure out who was in the room. They sent me to another Doubletree. The receptionist at the second Doubletree treated me as if I were a second class citizen or was trying to carry out a scam. She was so unfriendly that I actually began to cry. I explained what had happened at the other hotel and she did soften up. Doubletree paid for the room and will refund the money I did pay. Nevertheless, I will never stay in any Doubletree again. Sometimes you do get what you pay for. This was no deal.

The Doubletree Hotel was very comfortable, the hotel was conveniently located near various shopping malls, restaurants, and the city. Nice neighborhood, very quiet, and cozy for couples as well as family. I really enjoyed the jaqcuzzi bath tub and my kids did, too. It was a very comfortable stay, like a home away from home. Large room was a plus.

The room was very comfortable and just enough room for a couple. The whirlpool tub was great! The location is perfect with easy access to the downtown area, and there is a mall and several restaurants and stores very close to the hotel location.

The hotel rooms were being renovated. The outside has been renovated but not too bad. For the money it was a good clean hotel. Request a non-smoking room. Large beds were nice and comfortable. Small Refrig and wet bar area, including jacuzzi rooms were nice. Dual balconies as well.

This hotel's swimming pool was closed, big dissapointment. Everyday, since the 1st day I arrived I had to go up to my room and come back down because neither of the 2 keys they gave me worked. I had to use the stairs because the elevators weren't working. The fitness room had 3 or 4 work out machines in a tiny dark room which made me feel clasterphobic. The furniture was a bit too old. I would not recommend or stay in this hotel's location again. I thought the name of the hotel spoke for itself but not in this case.

Great price. Nice rooms, clean, and easy access. Only had vending/ice machines on 3rd & 5th floors. I'd book a room here anytime I'm in the area!

Certain parts of the hotel need to me updated. It looked like they were starting renovation, which is a GOOD THING! The stay was great, all the staff was wonderful and very friendly.

The suite was roomy and nicely equipped, although the carpet was ready for retirement. The bed was superb--it was hard to leave it. My wife did not like the fact that the windows faced inward--toward the atrium, no windows to the outside. That made the room nice and quiet, though. The breakfast buffet was mediocre; the location is convenient (alongside a major road) but in the middle of nowhere. The bathtub Jacuzzi was a pleasure.
