in town for convention was at hotel for less than 10 hours. I am sure orbtz said I would have a view of the river but could only see the office building next door. Ten dollars for internet service seems a little excessive, it is free at so many places these days. At over $100 a night it would seem that they could do better on the IT price

The service at the restaraunt was not good. The sofabed had dirty sheets still on them. Not what I'd expect from a Doubletree. Nice, spacious suite, and downtown.

The suite was spacious and with ample room for my friends and I to enjoy a long weekend. The only negative was that the room smelled like cigarette smoke and there were leftover cigarette ashes around the trash can by the desk. One of my friends was having sinus difficulties due to the smell. Also, my other friend slept on the sofa bed in the separate living room and couldn't get to sleep because she kept hearing faint "machiney" sounds all night long at start/stop intervals. The hotel is a decent place to stay...but I doubt I'd go back.

"Excellent 2 room suites, room service, mini-mart ok, staff top quality training, no flashdrive access to business center computers (send documents to yourself) and you can print out from internet. Has bar and restaurant. Staff can recommend good restaurants in the area. Daily paid parking in adjacent lot. "

Unbelievable amount of space. High priced food menu for no more than you get. Very friendly staff. Could use security of some sort in the entrance at night since it is an open lobby you have to take an elevator to front desk/hotel main lobby on about the third floor.

I was disappointed with the quality and cleanliness of the rooms. Hotel apparently has seen better days.

Most of the staff was friendly and showed prompt attention to any concerns I had. They don't tell you that there is an additional $20.00 charge for parking. The staff was very accommodating to anything that I requested. I'm a pet lover, but the room next to us had a barking dog all night which was an annoyance. Also, there is an additional $20.00 parking charge they don't tell you about until you see it on your bill the next day. Lastly, I was charged $1.75 for a newspaper I never received.

"My husband and I stayed at the Doubletree from 6/16/06-6/18/06. My sister had reserved a block of rooms for her wedding. The location was convenient for walking to the venue she chose for her wedding. The hotel is well kept. However, I felt it was slightly overpriced. Afterall, Columbus is not NYC, but the price was higher than I pay for a hotel room in NYC of the same caliber. I could not believe the taxes and additional $12/day fee for parking. Outrageous!"

The 2 room suite was very roomy. Bedroom was behind the elevator. The hotel overall was very nice. Great location in downtown. Parking was expensive at the hotel $20 per night; however, the parking next door was only $3 per night. Some of the little extras are added charges to your room like the complimentary newspaper.

The rooms are huge. I enjoyed having two separate rooms. The air conditioning did not work properly. This hotel is definitely worth the money. You get two separate rooms, double beds, a pull out couch, and a refrigerator.
