This hotel was right in the middle of everything you want to see in the city. I really didn't have much interaction with the staff other than checking in...which means there were no problems which is good. I really don't even mind the extra expense of parking, I just didn't like how it is added to the bill at the end without telling us it was extra. I would have paid another $20 per night just for this location but they need to be more upfront with their guests.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the staff is super helpful. A pool would be great.

One of, if not, best bed that I have slept in. Great location in historic district - next to market. Did not like paying $20 daily for valet parking. Might have been able to use parking across street, if I'd known in advance. Location was good. Overall the hotel was an excellent selection. Location for sightseeing, shopping and eating couldn't be beat. Will certainly try to stay here again when I return to Charleston.

Location was great. We walked everywhere. No Pool. Rooms were on the small size but were very clean and nicely appointed. The front desk was very helpful as we checked in and offered to make dinner reservations for us.

Room could be advertised as a suite since it had a small area on one floor with two double beds on a small second floor, accessible by a narrow and steep staircase. I had asked for a king bed but was told that they were reserved for those that paid full price. Room was excessively noisy. Location almost made up for problems.

Great location. Very small room. Parking is expensive.

What a great location for visiting Charleston. All the places you would want to go to were a short walk away (with the exception of the bttery which still wasn't very far away). The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for just about everyone.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing less than a most enjoyable experience. I only have good things to say about our stay at this hotel. The location, the service, everything was just superb.

The Doubletree Guest Suites provided a well-needed respite for us during a recent visit...we did not have much time to spend in Charleston so this great location made it very convenient to do as much as possible while there. We had a quiet room with very comfortable accomodations and would definitely choose this hotel again.

I was very pleased with the location. The room and bathroom was small and the parking fee was excessive. The hotel was in a very good location. However, the room and bathroom was small. The Parking fee was excessive. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Location. Wonderful location, great room, friendly staff, easy check in/check out and loved everything about our stay.

Location, it was right on market street. There was no microwave in the room as was specified and it took over 3 hours for it to arrive. The hotel was fine for the price.

The location was perfect. The fire alarm had issues during our stay. The hotel is in a perfect location. Historic sites, restaurants, and shopping are all withing walking distance. The hotel itself is extremely clean and the rooms are very large. It lacks some of the charm that some of the other historic hotels in the district may have.

The location to all attractions was in walking distance.

Very large room with lots of space. Decorating. Great location. Nice staff. The hotel gave us a larger room that was extremely spacious when traveling with young children.

Proximity to Downtown Charleston. Right near the market and all the great restaurants, I would not hesitate to stay here again.
