The location of the hotel was fine and the hotel is quite nice; the pool was a great perk; the only drawback was the thin walls between rooms; the family who moved in next to my room at 1 AM were pretty much talking in normal voices; I could have chimed in to the converstation.

Fantastic view from room, proximity to Boston & Cambridge. Parking was $25 a night for guests? Very nice hotel. Clean. Rooms are updated and the view of Boston was nice. Not easy to get to via walking, but overall very nice and would stay there again.

We were allowed early check-in & a non-smoking room was made available upon request. The front desk staff was very nice & accomodating. The room was very clean, comfortable beds, and loved the single serve coffee maker. The only downfall was a tiny TV. Nothing I'd bother renting a movie on. It couldn't have been bigger than a 19". Had to get TP from housekeeping in the hall because an extra was not left. The lounge was very nice! Very friendly staff throughout the whole hotel. It was conveniently located to the Boston Univ campus where we needed to be. Taxi's were always available whenever we needed them.

We had a suite. The extra room was nice since there were 4 of us. We had a great view of the river.

i was on a lower floor and the road noise was substantial till about 10:00PM. be aware that overnight parking at this property is $30.00 and there is no alternative according to the staff. the bed was very comfortable.

Wonderful staff. Very clean and the shuttle was great! Wonderful staff. Very clean and the shuttle was great! It was a bit far away from everything & if you wanted to go out at night the last shuttle pick up was around 9:30. The staff was very nice and helpful! Although it was a bit out of the way the free shuttle was convenient. But we did have to take a taxi once since the shuttle only runs until about 930pm.I can see this being a great hotel if you have a car or in town for business. All in all, we had a great stay at the Doubletree.

My son and i visited Boston and booked this hotel on the recommendation of others who had stay during the marathon. The rooms were great. the staff was extremely accommodating, especially the concierge staff! Were are planning to stay here when we visit next June!

would never stay again. too noisy till 11 pm and we hardly slept. hotel staffs said there was a private party and they couldn't do anything including room change. just terrible. please don't go. we were like in a club.

When I made reservation, I chose between many room types. I specifically chose a room that was a suite with a sofa bed and king sized bed - because of travelling with two teens. I was given a room with a conference table in lieu of the sofa bed. Finally, after much complaint, I was given a room with two twins and a sofa bed. still NOT What I reserved. also, at checkin, I was definitely treated as a 2nd class citizen because of booking w/ Orbitz. Others were checked into their rooms (about 2 hours prior to checkin time) but not us , with our Orbitz reservation. Also, we were told very curtly when we asked that they were not required to let us in early. all we did was say hello, and is there any chance a room is ready - and the reply is "we are not REQUIRED...." Very, very unfriendly. Also we were told (a surprise to us!) that we would get no Hilton Honors Points for our stay. It seems like we payed good money for a room (IN ADVANCE w/ No cancellations ALLOWED) to be treated shabbily! I will NEVER, EVER use Orbitz again!

The hotel did not provide us two double beds for two adults and two kids. The hotel is in a convenient location but it did not provide us two beds for two adults and two children. We did not have comfortable sleep there.

Stayed here 1 night in Jan.2008. Pluses: Excellent hotel for the . Staff very friendly & helpful, complimentary shuttle to various locations throughout Boston made getting around very easy, rooms very clean and roomy, beds comfy, nicely maintained indoor pool and spa, free internet & business center. Minuses : Rooms have single beds instead of queen size beds, pull out couches in the living room's are very uncomfortable, restaurant food very good, but expensive, last but not least I wasn't too pleased to be charged 20 a night to park my car, parking should be free for guests. Overall this is a great hotel for the money and I would certainly stay here again.

Terrible access. Terrible access and unhelpful staff.

I came to the website to try to arrange fro another stay at this hotel, and noticed the one review and wondered what are they talking about. I usually don't take yje yime to do reviews, but had to express another opinion. I travel quite a bit, both family and businees needsm and this was one of my best stays. Everyone was quite driendly, and went out of the way to be helpful. My only dislike was the twin sized beds. Even when I am by myself, I prefer a larger bed. And the shuttle service was quite a bonus.

One night stay while in town for a Red Sox game. Short cab ride to Fenway. Easy access off I-90, Storrow & Memorial Drives. Friendly staff, comfortable stay. Room service breakfast was way overpriced.

Free shuttle service to Boston's "hot spots" like Harvard Square, Aquarium and Boston Common.

Good value, comfortable and convenient. The hotel staff moved me to a higher floor to ensure that the room was quiet and away from the jazz club.
Date of Stay:

Convenient. Right off the highway. No late night room service, and the nearby restaurant failed to deliver as late. Clean and functional,no room service, and no nearby restaurants that delivered late night made for a couple of hungry travelers.

I stayed here for a wedding and I will never come here again. The housekeeping staff repeatedly barged into rooms that had "Do Not Disturb" signs on the door (once was at 8am). The manager was rude, nosy and completely inhospitable. Many Doubletree hotels are very nice. This is not one of them. I hated this place.

Easy to get to- beautiful view of the Charles River. Wonderful walking paths along the river. Comfortable room.
