we recently stayed at this hotel for two nights while in Niagara falls. The second night me and my girlfriend smelt marijuana smoke coming from the bathroom. We went down to the front desk just to notify them about this. They offered to spray air freshener, but we were stepping out for a couple hours so we declined. When we came back the smell was gone. Later that night at 11pm the smell was so bad that we couldnt even sleep. I called the front desk and i received what i would call a very rude conversation. The lady told me that she had already addressed this problem and that she could have had someone come up and spray the room down. Long story short.........the hotel did nothing for us and only wanted to give us $20 lol. If this were to be an older couple and not a teenage couple it would have been handled alot differently.

It was pleasing, the view from room was nice. Very comfortable bed. Pretty much everything within walking distance.

The hotel was great, I miss having a breakfast of any kind and coffee in the mornings. There was a Starbuck's of course, but it didn't open until 7:00am. I did like the peacefulness of it! It reminded me of a ski lodge.

Recently I was lodged in this hotel and had very good experience. The workpeople are very kind and efficient. The hotel has good cleanliness and good service. I liked and I would stay again

This hotel provides a decent view of the American Falls but it is slightly overpriced. Rooms are spacious but not as roomy as a suite for the same cost in other locales. The breakfast buffet was expensive -- bring your own food or prepare to eat in other locations. The location has convenient access to all the areas--whether higher priced restaurants or fast food, all of the falls activities, and the Rainbow Bridge to provide easy border access. Service was good and parking fees acceptable--and easily accessible. The falls are reasonable distances away. I would have been better served at staying in a higher priced hotel with complimentary breakfast and suites with a view or a lower priced hotel without the views. This place, despite the ambiance, is average.

Great location to all the tourist spots if you're into that. Walkable to falls and tours and tourist areas. Our riverview room was a bit overstated and the hotel is a bit far for great views. They charge for parking which they don't tell you at check in but I should have asked. For the orbitz price we got a huge room close to the falls but you don't need more than 1 or 2 days there.

Everything was great, no complaints and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice facility but hard to use pool, ftness, and business centers b/c staff does not inform you of how to use them. They don't tell you where the vending machines are and when you ask and get change to put in them, they don't tell you that the machines don't accept change. They don't tell you the machines are only on every other floor. They don't tell you that you have to get a new card for the pool and fitness each day. They don't tell you ahead of time that you have to turn your personal ID over to them while you use the business center. Then I was given the ID of a different person when I tried to collect my ID. The workers sounded polite but I felt they did not make any attempt to be helpful. It should not be so difficult to utilize the amenities. There is an additional charge to park your car daily.

This was a short couple block walk to Niagara Falls. The room was fine. We did not get a room with a view but that would have made this trip even better.

My wife and i did have a great time. The motel was the best i have stayed in. Good location, quiet. I would like to say that you should tell people about paying parking. But it was still affordable. I am planning making another trip. I will use Orbitz for motel and car rental.

Very clean and friendly. Like the nice open yet homey front lobby area. It felt like a dishwasher was running all day in our room. Adult only area sign at pool was in a poor spot. Needed to be closer to stairs. It had a nice variety of amenities that suited a variety of types of guests. It was a very cozy looking hotel. Warm colours and use of wood in the public areas. Nice big windows enabled us to enjoy the view all around us.

My husband and I took a much needed vacation to Niagra Falls during the month of September 2008. We booked our stay at the Doubletree because they advertised the famous "Dream Beds", and we both have bad backs. Let me tell you the beds at the doubletree are awesome. They are by far the most comfortable hotel beds we have ever sleep in!! Don't get me wrong, they didn't match up to our comfy bed at home, which happens to be the best bed on the planet, but you didn't come here to hear about that did you? Anyway, the doubletree's customer service was impeckable. When we checked in they gave us these warm chocolate chip cookies and at first bite I thought I was going to go into cardiac arrest they were so good. I'm serious. We get to our room. Wow! I was very impressed for the price. First class all the way, right down to the oh so luxurious white down comforter on the beds.. Our a/c wasn't up to my standards, I like it very cool. 67` or cooler. They moved us to another room the next day, but that a/c I could never get really cold either and I jacked it all the way down. I would say it was about 70 to 72 degrees in the room. The nights are cooler there in September so I was o.k. but I still think your entitled to have your room as cool as your used to at home. One great thing was they have something like a Starbucks in the lobby for morning coffee at about $3.50 for a large. Very good coffee, always fresh no matter what time of day. The hotel staff were very nice.

This is a great hotel to stay at. I stayed here during the 4th of July weekend and was not disappointed at all. I choose this hotel mainly for the View of the Falls which was Superb, you wont be disappointed if thats what you are seeking. The aviance and decor was great. Just like the pictures on the website. Staff was friendly. The beds were so comfortable. The pool was great, which my teens enjoyed. The restaurant has a great menu for thosse with a fine palate. The hotel is in walking distance of The Falls and Clinton Hills. If you drive and use the parking lot, you will be charged ten dollars a day. (not bad) I definitely would stay here again and again. I could go on and on about the hotel but I wont because I just want to focus on the hotel and I believe I satisfied most reviewers curiousity.

It was our first stay in the Niagara Falls area and I would recommend this hotel. We had a great view of the fireworks from our room (10th floor). It is a short walk to some attractions or a short drive to others.

This hotel is well worth it! I was so very pleased. When we arrived I ask if we could get a better room with a better view and they were all booked. I explained that it was our 25th Ann. and the lady at the desk put us on the 15th floor with a better view. The staff was very pleasant and very very helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer here.

great place, nice rooms, the view was awesome and at check in we got the best cookie i've ever had bar none.i loved that they have a pool for adults only. make sure you have a passport, we traveled with our birth certificates so customs gave us a hard time but overall was a great trip.

The Chocolate chip cookies were amazing! Breakfast was $30.00 per person for buffet. Overall I loved this hotel. It was very nice and I miss it a lot. Those cookies were amazing that they gave at the front desk. View was great and overall great people there.

The hotel was great. Parking was easy (charged 10.30 per day for parking so beware). The hotel was more set back from the main street attractions and the falls so some walking is definately involved (wear a good pair of walking shoes) The hotel itself was perfect. A warm feeling when you walk into the lobby (very rustic). The staff was friendly and courteous. My room (a riverview with two queen sized beds) was spacious and very clean and the beds were amazing. (I slept like a baby). I attempted to go for a swim one evening in the indoor pool but it and the jacuzzi were filled with kids and parents so I opted not to take the plunge. For the price during a peak visit stay I was completely satisfied. The coffee shop in the lobby serves great java. It would have been better if they at least included some breakfast with the deal. A local newspaper delivered to your door each morning was a nice touch.
