I agree with the other comments that the rooms are quite small compared to a normal 3 to 4 star hotel in manila but i guess that's hongkong. The area is not that bad since its just a walk away from the MTR and its not hard to get around even if its your first time around. Service crew and attendants are very accommodating and friendly. When you call for any request such as extra pillow, ice and a like they would assist you immediately. Plus we arrived early like 9am and they were able to accommodate us and check us in our room at no additional charge. Rates were really cheap when we got it, so for the rate that was given to us thumbs up on the hotel. The only concern we had were the channels, most channels were local channel that just had certain hours of english show. I don't think there was cable.

I like the hotel very much. It is easy to find and very near to the MTR (a 5 min walk to Olympics MTR). All the staff working there (from the desk staff to Cafe staff to the cleaner) are very polite and helpful. Pricing is reasonable for the location but facilities is limited.

An excellent hotel ------- comfortable, quiet and clean. Have already recommended it to others. Friendly, helpful staff. Lots of granite, tile and brass in the lobby. About 30-40 minutes by taxi to the airport.

Rooms are neat and clean, though I requested for a Smoking room, there's not much smell linger around. Toilet very small but I think all hotels in HKG are like that. At least I can accept it comfortably. l still will choose to go back to the Dorsett Kowloon Hotel Hong Kong for my next Hong Kong trip, and recommend to all friends. Staff are helpful but not friendly (except the Conceige Mr. Andrew and the young chap Mr. Kenneth ~ they are both helpful and friendly). Its only 5mins to Olympic Station (turn right from the hotel and walk towards HSBC Bldg) and 15 mins walk from Mong Kok station (turn left from the hotel and walk all the way down from Argyle Rd/Cherry Rd). There's bus interchange below HSBC bldg, travellers who like to take buses have to know which are the buses that travels there. Hotel to Airport Transfer cost HKG 90/pax and need to book 2-hours in advance (My flight is 2015hrs but I have to leave the hotel at 1700hrs ~ cos they will be picking up guests from other hotels).

Enjoyed our stay in the Dorsett Kowloon Hotel Hong Kong, though we were there for 1 night only. Room was small but just as we had booked, including non-smoking. Staff very helpful. We took the E21 bus from the airport as listed on hotel website. Would not have found the hotel if it were not for a kind local woman who took us under her wing, chose the correct stop and walked to the hotel with us. Recommend that others take the hotel shuttle bus from the airport.

Rooms are small, but for Hong Kong, its about right. Location wise, its about 15mins walk to Mong Kok station. and 8mins walk to Olympic station. (normal walking speed I suppose). There is a shuttle bus that goes one way and first stop is Mong Kok Pioneer Center. But its every 1 hour. So thats not very convenient. Overall stay was good, though I only stayed 1 night.

The hotel is located in a industrial area though not too far from Olympic cities 1&2 it is a simple walk to either Mong Kok or Olympic MTR's depending on where you want to go to. The rooms are small but adquite to rest your bones after long walks around Hong Kong, rooms are reasonably equipt with Air Con, Internet (extra cost) and toiletries. The cafe restaurant is ok ( no cerials for breakfast though). I would stay there again without hesitation

We were told the hotel had a Western breakfast, but there wasnt really apart from some hard boiled eggs and baked beans. No cereal, fruit or yoghurt. Apart from that our stay was enjoyable.
