rooftop pool - perfectgood spot, but like all city centre hotels, some dodgy areas nearby. Rooftop pool a god send in 40 degrees with a 2 year old. Breakfast good.

Staffs on the front desk was not very help, which may be due to english, it is close to Metro but side stree were very scary, even the hotel staffs told us that it is not safe to go on side strees, we have to asked to clean the room, breakfast was OK, b/c I am not very big on BKfast. it is good for the money specially if you are going for business but not a good place for family.

Dorian Inn is a good hotel, but the surroundings have gone from bad but acceptable to very bad. What seems to be the local "pusher street" with 24/7 activity is next to the hotel , and armed police is plentyful in the area. Some rooms are very nice, some just OK - our had a leakage in the bathroom with water all over the floor. A big + for roof terrace with swinningpool

The rooftop pool with one of the nicest views in Athens was undoubtably the best part of this hotel. Thankfully, it more than canceled out the worse part of the hotel - the seedy walk from the metro, a bit scarey at night but as far we could tell not dangerous. Apart from that, rooms were clean and the staff was responsive. The air conditioner in our room was not terribly effective so it made for a warm night's sleep but with the windows open it was bearable. There was a large teen group there the first weekend of our stay but the staff was very responsive to our request to monitor the noise level and the second night was better than the first. At our request we stayed on a higher floor the following weekend which made a big difference. The free breakfast buffet was fine but for coffee I choose to frecuent the rooftop bar for breakfast-the bartender was pleasant and the cappucino and cookies, great and the view...

Top Floor & foyer great.Beds in room were old and slats kept breaking. Air conditioner seem to stuggle with hot conditions but staff very helpful.A great view over Athens from the restruant and pool on top Floor . The location of this hotel is in a area of Athens that is known for drug dealers.
