we enjoyed the pool, game room, the location....across from downtown disney and our room was great. we will be staying here again. next time we are going to try and get a 1 or 2 bedroom villa so we can bring extended family as well, the studio was nice and perfect for us, our kids are small so the pullout sofa was great for them. the view from our room was great..and it was quiet, we never heard any noise from other guests. our kids are 2 and 4 and it was very kid friendly from the food choices to things to do at the resort

My family and I stayed at the Saratoga Springs Resort last December, and absolutely loved the property. We had a ground floor, 1 bedroom in the Grandstand section of the resort. We had our own local "quiet pool" with a hot tub and splash area for the kids, and also went to the main pool. We were able to get lifejackets for both kids, although the rental place was not convenient to the main pool (I expected it to be right there, but it was in a nearby building). We ate at the Artists Palette restaurant, and the variety was good. The food was OK. They also sell food you can cook yourself, which is a bit pricier than a local grocery store would be, but you are paying for convenience. The room was nice and in good condition, although the layout is strange, with many connecting doors set at angles. We were able to sleep five in the room by putting one of the kids on the floor (the 1 bedrooms are for 4 guests). Our car died in the parking lot at check-in, and the cast members were very helpful in getting security out to try and jump the car. When that didn't work, the cast members got us in touch with the AAA Car Care Center on property, who were able to come out and tow the car in for repairs. Our room was next to the golf course, but we never were bothered with noise. The Grandstand section was wonderfully quiet and peaceful, and we would request a room there again, rather than in one of the older sections of the resort near Downtown Disney. We definitely recommend this property!

The rooms here are very nice and peaceful. The staff was very friendly as well. We were right around the corner from Downtown Disney and that was cool. The free shuttles to all the parks was an added bonus as well.

My family stayed in August 2008 and had a GREAT TIME!! The rooms were very spacious so that we were able to fit 6 adults in easily. The bathroom was GREAT in one room, so we all ended up using it. The staff was very friendly making us feel welcomed from the time we walke in the door, the bus boy even did magic for us, it was a moment we'll always remember. The only complaint I really had was the transportation system. It seemed to take a long time for certian parks to get to and from the hotel. It seemed very adult friendly and was a short walk away from downtown disney, which was nice.

The Saratoga was a beautiful property just one block from Downtown Disney and therefore close to all restaurants and gift shops. We had just a limited time in Orlando (two nights), so that made this amenity a great value. We spent a few hours there the night we arrived, and then a few hours the day we left. Certainly manageable with little ones. And satisfying for older kids. That left our one full day at WDW MK, full without rushing through gift shops for momentos. The Saratoga's rooms were exceptional in that the pull out sofa which normally would spell back aches for anyone over 100 pounds was a unique design in that it pulled out like a jack knife murphy bed so there were no bars or springs just a firm board with a 7 or 8 inch foam on it. My husband (200#+) and I slept fine on it, since the TV was more in view from the Queen bed. Everything was clean and fresh upon arrival and they even had the room available early. And finally, the most important amenity, travel to and from the park was on time and comfortable!

I was on a huge vacation with my youth group. I have my husband, kids from the ages of 11-16,one being in a wheelchair from a car accident(the 12 year old), my friends who are counselors, and pets. it was so horrible. I had booked up 5 rooms. I asked to speak to the manager after getting rude service from the staff. he said that he couldn't find my reservation, so i had to get new rooms for more money and said it was my fault so I did not get a discount. NEVER stay at this hotel.

Very comfortable. This is a big resort. The pool is great (one long water slide and one shorter one). Be prepared to walk to main pool area and food court if you are in a far villa. East to catch bus to Disney locations.

Saratoga Springs resort definitely caters to families, and makes a Disney stay very enjoyable. Rooms were spacious, with plenty of amentities. Our family of four was very comfortable with ample room. Full kitchens were a definite plus, especially with children along. The pools (both the large children's pool with water slide and the smaller, quieter pools) were very refreshing, with lots of chairs and some shaded areas. By far this is one of the nicest resorts in the Disney complex.

This was a great hotel. I stayed in a 2 bedroom for 10 nights. We felt like home. Even better because there were maids. :) The service was the best. Just like staying at Disney only relaxing. :) The pool was the best I have seen. Better than a water park. It never seemed crowded though the hotel was full. My son loved the slide. The other pool without the slide was good too. Our room was so clean I wondered if anyone had ever stayed there before. The grounds were so relaxing and beautiful to walk around. We made a day to just stay at the resort because it was so great. My kids even wanted to stay and they are 8 and 16 (were then). We stayed over Thanksgiving 2007. This year we are going back and we are in the process of buying the DVC it was soooooo worth it.

We loved this hotel so much that we joined the Disney Vacation Club with this as our home property. Great rooms...huge....we even got a free upgrade. Very quite.....a nice relaxing get away from busy Disney parks.

This resort is beautiful. Huge, flowing, manicured grounds. Beautiful ponds, pools and playgrounds. The atmosphere is very relaxed with calming music piped in around the common areas, inside and out. The staff says "Welcome Home" to you when you get there, which I thought was very corny, but it really began to feel like home after a few days. My 2 year old even said "Welcome Home" every time we came "home". He loved it. Husband and I had our 8 year old daughter and 2 year old son with us and it could not have been better. The main pool had family activities and an awesome waterslide for each of the kids. The other pools were very nice, with hot tubs and playgrounds right next to them. The 1 bedroom suite was huge and clean. And the full kitchen is very convenient. The restaurants were had great options even for the kids. It was so nice to come home to this relaxing place after our fun, hectic days at the parks. Loved this resort!

The hotel is beautiful and is great . The Turf Club and Bar is an excellent place to get away and eat. Food quality is excellent!! Will go back. Baot ride to Downtown Disney is a must!

"Big, clean room, service was A++. the grounds are manicured and spread out, relaxing. The hotel pool - the main one - was a lot of fun, great waterslide (photos dont do it justice) and great arcade right there too. Will stay there again. My only negative was that they probably need another restaurant, your choices are either sort of take out - sort of - or relatively nice - make a reservation if you want to eat at the turf club! A little room service option other than pizza would of been good, but we did have a kitchen with groceries on site, so not a big complaint."

Even though I have a chose to go to many different resorts, I choose to return to SS. The quality is A+ all the way around. It's Disney, and the service is exactly what you would expect. I am a single mother, so feeling safe is very important when I travel. I would even return to SS alone. Lots of things to do. Transportation is very convenient. The Mickey Express service is a great way to go.

This was our second stay here and we loved it both times. The first time was with the kids and they loved the pools. We love having pools located all over the resort and not just the main pool. There was never more that 5 people at our pool this trip. I agree do need more options for eating. Will visit this resort again.

We love Saratoga Springs..we are now DVC members. We are treated like family and everyone takes the time to make us feel special. Excellent location, ameneties, staff, this is our other home! The only detraction is that the dining center is quite a hike. We can't wait to go back and enjoy being pampered. Our room is clean and enviting. If I win the lottery--we are moving there! We tried Old Key West, and came back to Saratoga Springs!

"We went on vacation there last December. I am still waiting for a phone call from them about a lost bag, The day we departed we left our bag in the lobby. We have called them about six times since never received a call back and never got an answer back. I would not go here again."

We have stayed here twice and both times have been excellent. Nice rooms and views of Downtown Disney and the fireworks show. It's close to everything but still hidded. The Spa services are excellent too.
