Every section was a different year! It took me back in time!

I felt great that we paid only $ per night, but I would have felt much worse had we paid full price. The property -- pools, landscaping, main building where you check-in, eat, etc. -- is great. Very Disney-like. It's clean and well maintained. You also get all the benefits of staying at a Disney property. For example, you get great transportation to and from the parks. The actual rooms are dated. For example, the water in the shower was audibly leaking the entire time. The towels, sheets, pillows, blanket, etc., are low quality. But, yes, they are clean. And they brought a pack-n-play to the room. Overall, I would consider staying there again if I could get it for the same price. But I would never pay full price. Instead, I would upgrade to a better quality Disney property.

The hotel was very nice, clean, and well-kept even though the place is considered a 'value' resort. However, the place is VERY kid friendly, with kids running up and down the halls all hours of the day. We were also lucky enough to have a child next to us. I feel that little kids will pop up everywhere, but parents are more likely to stay at less expensive places since their children don't really care what the lodging is like anyway. However, that was our luck of the draw; everything else was very good, with a great food court and large gift center. The transportation to the parks is also GREAT.

The best hotel we've stayed at in awhile! Everything was super clean, looked brand new inside and out. I was worried about being on the same side as the pool but we didn't hear a thing. We did the early check-in and it was a breeze but it wouldn't have mattered as there were plenty of front desk personnel to help everyone and we would have been helped right away even if we hadn't done early check in. The only draw back was the cafeteria, always packed but always a place to sit too. There were lines for each section but it always went quickly. We couldn't have been happier with our stay! IF we don't stay here on our next trip it will only be because I want to maybe try the Fort Wilderness. Thanks POP!

I was disappointed that my luggage was delayed but after complaining got a priority pass to the park.

We arrived at Pop Century for a one night stay. We have stayed there in the past. Once 3 years ago, and another time when they first opened. The other times we have stayed, the facility and services have far exceeded our standards, as Disney often does. However, this time the facility was not as nice. The room was not as clean as I like and I will admit, I am picky. There wasn't an extra blanket available. We had to haul our luggage clear across the facilty and we were not offered any help. I have come to expect better service from a Disney resort, but was disappointed. The dining facility was over crowded and we were there at what is considered a slow time. We tried to eat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather, but were dive bombed by black birds. They were literally touching our heads even though we ducked. The food quality was not at Disney standard either. I don't mind paying the higher price for food when it is excellent, but it was just OK. The fruit offered in the past has been top of the line. All they had available when we were there was honey dew melon and it wasn't that good. There were a few oranges and apples. I took an orange, only to find the end of it spoiled. I hope Disney will improve on some of these things, as it is what sets them apart from other hotels.

Me and my girlfriend went on vaction chose this hotel for our vacation it was cheap and on disney property so disney took care of almost everything so all we had to worry about was getting to the parks which wasnt bad using the bus like 15 min wait at longest. we got to use the disney magic hours so we got to stay at the park later. great service no complaints.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was in the 80's section and was small but very clean and functional. Nice mattresses - we all slept well. Very kid friendly. Food court and shopping were convenient and not overly crowded - especially for the size of the resort. Transportation to the parks was great. The buses ran regularly and the waits were not that bad. I would stay at Pop Century again and recommend it to family and friends, especially those with children.

We went to go spend a day at Disney before a cruise. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The food service area was incredibly crowded, though. Great if you want to get in and out and on your way, but not great if you're looking for something quiet and relaxing. The staff was friendly and courteous. We reported a bad switch in the bathroom area that was not repaired during our stay.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. The hotel was very clean, the people friendly, would stay again. The only complaint is the lack of food variety at the hotel. In fact, the only sit down restaurants in all of Disney World, you must have a reservation months in advance. I absolutely love the Disney Express and the shuttles to the theme parks...we didn't have to wait more than ten minutes each time.

Walked around outside checking out most of the many different themes for the resort. Watched rabbits eating the grass. Shopped. Attended Hollywood Studios. This was one of the better places we have stayed in. We really liked the memories as we walked around inside & out.

This was our 4th time to Disney, and our first time staying at Pop Century. The motel was very clean, and the staff was always friendly. If theres one down side to our staying here, it would have to be the walk from the room to the place you load the bus. ( Of course, this was when the weather was unnaturally cold for Florida, 40 degrees, every day we were there ). However, for the money, and the small time that you are in your room, this is your best bet, by far. Consistent, in every sense of the word. Rooms, food, and amenities. Very good experience.

Loved the cafeteria style food, it was fast, the drawback was that the food was cold by the time we stood in line to pay.

To my surprise, contrary to a previous experience with the Magical Express to the Contemporary, I was greeted by a dedicated bus to the PopCentury and did not have to stop at THREE other resorts before getting to the PopCentury. When I arrived, it was indeed the most delightful assortment of memoribilia that I had seen since childhood..."BoysLife"..etc, and being 52 years old and unaccompanied, I was not too "old" to enjoy this place, along with all of the happy children and parents running around. The place was spotless, rooms were comfortable (I paid the extra few bucks for the "preferred" room) and they must have sound-proofed the rooms because it was absolutely silent. I enjoyed the beautiful pool area, and especially a 5-K run around the hotel pathways, while encountering all of these period-signs that explained a few of the more significant events over the past 5 decades. The diner area was great..nothing fancy...just good old reliable food, and yes, you could eat healthy if you wanted to carefully sift through the choices. I was informed to buy the re-usable souvenier mug, and I did so immediately. Good thing, as I refilled it countless times with coffee, beverage, ice water, over my 4 day visit. One of the best secrets of this place, is the convenience if you are attending a conference at the much more expensive Contemporary. The busses out front go directly to Magic Kingdom, where you get off and take a 5-minute leisurely walk to the Contemporary Convention Center. No hassle, and quite beautiful. On your return to the PopCentury, you will find another dedicated bus waiting for you at Magic Kingdom, directly , to home.

Although it reminded me of a cruise line, for the price and convenience of staying on Disney property, it was the right choice. Its a budget location, with nice amenities for the family, not exactly the idea for romance or first class accomodations.

This hotel provides everything you could need to make your trip to Disney a good one. The rooms are clean. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Getting to where you need to go is extremely easy using the Disney transportation system. Also getting to and from the airport couldn't be easier using the free Magical Express service. This is our second year at this hotel and we are already making plans for next year!

We used the pool. The one for our section was nice. The staff was friendly. We used the shuttle to go to the Magic kingdom. The rooms were small. There were none of the expected things in the room like the coffee station, small fridge etc. Also, you have to use your room towels for the pool and then try to get some more for washing up. The food situation was horrible. We ended up leaving the Disney grounds for food. They have the prices jacked up so high you have to spend a fortune. $2.50 for a soda out of the machine. Outrageous. I would save the money and stay off the grounds. Just pay the parking. The shuttle is not worth the price you pay for the room. 100% overrated.

Excellent location to Downtown Disney and Animal Kingdom. Next door to Carribean Beach hotel. Bus will take you to all parks and Disney attractions. You can also get a shuttle from the airport. You wouldn't need a car if you stayed in the parks for your entire vacation. *******If you have a car, parking is tight. At one point there were only two spaces left in the parking lot at our building. Make sure they aren't paving the parking lot of your building, because you have to park further away. *******Handicap parking is limited and always taken. Long walk from the parking lot to your room.
