We enjoyed the Comptemporary Resort Tower. This was our 4th trip to Disney. This was our favorite place to stay yet. The location & service cannot be beat!!!. Great pool with slide & mini brand new mini waterpark, great game room. Food was pricey, but the room did have a fridge to save money. We were allowed a very early check in. We stayed on th 9th floor overlooking Bay Lake & Pool. Awesome view! I did get a little noisey early the mornings, but not bad enough to complain. Disney is a busy place. We will stay here again, hopefully soon!

We had booked a garden room and was upgraded to the 12th floor with a balcony overlooking Disney World. We were able to see fireworks and Cinderella's castle from the balcony. The room was very clean and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for anything better. The concierge on the 12th floor was very helpful in making reservations at Chef Mickey and other restaurants.

We stayed in the Atrium Club on the 12th floor. This was the concierge level. The week started with my 3 year old spilling some lemonade on the bed. We asked if the sheets could be changed and they said no problem. When we got back to the room, the sheets had not been changed and the dirty towels that were on the floor were now hanging up on the shelf as if they were clean. Toothpaste noticeable from my son and they were still wet. We again asked for the sheets to be changed and with no response. After the third request on the third day we complained. The bell hop manager was the only one we could talk with. She did give us a 200 credit on purchases but we did spend 10k on the trip. I asked that the manager of the resort contact us. No response. Knowing that we made them mad we started putting the privacy please tag out. On the final day we let them clean. We came back to the room and the towels that were hanging had brown material that looked like they had wiped themselves with them. We went to complain and the concierge was to busy.....they said to hold on they would get to us as they were both working on their computers. Then other people came up and they took them so we gave up. Luckily we left the next morning. The management at the contemporary do not care about customer service.

Beautiful Hotel, great location and having the monorail passing through the Lobby was great! the room were great so confortable and cozy with a great view. I know is price but is worth the experience everybody is in a magical mood. Only thing I kind of disagree is about the breakfast, if you are paying so much for a 5 stars hotel they could at least give you a free continental breakfast and if you want the breakfast with mickey and friends then you will pay for it. The breakfast still not a big deal food wise but is a nice experience to be with all of disney's characters together. Make sure you make your reservations for everything because when you get there everything is packed and the reservations department is not very helpfull they have some kind of cranky old ladies working there that would not try to help at all, take the breakfast with mickey and I highly recomend the restaurant on the 15th floor to watch the fireworks, food is amazing and you can see the castle and the whole show. overall was a great experience.

We paid $** plus taxes per night ( the cheapest room) and I would never ever stay in this hotel again. For this price I was expecting something way better.. In fact, last time we went to Disney we stayed at a Springfield Hotel for $**/ night and breakfast was included. I am not sure why they call this hotel a "resort" .. there is nothing like it... The bed sheets were not changed everyday.. There were no holiday decor in the garden and in the lobby, there were just a few "small" xmas trees... For this price I was expenting at least free coffee... oh they did have a coffee shop in the lobby, but of course, you had to pay for it... what a disappointment...

Staff & Service was excellent - Disney seems to have this right. The first floor Garden View room was a great disappointment. Style & design was great. But construction was terrible. Noise from the room above prevented us from getting to sleep for 1 1/2 hours. Every footstep was amplified - sounded as though this was wood construction, with creaks and thumps. I expected much more for a room in this price range. Also, hand held shower was falling apart. I repaired this myself but would have expected this to have been repaired before I arrived. Absolutely no shelves or soap trays in the walk-in shower. Air conditioning was "just" adequate - attempted to run continually to mask the noise from above but shut off prematurely. Set at 65 but did not approach that temperature. Perhaps the rooms in the main hotel would not have this noise problem, but I would never stay in a Garden View room again. I doubt that this construction design flaw will be corrected so I recommend avoiding these rooms.

Great location for Disney World. Wish the food was better on the 4th floor. Restaurants were too hard to get a reservation and not open enough hours.

This was our second visit to Disney World. Loved our 10 day trip. We stayed at Contemporary Hotel December 23rd and 24th. We walked to the Magic Kingdom - greatest part of hotel is location! We had a garden wing room. Updated nicely. My son celebrated his birthday on Christmas Eve and they were very nice and brought the cake to the pool area for us to celebrate there with family. They also brought a signed Mickey Mouse card and balloons to the room that was a great surprise. The wave restaurant was good but a small menu. The grounds were disappointing. Dated, simple, clean lines as you would expect from the name but did not satisfy needs for a vacation getaway. The whole pool area is dull and lacking. You couldn't see fireworks well from pool area but you can see the boat parade in the river at night near pool. We have stayed at the Polynesian and enjoyed that much more if you were to stay on Disney property. We also stayed at Universal's Loews Royal Pacific. That property is only five or so years old. You can walk to the exciting citywalk and fast pass comes with the room with also a lovely short walk or boat ride to Citywalk and both Universal parks. Loved it!! And only a 20 minute ride to Disney. Universal is a very exciting area that we would stay at again.

The hotel and resort was much too large and was not family friendly. The hotel staff was ok but not the disney experience I have received in the past. We have been vacationing in Orlando for 10 years and this is the first and last time we will stay at a Disney resort. We spent alot of money for a little bit of nothing. The extra shows at the resort were not included in the price of the room and they were rather expensive..Also everything in the hotel was so far to walk to, pool, game room, gift shop, restaurant and the front desk.

We may have been expecting too much based on the very high price, but we were disappointed with the drab room and the nondescript beach and pool area. We did like The Wave restaurant at the Contemporary Resort. The food was good, and the waitress a delight. A lot could be done with this resort by introducing some color! The rooms had lovely marble and wood, but the decor was neutral, neutral and neutral.

This resort was worth the money. It was a garden view room and was beautiful. The room was extremely clean and the staff was very nice. The location was great and the monarail made it very easy to visit magic kingdom. I would stay again.

Had a family of 5 in one room, and we still did not feel cramped. Everything was very clean. I would stay there again.

The location is great. The monorail is nice, but you have to change at the main station to go to Epcot, which can be confusing. The rooms are quite large, Hi-Def TV, but you get two Queen beds, which is great for a family, but kinda awkward if it is just two of you. The options to eat are limited, but very excellent. The bar is very cool, but closes early. I would stay here again if I come back with my family.

The hotel had a great location, it is right next to the Magic Kingdom. There are some renovations going on. It is noticeable but doesn't spoil the trip. My daughter is 5 and loved the hotel and wanted to stay at the pool most of the time. We stayed another hotel on the same trip. At this hotel we truly felt we were in Walt Disney World. The rooms were clean, comfortable and a good size.

The resort is welcoming, even though they are going to many renovations at the resort. The kids enjoyed the Arcade and the Pool. The front desk and cocierge team where great, if there was a problem, they realy tried to help you. Even if wasnt something to do with them.

This was our families first visit to disney world. The Disney Contemporary Resort was the beginning of our magical experience. Our kids loved seeing the monorail inside the hotel everyday, and being able to get off and on the monorail in our hotel was great. Our room was very spacious as well as the bathroom. The tv was a beautiful flat screen and having a refrigerator was great for the kids drinks and such. The pool area was spectacular with an awesome slide. We will stay longer next time to enjoy this part of the contmeporary more. The dining was great too. There where a couple of really nice restaurants with great food, quick service dining which was perfect for my family. We ate there a lot and it was very easy with a lot of choices, even soy milk for my milk allergic child. We loved the Contemporary and will definitely return.

It is an excellent, clean hotel with rooms that contain every amenity. The service and facilities are fine and the proximity to the magic kingdom is unbeatable. Certainly worth the money.

The Contempary was renovated since I have last been there it was very tastefully done. My only complaint was check in was slow and disorganized even though there were very few people checking in, I would not want to be there during busy times.It took aprox 30 minutes to check in. We had prepurchased tickets which we had to go to another counter and wait another 20 minutes before we were helped. Beside check in over all the stay was good.

My 85 year old mother and I stayed at the Contemporary resort for the first time. The location and convenience to all Disney theme parks was the primary reason and it was an excellent choice for this reason alone. Our room was very nice and very clean. We stayed in one of the garden wings and this was a little hard to get to. If I had it to do over again, I would pay the extra to stay in the main tower. The only complaint I had was that the restaurants were not open late enough and the carpet needs replacing in the hallways. Otherwise it is an excellent hotel, even though it is high priced.
