over all it was great but the resort is a 20 min or more by disney bus ride to the nearest park

Upon checking in at approximately 11 pm, we were shocked that we had been given only one king size bed for three people. The front desk was accomodating and the supervisor said that there was no other room available that night, but would move us to another room in the morning, and would send up a folding bed for that night. I stated that there was no room for it as the room was very small, and she said that "they know how to do it". We left for the Magic Kingdom and returned about 1:30 am, and there was no folding bed. I called the desk, and was informed they would be right up. Shortly thereafter, a woman brought in the bed and proceeded to leave. I asked her about setting it up and she replied "this is a VALUE hotel. I have never been so insulted! I intend to write to Customer Relations at Disney.

We researched rooms for a VERY long time and kept coming back to this place. The family suite was perfect in every way and we wont go back to a regular room again. The kids loved having their own area as well as us parents, and the two bathrooms was an added bonus. They did charge 10.70/day for the fridge, but it is in-room whether you use it or not - just their way of getting extra I guess. The pool was fun for the kids, though we didn't spend that much time in it. The food court was decent. Not a place I would want to eat at for every meal every day but it was fine for once a day and the food was always good. They have the basics and it stays the same every day so don't expect something extra-fancy or different and you won't be disappointed. They provided bed rails for our young toddler, we used the magical express for transportation to/fro the airport and it was great. There was a longer delay with getting our luggage the first day though (more than 3 1/2 hours) We also loved the being able to get around everywhere with the busses. After a long day at the Magic Kindgom and a LONG line for the music resort we hopped onto the Sports bus and walked nextdoor to the Music, saved a lot of time waiting in line for a packed bus (we just had to walka little more) If you are on a budget but want the Disney experience you won't go wrong staying here. Use Disney's options to their fullest and it really is a GREAT deal.

Second time that I have stayed there, first in 5 years, and it was still as good as I remembered. Shuttle bus service to and from the parks is free and convenient. Rooms are very clean. Pretty good food in the cafeteria at a moderate price (for disney). Very family friendly. Anyone who wants a nice place to stay with a free shuttle service to all parks in disney at a low price should stay here.

The hotel was all we expected. The staff were extremely helpful in all areas. The gift shop was fun and staff were very interactive with our daughter. They loved the "pin trading". the room, though all the way in the rear of the property, was well maintained, clean and quiet. The food court had many choices, not too outrageous prices, and large portions. We did have to stalk some people leaving their table to snatch it on a rainy morning when the number of diners outnumbered the seating, but that was to be expected. Teh swimming pools were well maintained, including all decks powerwashed every morning. The entire hotel was clean and bright. Overall, the stay was very pleasant, we had a great time and would stay there again.

The family suite was large and and clean. Housekeeping routinely surprised us with random docorations of origami towels as well as having our stuffed animals and my daughter's doll in playful poses. If anything was needed from housekeeping, it was promptly delivered. The flubs with our stay was that my sister's room was only half cleaned when she arrived and I had to track down my dry cleaning. Lots of activities in the afternoon and early evening at the "guitar" pool which the kids loved and quieter setting at the "piano" pool which the parents loved. Food was fast, hot & good. Staff was very friendly! About a 20-minute non-stop shuttle bus ride to Magic Kingdom.

I picked this hotel because I love music and because it was one of the cheapest hotels inside of Disney. We got put in the farthest building of the hotel so it was a little walk to our room but now that bad overall. My only complaint would be that the transportation that goes to and from the parks and hotels have one bus for the three all-star resorts for each park. So, the bus takes a bit longer to go to and from different locations and it does get crowded. We never missed a bus because it was crowded but we came close a few times. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget, otherwise I'd suggest another one, if only for the transportation issue.

the only thing was the "double bed" size. It would be nice if the beds were queen size. But they were very comfortable. I would ask for a "preferred" room next time for the 10 extra dollars a day it would be worth it. It was a long walk jus to get coffee or a soda. Everything else was great. Lots of fun at the pool in the afternoons. Music, dancing and games.

First, when had a family suite, for 4 adults and 2 kids, we would have not fit comfortably in this room! An adjoining room with two full beds in each is bigger and 10 less..Our room was so far away from the lobby, it would take at least 15 minutes with both kids to get from our room to the hotel, then another 5 to get to where the buses were parked. I was not impressed, the staff didn't seem to care that we were inconvienced and we had to exchange our keys 5 times each on this visit. Housekeeping spoke NO english, they should have least spoken a little for communication purposes. The food was horrible and overpriced, it was worth taking a cab to the McDonalds up the street. The arcade is a joke...All in all, even it were a little more money to stay somewhere else, I would.

We needed a place to crash after going to the parks. The rooms were fine for just that. After a 12 hour day at a park and if you need a place to crash this is a good place to stay. The bus line to each of the parks worked great and I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfasts they served. We liked the fact the pool was open to midnight, after a long day at the parks, a quick dip in the pool, then off to bed. Location was fine, we didn't need to rent a car, the buses can take you everywhere.

If you plan on going to Disney, it is well worth it to stay at one of the properties. We stayed at the All Star Music Resort and the rooms were top quality. The only bad thing was no free internet, but the good thing was we weren't glued to our computer. A very enjoyable stay and free transportation to all the Disney locations. I would definetely stay on a Disney property again.

Great place to stay when you visit Disneyworld!. Pick up and drop off from airport. Bus's to and from all parks. Do not need a rental car. Movies by the pool everynight. Activities for the kids. Very clean and well kept.Rooms are somewhat small, but we did not spend much time there besides sleeping. OK food selection, prices OK, do like us and bring your breakfasts and lunches along in a cooler, saves a lot of money. Would stay here again!

Went with my two older children. We were very impressed with the All Star Music Resort since it is considered a value resort. Check in was quick and everyone there is very friendly and helpful. Use the Disney Magical Express. It was so nice not having to worry about our luggage. We never had to wait more than five minutes for transportation to and from the parks. Only negative thing was our room was not too close to the lobby. With all the walking around the parks, the walk back to our room was too far. Overall the hotel experience was great. We would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel - extremely clean and very friendly staff - the room was a little far from parking and food court - but hotel very convenient to Magic Kingdom - enjoyed the hotel better than the All stars Sport where we stayed in November 2008. Would love to see a computor room with internet access without having to bring your own lap top.

Booked this hotel through online travel website and got fabulous value for the price. Check in was a breeze with friendly, client-centered staff. The ability to buy attraction tickets on site was convenient. Hotel rooms are very clean and have all the necessities. Pools were clean and a great relaxing experience after a day of attractions. The single best part of this hotel and others on site at Disneyworld are the access to Disneyworld Transportation - just park your car when you check in and you never have to move it again till you are returning home. Great hotel - will definitely stay there again.

I paid for an upgraded (premier) room but upon check in was assigned to a first floor room on the far back of the building facing the parking lot. The air conditioning did not work and the room was dirty. Tried to change rooms that night but was told they were sold out...but the parking lot was not 1/3 full and I didn't see another guest room with lights on in my side of the building. The next day I went back to the front desk and asked for a new room and was given a second floor adjoining room. That room was also dirty and the guest next to me was very sick and coughing so loud we could hear him over the TV. Requested a room change for a third time and after a thirty minute wait finally received a quiet room, on the third floor, over looking the pool. Third room was still not clean but at least the air conditioning worked. I have stayed at the Disney resorts several times in the past and these were the worst quality of rooms in terms of size, appearance and cleanliness that I have ever seen at their resorts. The bus transportation offered by Disney for this particular resort was also mediocre at best. Waited 30-45 minutes for the resort bus and when it arrived they packed so many people on it that kids were getting stepped on. Many people complained about this when we arrived back at the hotel from Downtown Disney. I would not recommend this resort to anyone with small children or to those who are looking for the ultimate Disney experience. The bathrooms are so small that if you don't step to the side of the toilet when you open or close the bathroom door, the door will scrape the top of your feet. No soap dish on the sink, no coffee makers in the rooms, air conditioning in 2 out of the 3 rooms didn't work, and the walls and head boards in the rooms were sticky. Bottom line, the All Star Resort hotels are in need of a serious upgrade...and deep CLEANING!!!!

This hotel is great for traveling with children. Not to fancy. Convinient disney buses leaving frequently to parks or park parking fee waived with stay. It is a god deal if you pay the right price for the night, but if you spend more than eighty-five a night you might find more upscale acomodations for the price. People are very friendly and has a verynice cafeteria-type restaurant. Overall we had a great experience for about seventy-five box a night.
