Would recommend and would stay again. Small rooms but we were never in the room. Buses run every 20 minutes and service all 3 all star resorts for the 4 theme parks. Sometimes you have to wait but it is usually quick. The pool is ideal for children and adults. If your little ones do not swim well they have life vests in a storage box, first come first serve. Our room was clean and the staff was most helpful...it was "magical"!

We loved our hotel. The Disney transportation was very convenient and the cleanliness and service of All-Star Movies was unbeatable. We we actually close enough to All-Star Music that we could go there for food/buses too. I'm gladly staying at the Disney All Star Movies Resort Lake Buena Vista again in August 2009.

The food was excellent for cafeteria style dining. Food prices were pretty decent. Rooms were clean, but basic and small. No fridge or coffee makers in room. Excellent for staying short-term, but would recommend you stay at another resort that has more space if you have small children and are staying more than a few days - starts to feel a little cramped. Disney buses were quick - didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes each time. If you aren't planning on spending much time in the room, then this is an excellent value that gives you the perks of staying on a Disney resort.

This Disney resort is great for families. The giant icons are fun to see, and the landscaping is pretty throughout. The food court has a variety of choices and the employees are helpful and friendly. If your family is on a budget, this is the best place to go! You can use the Disney Magical Express free transportation to/from the airport, and you don't need a car once you arrive. You may need some patience waiting for the buses, but not needing a car is worth it in my opinion. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The chairs were a little stained and the furniture looked a little worn, but for the price it was fine. The convenience of a Disney resort made up for it. If you get a good deal, you can't go wrong with the Disney resorts.

Just a last-minute vacation with our 2-year-old. When we arrived the room wasn't clean, they lost tickets that I had ordered from an outside service, and the only food available was a huge cafeteria with overpriced cafeteria food. We did learn to like the place, but will definitely check out other hotels, probably in the general orlando area, next time. I'm thinking maybe they have to work harder since they are not "Disney" hotels. Maybe not...who knows! After complaining about the room and the service with the tickets, they did come and clean and folded the towels into animals, and put our daughter's stuffed animal on the bed like it was watching TV, which was cute. If you don't want to rent a car or get a cab, be prepared for cafeteria food, although it's not bad it's definitely a scene, and at busy mealtimes it's totally crazy. The Disney All Star Movies Resort Lake Buena Vista was just basically a "motel" with free transport to Disney... really a little disappointing since it's a theme hotel. They did also find our Disney tickets after a day, and gave us a small food credit. Best things: pools are nice, though not heated and it was not that warm during the night, so very cold in the am/pm after the parks. Fun statues of characters all over. Nice little play area for little kids in sand. You can also walk to the nearby all-star resorts and eat there if you want, or use their pool, which might be better (or closer to your room--the music resort cafe was closer to our rooms than our cafe!) Worst: looong walks to cafeteria, cold pools, not that great food

The Disney All Star Movies Resort Lake Buena Vista was great. Very clean and has the disney magic. The hotel is surrounded by larger then life items from Disney movies. The rooms are smaller then other Disney hotels but they are still managable since this is a value resort. I would recommend this hotel for families on a budget who want to stay on property. I would also recommend this hotel for single couples who want a cheaper hotel to stay at during a trip to disney.

We traveled with 2 other couples, one with young children. The hotel staff was very helpful in getting us 3 rooms next to each other. Rooms were nice, could have been a little cleaner, but not that bad. We were in the Love Bug section, so you can't get much farther away from the dining facilities. The dining area offered something for everybody at, what I thought, was a reasonable price. If you are a coffee drinker like I am, it definitely pays to purchase the $13 refillable mug. The Magical Express is really nice. We only had to wait for our luggage at the hotel for about 20 minutes. Just make sure you read the paperwork about returning to the airport. I did not, and was unable to check our luggage at the hotel.

The hotel room was ok for a "value resort". I t could have been cleaner as far as the walls and carpet. Being a Disney vacation, we expected there to be a towel character of some sort at least one night for my granddaughter! We saw some in the windows of other rooms! Small detail but would've been nice... Also the beds were very hard and uncomfortable!

My family just got back from Disney and we had a great time.Upon arrival at All star movies we checked in and received our room keys right away which was a very pleasant suprise as we got there at 11:30 or so in the morning. The front desk was very helpful as was everyone at the resort.Housekeeping did a nice job cleaning every day and always decorated with my son's toys which he loved. The buses stop outside the hotel to take you to all themeparks about every twenty minutes.I thought the food in the cafeteria was fine as did my family I would reccomend buying the refillable mugs so you can save a little on drinks during your stay.I plan on going back in a couple of years and would have no problem staying at any of the all star resorts again.

excellent hotel for the price. Had booked two rooms, they made sure they were adjoining. all the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was wonderful having no luggage to pick up and the airport or to take back to the airport through Disney transportation. Only draw back was that it took 5 hours to get our luggage on arrival, but that was a minor annoyance. Houskeeping was excellent, thoughtful when one of our party was ill and had to stay in bed, friendly and honest. Was a wonderful experience for the 3 and 6 year olds.

Great vacation at the All Star Resort! Our room was exactly what we needed since most of our time was spent in the parks. Transportation wait times were good, remember you might need to stand on some of the park transportation. All the All Star Resorts are connected and we used both the All Star Music and All Star Movies as it was easy to walk back and forth. Magic Express transportation from the airport is excellent, no need to rent a car and spend money on gas!!!!

We knew that most of our time in Orlando would be spent enjoying the parks at Walt Disney World so we were not worried about staying in an overpriced hotel. We were very impressed with the All Star Movies Resort where we stayed. The room is small with two double beds and a small bathroom, large tub however. It was our honeymoon and we had hoped to get a king bed but I guess none were available. However after a long day of trekking through the parks we loved any bed. The pool was absolutely wonderful. We went in the Fantasia themed pool and there was another pool on the premises. The food court was great and fairly inexpensive. I highly recommend buying the souvenir mug for x because drinks get expensive and it is so much better to refill for free. I was very impressed with the bus service from the airport and also to the parks. We really lucked out in that we didn't have long waits for the bus and they were very conscious of the amount of people that were at the All-Star Resorts and would send multiple buses at pick up locations. We were very close to the parks and there isn't anything I would change about our stay. I would definitely stay at this resort again although I am curious about the other All-Star resorts as well. For the price that we paid I can't complain. The staff was helpful and they even got us a signed photo from Mickey and Minnie because it was our honeymoon and Just Married buttons to wear on our stay.

If your looking for a Cheap Place to Stay at WDW this is just it. FYI your better off staying at the ALLStar Sports because your last to get on and off the Shuttles to everything WDW from AllStar Movies. If you pay the extra 12 bucks for the room upgrade all you get is a hotel room that is closer to the shuttle stop not a bigger room.

I stayed at All Star Movies with my sister, niece and son. the rooms are very big, but when you are only there only to sleep, who cares. the room was cleaned every day and we loved the soap and shampoos that were left. the only downside was that we were far from the main building. it was the first time at disney for my sister and niece and they loved the way the hotel has animated features....the dalmations etc. we were pool side and really didn't find it very noisy at night. overall had a great time, we will be staying at disney again. i love the fact that you can buy something at the park and have it shipped to your hotel instead of having to cart it around.
