Extremely understaffed. took forever to check in. Took forever to get lousy food in food court. Cancelled rollaway, since it didn't show up and was assured it was off my bill. received bill last day and rollaway was on it for ALL nights! Front desk told me two different things for bus pick up (magical express to airport).... It was awful. Had to stand in very long lines for unknowledgeable people.

We had a fabulous time in Disney. The resort was nice for the money. We stayed at the Caribbean Resort the last time and the amenities were nicer as well as the rooms, but for a weekend getaway, we thought that All-Star Movies was just fine. The staff was friendly and we had no major problems with our stay. The only complaint I had was the quality of the sheets (made a ton of noise when we moved in bed) and our remote didn't work. The front desk did bring us a new remote when I called within 10 minutes though. Being that we were only going for the weekend and we were taking a 3 year old child, I was pleased with our stay. If you are looking for an inexpensive, on-site Disney property that you plan on only sleeping in (because you are staying at the parks all day), I would highly recommend this resort.

It's very convenient to stay at a Disney property--the transportation is great and all the Disney stuff is on full display so even if you don't get to all the parks, you get the Disney experience. I wish they had had small refrigerators in the room. With a family, you need that. And the rooms were very small but it was a value hotel so...

Overall the hotel was nice for the money. I wished they had invested a little more money in the upkeep of the rooms but they were decent. Like other reviewers said, we saw towel animals in other windows but never received one. My kids were a bit disappointed in that. The food court was nice and the refillable mugs are well worth the money. The busses were overall great, had a couple of crazy drivers though!.. We also found ourselves browsing the hotel gift shop every morning. I would stay here again in a pinch, but next time we go I we are going to try to stay at a resort closer to the Magic Kingdom.

Would recommend and would stay again. Small rooms but we were never in the room. Buses run every 20 minutes and service all 3 all star resorts for the 4 theme parks. Sometimes you have to wait but it is usually quick. The pool is ideal for children and adults. If your little ones do not swim well they have life vests in a storage box, first come first serve. Our room was clean and the staff was most helpful...it was "magical"!

This hotel was perfect for us. i am a single mom and my kids had a blast and our room was not far from the pool, food, and entertainment making it easy for me to keep them happy. It was just like being on the cruise where you just drop your stuff and have fun.

Overall, for the price, this was a good deal. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. Grounds were kept up. Staff was friendly and helpful. Buses to parks and airport were timely and full of information. I had two complaints; one, after I got past the sticker price of the ordinary food, the coffee was horrible and instant, from a machine, with "creamer" as a milk substitute. It's picky, I know, but an important start of my day, when surrounded by the loud din of children. Two: it being a inexpensive hotel, there were tons of teen groups and one of them checked in at 1am in the morning, running around for two hours, banging doors and interupting sleep. Other than that, it was a good experience.

The food was excellent for cafeteria style dining. Food prices were pretty decent. Rooms were clean, but basic and small. No fridge or coffee makers in room. Excellent for staying short-term, but would recommend you stay at another resort that has more space if you have small children and are staying more than a few days - starts to feel a little cramped. Disney buses were quick - didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes each time. If you aren't planning on spending much time in the room, then this is an excellent value that gives you the perks of staying on a Disney resort.

We loved our hotel. The Disney transportation was very convenient and the cleanliness and service of All-Star Movies was unbeatable. We we actually close enough to All-Star Music that we could go there for food/buses too. I'm gladly staying at this hotel again in August 2009.

Just a last-minute vacation with our 2-year-old. When we arrived the room wasn't clean, they lost tickets that I had ordered from an outside service, and the only food available was a huge cafeteria with overpriced cafeteria food. We did learn to like the place, but will definitely check out other hotels, probably in the general orlando area, next time. I'm thinking maybe they have to work harder since they are not "Disney" hotels. Maybe not...who knows! After complaining about the room and the service with the tickets, they did come and clean and folded the towels into animals, and put our daughter's stuffed animal on the bed like it was watching TV, which was cute. If you don't want to rent a car or get a cab, be prepared for cafeteria food, although it's not bad it's definitely a scene, and at busy mealtimes it's totally crazy. This hotel was just basically a "motel" with free transport to Disney... really a little disappointing since it's a theme hotel. They did also find our Disney tickets after a day, and gave us a small food credit. Best things: pools are nice, though not heated and it was not that warm during the night, so very cold in the am/pm after the parks. Fun statues of characters all over. Nice little play area for little kids in sand. You can also walk to the nearby all-star resorts and eat there if you want, or use their pool, which might be better (or closer to your room--the music resort cafe was closer to our rooms than our cafe!) Worst: looong walks to cafeteria, cold pools, not that great food

Although this is one of the cheapest ways to stay on Disney property, I didn't think it was worth it. The rooms were extremely small! The hotel attracts large groups of traveling ball teams. The noise at night was ridiculous--yelling, slamming doors, screaming,etc... We had to call security regarding noise both nights we were there. The pool was nice and the kids were intrigued by the big characters, so it wasn't a total loss! I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

This Disney resort is great for families. The giant icons are fun to see, and the landscaping is pretty throughout. The food court has a variety of choices and the employees are helpful and friendly. If your family is on a budget, this is the best place to go! You can use the Disney Magical Express free transportation to/from the airport, and you don't need a car once you arrive. You may need some patience waiting for the buses, but not needing a car is worth it in my opinion. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The chairs were a little stained and the furniture looked a little worn, but for the price it was fine. The convenience of a Disney resort made up for it. If you get a good deal, you can't go wrong with the Disney resorts.

If your looking for a Cheap Place to Stay at WDW this is just it. FYI your better off staying at the ALLStar Sports because your last to get on and off the Shuttles to everything WDW from AllStar Movies. If you pay the extra 12 bucks for the room upgrade all you get is a hotel room that is closer to the shuttle stop not a bigger room.

This hotel was great. Very clean and has the disney magic. The hotel is surrounded by larger then life items from Disney movies. The rooms are smaller then other Disney hotels but they are still managable since this is a value resort. I would recommend this hotel for families on a budget who want to stay on property. I would also recommend this hotel for single couples who want a cheaper hotel to stay at during a trip to disney.

This was not my first choice of a Disney resort to stay at, but I was traveling with a friend who wanted to stay as cheaply as possible on property. The rooms were definitely inexpensive when compared to others at Disney. For me, the resort had too many cons against it and I doubt I would stay there again. Starting with the hotel itself, it is probably one of the farthest from the Magic Kingdom. The wait for a bus at the resort was never very long, but the wait to get a bus back could be quite long. One night we had to wait for 4 buses to load the others in front of us in line while we watched buses for the other resorts pull away nearly empty. The resort is very cheesy. We stayed in one of the Love Bug buildings which has large VW beetles sticking out of it. Cute and kitschy. I had read that these buildings were the quietest because they are the farthest out, but most nights we endured about an hour of very loud talking, chanting and screaming from the youth groups staying in our area. The standard room was small with two double beds. I was surprised the beds were only double beds, so it may be a tight squeeze for a family of four to stay there. The bathroom area is separated with the shower and toilet in an enclosed room and the sink in the main room. Luckily my daughter is a heavy sleeper, but if you needed to do anything in the sink area there was no way to block the light from the main room. The room also seemed dated and could use an update, ie new carpet, tile, etc. There is no wireless internet access. You can plug into their system through an access point on the single nightstand for around $10 for 24 hours of access. It was too cold to use the pool most days we were there, but it looked very nice and large. Also had a separate toddler splash pool which is a nice detail.

We traveled with 2 other couples, one with young children. The hotel staff was very helpful in getting us 3 rooms next to each other. Rooms were nice, could have been a little cleaner, but not that bad. We were in the Love Bug section, so you can't get much farther away from the dining facilities. The dining area offered something for everybody at, what I thought, was a reasonable price. If you are a coffee drinker like I am, it definitely pays to purchase the $13 refillable mug. The Magical Express is really nice. We only had to wait for our luggage at the hotel for about 20 minutes. Just make sure you read the paperwork about returning to the airport. I did not, and was unable to check our luggage at the hotel.

Very good accommodations. Would choose this one over many of the deluxe. I truly liked it very much.
