A nice place in an high-end residential neighborhood. A little off the beaten track but a metro stop a block and a half away and major bus lines and about a forty minute walk from City center. Service was good, room was nice, street is quiet, and there are quite a few restaurants and shops very close as well as one supermarket about 3 blocks away. Breakfast is simple but good. English-speaking staff members were always available and helpful.

I'm Brazilian and for me it's very important to have a Banco of Brasil agency near the hotel. There are many good restaurants near the hotel too, and a subway station only two blocks to the hotel. It's very nice.

The hotel is in the heart of a modern and clean business and residental area of Santiago. The room was clean and well appointed, although a bit dated. The breakfast had a good selection of fruit and other tasty options. The resturant, however, left a little to be desired. My medium-rare steak was served ice-cold, and when I sent it back, they just about destroyed it. It came back quite well done and the potatoes were reheated and dry. Room service is very expensive, I had a late dinner sent to my room and it was twice as expensive as the menu price for the resturant. I would say one bonus was booking with Hotel Club as I saved a lot of money over booking with the hotel directly. For a hotel that caters to the tourist trade, there were only the front desk staff that could speak English. The laundry and room service staff wouldn't even try to communicate. I was hung-up on 3 times before I finally called the front desk to order room service.

Not located in the centre of Santiago but in the business district. This isn't a problem though because the area is very safe and quiet yet still has bars and restaurants to choose from. The underground service is very good and cheap and the nearest station is just minutes away.

The area is very good, the hotel had a air pump noise when I was there. They could not fix it. If you are not a light sleeper like me, this hotel is okay. Greta area. Thank you

As previous reviewers point out, the hotel is starting to feel slightly dated. However the spacious room/suites are very good value for money at around $80. Courteous staff; a living area with sofa and kitchenette; a decent-sized bath; and good location in a nice area.

The Director El Golf is located in the suburb of El Golf, about 6 or 7 subway stops from the city centre (about 15 mins). El Golf is a clean, pleasant and somewhat affluent area of santiago. Not being in the city centre was no problem as there was plenty to do within the nearby areas as well as the city centre. The front desk staff were pleasant, the room fairly clean, but very spacious. I would recommend this hotel for people who would rather avoid the noise of downtown santiago. Otherwise, I would stay there again if touring santiago just for having a safe and clean base.

Great position, close to subway in quiet, consulate area. Very clean, whilst not ultra modern was a great find. Reccomend to vacation traveller and work travellers. Some great wine shops in area, as well as airline stores and other traveller facilities. Restaurants and bars are in easy 4 minute walks in all directions.

Nice clean hotel. I hot a room on 8th floor, with plenty of space. Nice comfy bed, big bathroom. Location pretty all right, quite close to the metro, just across a bank with good exchange rate. Nearby a pizza hut with good daily menu offer. Free use of business centre (two PCs with internet, and printer). Wifi is, but for charge. Breakfast included, and is containing ham, cheese, several breads, muffins, fresh fruit, yougurt, juice. Would return, if again in Santiago

This is very nice hotel, located in the good part of Santiago, just 100 meters from the excellent subway (15 minutes ride to the city ceneter). Rooms are huge, clean, breakfast is under average, but internet is free.
