Diehl`s Hotel is located on the banks of the River Rhine in Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein and is the very 1st house in the newly designated World Cultural Heritage Site “Middle Rhine Valley”.

Directly opposite lies the famous “Deutsches Eck” (or “German Corner”) where the rivers Rhine and Moselle meet, the basilica St Kastor, the Palace of Koblenz, the beautifully restored Old Town and the departure piers of various sightseeing ships. All of these are just across the Rhine from the hotel.

All our rooms offer shower or bath and WC and are equipped with a hair dryer, beauty mirror, minibar, self-dial telephone, satellite-TV.
There are three modern lifts to take you and your luggage to your rooms in comfort and ease.
The sporty ones may certainly avail themselves of the spacious stair cases.

Four indoor rooms (Deutsches Eck Salon, Terrasse, Panorama) are always seasonably decorated and available to guests. On a nice day you might enjoy to relax outside on the new Rhine Terrace, literally right above the river.
Our restaurant menu offers regional as well as international dishes. A seasonal menu is always added to showcase regional fresh products (i.e. fish, asparagus, game, goose).
The extensive wine list boasts a wide variety of local wines from the Rhine, Moselle and Ahr regions.
The hotel cellars are part of the old castle fortifications which guarantees a constant temperature in summer and in winter.

Shaped like a ship´s hull with a dominant bow and the two beer pumps resembling a capstan the bar with. lamps, chairs and sails that cover the ceiling will give you that ‘cruising feeling’.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.

All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.

A 3 motorway to Dernbacher Dreieck, than follow the A 48 towards Trier to exit Bendorf;
or
A 61 motorway to Koblenzer Kreuz, then follow the A 48 towards Frankfurt to exit Bendorf;
now
the B 42 in direction of Vallendar. continue to Koblenz- Ehrenbreitstein (8 km).
Pass the station (r), after 500m you come to a traffic-light, turn left and after 15 m turn right in direction of Pfaffendorf. Undercross a bridge and immediately turn right into our car park.

Coming from MAINZ/MANNHEIM
A 61- motorway to exit Waldesch, then follow the B 327 towards Koblenz. After crossing the river Rhine take the third exit (B 42) in direction of Neuwied.
After 6 km you reach a traffic-light where you have to drive straight ahead,
After 6km you pass above a road which arrives (left) from a bridge. Change onto the left lane and pass the tunnel entrance. You can see the hotel on your left as you arrive at a traffic-light. Turn right in direction of Pfaffendorf. Undercross a bridge and immediately turn right into our car park.

From the CITY CENTRE
Cross the river Rhine via the Pfaffendorfer Bridge (stay at the right hand lane). Turn right immediately after the bridge (attention: traffic-light)onto a downhill road which leads into a U-bend. Follow the bend. You will drive under two bridges and pass a pedestrian crossing. 300m further the road will turn right under a bridge. Leave the road and continue straight on into our car park.

Coming from Cologne or Frankfurt
A3 motorway to Dernbacher Dreieck, than follow the A 48 towards Trier exit Bendorf or A61 motorway to Koblenzer Kreuz, then follow the A48 towards Frankfurt, exit Bendorf,
now the B42 in direction of Vallendar, continue to Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein (8 km). Pass the station (r) after 500 m you pass underneath a pedestrian bridge, follow the main road through roadworks to a small roundabout. Keep straight ahead across it in direction Pfaffendorf.
Under a bridge and immediately turn into our parking area.

From the City centre
Cross the rhine river via the Pfaffendorfer Bridge (stay at the right hand lane) Turn right immediately after the bridge (attention traffic light) onto a downhill road which leads into a U-bend.
