The Die Swaene sits right on a romantic canal in Bruges, in the center of the historic district. The 30 guestrooms at the Die Swaene are individually decorated with textiles and furnishings reminiscent of the period. Each includes a phone, minibar, private bath with toiletries, satellite TV, and hairdryer.

Most of this small luxurious three story Die Swaene dates back to the 15th century. The dining room is in an old meeting room dating to the late 1700s with original painted ceilings and columns. There is a complete fitness center and spa. The onsite restaurant is also located in one of the original rooms, giving it a romantic calming ambience. Furnishings are all antique replicas of the period. There is a concierge, free tours, parking, and afternoon tea.
