The best thing was the Strip Mall next door with a convenience store, Asian restaurants and bakery. The room was tiny and rundown, the lock did not work, the court and city view was actually a strip mall. Parking lot. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Having a restaurant and bar which where empty make it 4 star? It is an old hotel that has been updated. The outside and lobby are okay, but the rooms are like a cheap motel. It was tiny, rundown, and dated. It says 2 King size beds, but they only have Queen and single. The lock did not work. The best thing was the Strip Mall next door. It had a convenience store, bakery, liquor store and several Asian restaurants. Oh, it did have free parking!

Has free parking and is a 10 minute walk to Southbank. Nice quiet boutique-type hotel. Bed was firm comfortable. A good getaway.

Excellent hotel and good value. Beds were EXTREMELY comfortable, staff very helpful. The hot food for breakfast at the buffet was average and re-stocking of food that ran out very slow but plenty of other options re cereal, fruit and toast - this would not be a deal-breaker for me and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend the hotel.

Nice hotel in a good location. Shops, food and pubs all very close by. Good service generally although breakfast staff were below par.

As I had a meeting at the Mater Hospital the location was conveniently just across the road. The Southbank railway station, accessed direct from the airport was only 10 minutes walking distance.

Nice walk to Southbank and has a convenince store next door for late night snacks. Rooms were quiet and bed was above average for a hotel, which means hard but still able to sleep.

Complimentary gym, bath house and carpark was good. Breakfast was also good. Accomodation is little outdated but it was clean and staff were helpful. The location of the hotel is only bus ride away to the city. I would recommend to stay here again.

The Apolo Spa is a great relax and free to guests. They have seperate womens and mens baths, sauna and pools.

We were very impressed on arrival to be upgraded free to a one bedroom suite. The hotel restaurant is excellent. The room facilties were good and everything very clean. The bed was pretty good too, not too soft and not too hard. We were thrilled to find a spa in our room too. We intend to stay here on our infrequent stays in Brisbane in the future.

this is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel and both times we were very pleased with the friendly service. We also enjoyed dining in the restaurant where there was very good vegetarian cuisine. All the staff were very courteous. We shall visit this hotel next time we are in Brisbane.
