the room was a bit cold and air conditioning didnt warm it up as much as we wanted too. The rest was really good. Its a nice small hotel and its near town/ The room was big but i was staying with my partner and it had 2 siongle beds pushed together, which we didnt like,. The cleaners did a great job of tidyin up the room every morning.I would advice you to go

The hotel was in a fantastic location within easy reach of the city (10 minutes on 133 bus) . The staff were extremley friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel itself was clean and modern, the room was equally as excellent. An ideal location for a weekend break. Will definitley be returning and highly recommending to friends and family. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

First of all there was one man in the entier hotel and he did not have a good command of the english language. we could not communicate properly when I first arrived though he tried to be very helpful. I had a few issues on arrival which were not resolved due to the lack of communication. There were no towels in the bathroom I called reception and the gentleman on receoption brought them, there was no soap and he brought it, the AC was not working and he tried to fix it at 0100 in the morning. The shower did not work how it should and he tried to fix it. I asked for a cup of tea he offered to make it. In the end I felt very sorry for him and stopped asking for help. All the time there was no one at reception and no manager to take control. My husband tried to call me and he could not use the switchboard to transfer the call when he did find out how to use it he transferred my husband to someone else. The 4 attempt I did manage to speak to my husband. The hotel has only been opened two weeks may be it will get better. Overall the man on reception did tried to do his best I just think it very unfair to have one person running the hotel especially when he did not speak english properly.

Nice hotel, very tastefully decorated. Well situated for public transport links (tram stop at end of road).

Very lovely hotel only a 10-minute bus ride from the town centre of Prague. The rooms were spacious, it all looked completely new or refurbished, and the continental breakfast buffet was lovely. Only the fact that there were adult Pay-TV movies in the room annoyed me personally, because I think this should not be offered in hotels at all (men can go elsewhere). Unfortunately it's a men's world!

The hotel was very modern and the room immaculate. Reception were very helpful in how to use the public transport and get to the main city. Great location 5 minute walk to tram line and 5 mins on tram into Wenscelas Square

Nice little hotel, brand new and linked to the city centre and main touristic area by bus 133 which runs regularly every day. Breakfast was not the best, but the room was great!

The Design Merrion Hotel is one of Pragues newest Hotels. Location of hotel was approx 15 mins by public transport to centre of Pragues \"old town square\". Don't let this put you off however because a bus ran every 10 to 15 mins from 8am to 8 pm, and 3 times per hour from 8pm till mid-night. We were given a map of Prague as soon as we arrived at the Hotel (cherish it because it was a god send to us,showing bus, tram and metro lines.\" Food quality half British half continental in style and breakfast was held in a neat conservatory to the rear of the Hotel every morning 7-10am. Hotel clean, surrounding area was quiet, scenary bland, but then again we only really slept at the Hotel and spent most of our time sight seeing.Prague itself was absolutely geogeous, well worth a visit,3/4 days is enough time to discover all the sights ( note that didn't include the museums) One last tip if you are staying 3 days, get a 3 day public transport ticket from one of the many metro stations. It entitles you to travel by tram, bus + underground unlimited for approx £5,bargain and a good way to see the city.

Excellent, top - class standard. Very similar to high German standards, especially the breakfast. Reasonably handy for public transport into town centre.

This is a brilliant gem of an hotel, with a very modern design that deserves its name. A very small place, juste about 20 rooms. The area is not central, but tue surroundings are extremely quiet. Extremely good value for money. I really loved it.

Looks like brand new excellent! Funny thing though they don't tell you the time of breakfast, when I asked they said when the cook gets up.....I requested breakfast for around 7am arrived at 7.20am (didn't rush because of the first statement) to be comfronted by a very irrate cook who had got up early for my 7am breakfast.
