Located in the old Jewish Quarter Josefov the Hotel Josef is housed in a building, which serves as a relaxing counterpoint to Prague's active, urban lifestyle. Designed around a peaceful landscaped courtyard, the hotel offers the visitor a choice of spacious and immaculate rooms in the heart of the city. While in a quiet part of the center near municipal, cultural and financial buildings, the hotel is a 5 minute walk from Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square and Powder Tower, while only 14 km from Ruzyne Airport, 1 km from the train station, and 400 m from the metro stop at Namesti Republiky. All rooms are soundproof, air-conditioned and feature stonewalled bathrooms with a tub, robe and slippers. In addition, an ISDN data port, DVD player, and safe are available. Enjoy breakfast in the hotel restaurant with a garden terrace, or take refreshments at the 24-hour bar. What are your breakfast options?: In our hotel, we have a breakfast daily from 6:30am till 11:30am. During the weekends, the breakfast finishes at 12:30pm. It is a large buffet with selection of fresh fruit, delicious cakes, cereals, yogurts, different kinds of cheeses, ham and big offer of the breads. You can find there also a large selection of warm cuisine like bacon, sausage, eggs etc.

Our breakfast also consists of a la carte menu which is different for each day. They usually serve some sweet dishes like pancakes and there is also drink of the day and some main course. The price for breakfast is 500 CZK/20 Eur, but if you book a room directly with us, the breakfast is already included in your rate.
Where can we dine?: We do not have restaurant for lunch or dinner at the hotel. We provide room service and we also have a lobby bar where you can order a dish from our menu. The price for a main course is around 200CZK/.

We have couple of nice restaurants around. You can find international, typical Czech, vegetarian, Argentinean, Italian or sushi place very nearby. The price range is very flexible. There are nice and good quality places for a lower price but you can also find some fancy and well designed restaurants in Prague.
What can I do nearby?: Our hotel is located in the very heart of the city. Basically majority of the sightseeing points are in walking distance from our hotel. For example Old Town Square with famous astronomical clock is 5 minutes’ walk from us. The Charles Bridge is approximately 10 minutes far from the hotel. Jewish town with 6 synagogues and Jewish cemetery is also like 5 minutes’ walk from here. You can also walk from here up to the Prague Castle but it would take you approximately 40 minutes. If you mind walking, you can easily use public transport as well.

If you like shopping, we can highly recommend you a shopping center called Palladium which is just behind the corner. There are also some galleries or cinemas in walking distance.
