We thought it was great value for money..facilities were excellent, the rooms offered enough space & catered for all our requirements. The service was flexible & kind. If we go to Alice Spring we will definitely return to Desert Palms Resort Alice Springs.

Room was a bit tired looking and hadn't been cleaned properly - dirty finger marks on kitchen tops/oven etc, bedspread had stains on and smelled fusty, room smelled a bit damp. Service was nice though, they were very friendly!

Further from the centre than expected but nice cabins in lovely grounds.

20 minutes walk to town (40degrees heat), but it has a swimming pool. The cabins are average. Its a fraction of the cost of staying at Ayers Rock and you can travel there on a day trip tour(though 500 kms each way) and still save money.

I would recommend Desert Palms Resort Alice Springs to any traveller seeking good service, good facilities, and in close proximity to the Casino and town centre and all for a very low price compared to other hotels/motels in Alice Springs. I will certainly stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay. The facilities were well-priced and more than adequate to our needs. The absence of restaurant facilities suited us. We were happy to have basic kitchen facilities in the unit as we prefer to get our own breakfast. The major problem for us was that the WiFi didn't work with our Macintosh laptops and no one at the hotel was able to solve the problem. (The very happy and very helpful woman on the desk tried hard but couldn't get their technician to attend.) We were able to connect without problems through WiFi at an internet cafe.

Rooms reasonable but crowded with bunk-beds. As the room was booked months earlier and for only 2 people you dont need sleeping requirements for 5 people

Very happy with the free courtesy bus from Airport and quite happy to pay small fee for trip back to Airport. Staff at Desert Palms Resort very pleasant and informative with information. Holiday chalets and surrounding facilities re pool and laundry excellent. Just a 20 minute walk from CBD - very easy to access. Price for Resort very affordable and we met some great people staying there.

We had quite complicated reservations given that we were staying at Desert Palms on 3 separate occasions with a few days break in between. When we arrived everything was correctly set up and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was very convenient to be able to store some baggage at the Resort whilst we were at the Rock and elsewhere. All in all - we had an excellent time.

Carpets VERY dirty and wooden deck needs replacing - everyone in our party got splinters in our feet from it.

While reasonable for the cost we were disappointed that basic things like tissues and face washers were not available. Also we are capable of tidying our room but service advertised was not provided during our two night stay. Bathhroom set up is rather inconvenient.
