Minor complaint - the TV remote did not work (I did not have time to call to have the staff fix it). Also, the ottoman and overstuffed chair were slightly grungy, but definitely not in the too gross to touch category! Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant food and service were very good. Room service was also quite good, but not available very late night hours - if that is important to you.

We have stayed at the Delta Quebec, (nicer rooms), The Delta in Downtown Montreal (gorgeous public areas), but NO ONE can better the staff at the Vancouver Delta Suites !! Ok, it's not in a great location, and the rooms need updating, although the bathrooms were modern and spotless, but it's the people! It starts when you phone reservations and get connected to X, whose infectious positive personality compels you to make a booking, is affirmed by the door/valet staff who are professional and casual, adapting to the client, the desk staff who will give you a delicious cookie, if you are good and even the housekeeping staff, who are very helpful. There are no vending machines, which is weird, a basic lounge and a restaurant. Our experience in the restaurant was less than satisfactory. Burgers that were far from cooked, and seafood that was far from fresh.... BUT...the waiter, very courteous and professional, dealt with our issues. This hotel does not employ people, they emply stars!! If they screw up, they don't make excuses, they deal with it, they fix it, and above all, they make sure that the customer is looked after. Yeah, downtown Vancouver is a little bit seedy, but, I'll stay there again because of the warm and friendly feeling , the genuine caring that I get from the people.

Rooms were large, beds and bedding were above average. Great downtown location. Parking fees were ridiculous, (25). Try garage directly behind hotel, you can park for 10.

Price was great! I travel with my research partner and we loved that there was a Starbucks right in front of the hotel. The people were really nice and the room was clean. The beds were so comfortable I think it was the best sleep I've gotten in a long time. I highly recommend the hotel. The building is maintained nicely. It looks new and fresh.

Staff was very friendly and the room is very nice. The closet room had snowballs of dirt and we had issues with the iron but the staff took care of the issue. I would recommend this hotel, staff is very friendly, location is great, easy access to bus and cabs.

We were told this was an upscale hotel in a neighborhood were we could walk around safely. Wrong! The hotel is right next to skid row. We were going back to the hotel and it seemed we were in a scene from "Escape From New York". The police grabbed a guy right next to our car with their guns out! My wife was absolutely freaked out. Thank God my kids were asleep. Also, the rooms are very small and awkward. This hotel is not for families.

The service was wonderful in every way! My family and I were treated like royalty there. We will be returning there the next time we go to vancouver.

Helpful staff. It was not made clear that beverages did not include alcohol which we had to pay for. Great room for the price which included breakfast good location to bus/train station.

Our family of 5 stayed comfortably in this hotel. Service was above and beyond. Smiling faces, courteous and accommadating. The only drawback was the walk through a creepy corridor to get to the pool. Once there, very nice.

The staff upgraded me for free to the 20th floor and she was really friendly. Also, the suites are super clean with excellent views of Vancouver and everything was so perfect! well that's in the hotel, the parking was a problem...they share a parking garage with Simon Fraser University so the staff has to physically go out of the hotel to open the gates to the parking garage. So it was kind of annoying to call the hotel staff every time. Other than, everything was great. I totally recommend this to anyone reading this review.

Clean corner roomy, air, bright, many windows. Low floor, even though the hotel was high up, they didn't agree to give us a room on the upper floor -- which would have been much better. nice room, make sure you request the corner room with windows all around.

Room size was nice. Air conditioning did not cool the room at all. The sheets were scratchy. Bed was rock hard.

Very big room for price. No pool or hot tub also $20 parking. Great hotel, very clean rooms and super comfortable beds. Not to far from Robson so if you like walking it is like 10 minutes or so away from great shopping. Great deal for the price. Night before booked on bid your own price deal so for an amazing price it exceeded our expectations. And they give you 2 free gourmet cookies after you check in. Although parking was $20 a night.

The room was very spacious and it was met with five star service and cleanliness. Parking was a pain, we had to park our rental car across the street in a garage, unsafe! From the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted by a clerk at the front desk who was polite and very informative to us tourists. The rooms were amazing, it felt more like a little apartment, not a hotel. Definitely a home away from home.

Location was excellent, bed was comfortable. Charging for slow internet. Staff was friendly. I don't know what other business travelers do that need to use their laptop computers. I spent 45 minutes trying to get online to my web pages with no success. The front desk staff told me that no one has complained about this. But down at Blenz Coffee shop down the street, they told me there that they get a lot of Delta guests.

It is convinces / walking distance to some places. I have to use valet, no parking garage / no swimming pool.
