The location is convenient, just cross over the bridge. Though, it doesn't seem safe to walk back to the hotel at night. The garage is very clean, bright, and have plenty of spaces. The room is clean, but definitely not a 4* bed, TV, nor room size quality. The hotel lobby and restaurant have an unbeatable view of the inner harbor. Perhaps, that's the reason that the hotel got its 4* from?

The Delta was the perfect choice for a weekend escape. Friendly staff, perfect location, and the dining room had a beautiful harbor view. Would highly recommend.

Very clean and attractive, in a good location. The room we had was directely over valet, so it didn't feel very private. I enjoyed it very much. My only issue was that the room was over the valet area, so it wasn't as private as I would have liked. The hotel has a beautiful view of Victoria and they put us in a room that was not facing the water. We didn't pay for a room that faced the water, so no big deal. However, they were not crowded - I think it would have been smarter on their part to have upgraded us, if they had I would always use their hotel in the future.

We stayed on the signature club floor, and the view was spectacular of the inner harbor and downtown. The staff was very helpful and professional, the room was very clean, bed was very comfortable, it's close to so many amenities and restaurants. Both my husband and I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has clean, comfortable rooms, excellent beds, an extremely helpful staff, and wonderful location on the harbor. We would recommend this hotel. The only things missing would be a reasonably priced restaurant at the hotel, and grocery store nearby If walking is not an issue for you or if you have a car, you can easily find both of those amenities by walking across a very short bridge--all of the harbor restaurants, stores and other conveniences are located in the vacinity. We enjoyed walking around the city, the nearby parks and around the nature walk. The only public transportation we needed was on the day of visiting the spectacular garden a few miles out of Victoria. We stayed for four nights and loved our experience. We were able to print our boarding passes the night prior to leaving, which was convenient, and the hotel made arrangements for the air shuttle to take us to the airport for */person, which is less expensive than taxi fare would have been. They provided our 3:20 AM wake-up call, as well.

Once we arrived, we chose to upgrade to a full harbor view room. It was definitely worth the price of upgrading. The view was breathtaking. Absolutely the best way to end our vacation on Vancouver Island. As part of our trip, my girlfriend and I decided to do wine tastings on the island and finally discovered one winery we loved. It was a joy to find one of the best wines on Delta's wine list from this winery. It truly was the BEST way to end this adventurous vacation.

We liked the hotel, but probably stay elseware on our return to Victoria.I do think that you should offer two price ranges depending on the location of the room.

Nice gym, good location but not in the heart of town. No WiFi and retro TV. Clean, nice gym & pool/spa area.

Brilliant hotel, smart, comfortable, great for families and businessmen. Excellent staff and facilities. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We didn't have a view of the inner harbor, however that didn't matter we had a nice view of the outer harbor. We spent a lovely day relaxing outside of the pool watching and listening to all the activities going on in the very busy harbor. The room was clean and nice, comfortable bed.

The room itself was very nice. The staff (particularly the concierge, and the two guys doing shuttle runs and valet) were very helpful. The area was nice and within walking distance of everything. However, out of all of the downtown hotels, this one's location is probably the least convenient. Maybe a 5 minute walk to get to downtown.

Our room overlooked the Harbor and was quiet - great bed. The wallpaper was coming off in both the bathroom and bedroom area - made it appear like a lesser property. Check in was easy and pleasant. Concierge was helpful without being stuffy. Loved the view from our top floor room over the water. It was romantic and the room was quiet with a very comfortable king sized bed. We were not pleased with the food choices, quality or service at breakfast on our day of departure. However, I would not hesitate to stay at a Delta property in the future.

A great choice for Victoria. Wonderful value. Just off the beaten track so convenient yet more peaceful.

The room was excellent. Everything was like new which in a tourist location is a pleasant surprise. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in. Very friendly staff. They are comitted to recycling with a special bin in the room. The location is a little out of the way but there are taxi's and water taxi's to get to the center of town which is just across a small bay.

The staff. The location was fantastic. The exterior was a lovely sight from the ferry. A more accommodating and polite staff can not be found. We were very pleased the entire hotel is non-smoking! The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious! Everything was perfect!

We discovered the little water taxis that took us over to the hotel, so used them when arriving and leaving and carrying our luggage. We loved the location looking out over the water and back at the harbor, We loved the walking/running path. We loved just sitting in the cafe and watching the sea planes landing. The hotel room was lovely, clean and spacious. We did not have a view over the water, but we could leave our room and sit in chairs on the balcony and have a great view. We found the breakfast in the cafe very delicious. The help was very pleasant and friendly, both in the cafe and at the front desk. We plan to come back to the hotel and stay again soon and spend a few days biking and walking and just enjoying the location. We almost booked a big fancy hotel directly on the street in the center of the harbor...and were so happy we did not. The traffic at this time of year is so busy and being directly on the inner harbor seems as if it would be convenient but noisy. I don't know if that is the case, but being across the harbor without a major street running pass the front door, being within walking distance of the town and having the water taxis sold us on the Delta. When I think of the Delta I think of comfort, relaxation and gracious living...a perfect place to enjoy a vacation. (I wished had had more time to visit the spa.)

The room was great and the beds were very comfortable. The coffee area in our room was not very clean and the menu options were limited. It had really nice beds, pillows and decor. We will stay there next time we go to Victoria. 4 star for sure!

Great view, great gym, pool, incredible location, large rooms, comfortable bed, wonderful linen. Poor service in the bar--ignored +++ on two occasions, windows to the harbor need to be washed, noisy rooms closing early in the am due to bus tour. Incredible location, great views, handy to downtown Victoria. Rooms are large, clean and up to date, with extra pillows and new linens.
