Hotel was old andneed update.

This is a great choice for us. The premium room we stayed in was very nice and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The breakfast/brunch buffet offered in the hotel restaurant had a nice variety and was reasonably priced that we ate there every morning during our stay. We were especially pleased with the price we got using travel website. The only negative is that it takes about 50 minutes by public transit or about 35 minutes by car if the traffic is not too bad. If you are new to the city is may be better to choose a downtown hotel so that you don't have to worry about long commutes.

The Food was good. Construction was being done which I was told and it was very disrupting. I had to pay for the Internet. The hair dryer was not working well. The noise was still disrupting and annoying. The water was not running well it was cold had to call the front desk to have someone come up and look at it. The hair dryer in the room was not working well no heat was hardly coming out. The front desk person when checking in did not advise me of the construction on the roof was in process since February. I told her I was not impress with the overall stay. I will not stay there again.

The first night was bad, the hotel was apparently booked the day we checked in, so we were put in a room with a King size bed that smelt like cigarette for a non-smoking hotel which was bad for our allegies. The room was right by the pool area, and they allowed people to start swimming at 8:00am. The next day, we were moved to a much better, bigger room, and we had the view of the 401 Freeway. The hotel is about 25 miles from Pearson Int'l airport, it is nowhere close to any restaurants or shopping area, so this would probably be an ok venue if you are in town for business in the Scarborough area. The hotel offered buffet breakfast , which was good except they serve the same thing everyday. Also, they charged $$ for parking each day, eventhough you are a guest in the hotel, which I was not told when I've checked in, luckily I did not have a car in the property. Room Service was really expensive, they've charged $ for a glass of orange juice, $ for a pot of coffee, & they charge for delivery too. So, if you are on a budget, I would shy away from even thinking about getting room service. There were vending machines on the even floors, and the machines were empty the entire 10 days of our stay. I would suggest, that someone should be assign to check on the vending machine daily. The staff were mostly courteous & helpful, except for one girl. She was not pleasant to deal at all, she does not have the right attitude working in the front desk. The managers were great, they were attentive & helpful. But I will probably try a different hotel next time.

Excellent service personnel, put customer service as top priority. Excellent accommodations, staff was excellent and customer service was wonderful.

The Hotel is right beside the 401 Freeway, which is about 30minutes away from the airport. You do not have much choice for restaurants or places to eat in the area, it's not close to any shopping center either. If you are on a budget, don't even think about room service because it's expensive. If you have a car in the premises you have to pay for parking, which for me luckily I did not have. They offer buffet breakfast in one of the restaurants on site, but the menu was the same everyday. They have a nice pool area, but that's about it. Most of the staff members were nice & accomodating, except for one girl named Samantha, who shouldn't really be assign in the front desk, in my opinion, she was not pleasant to deal with. This would be a good place to stay if you are in town for business & not on vacation. They don't even offer shuttle service anywhere, which makes it difficult if you do not have a car. The vending machine that they have on even floors were empty the whole time of my stay which was 10days, you can't even get a soda or water that won't cost you an arm & a leg. Over all, it wasn't that bad of an experience, but If I decide to visit Toronto again, I will definitely try a different hotel, I will not consider coming back.

The hotel room was cracked sink, old plywood desk. Standard room in old section maybe a two star level at best. Lived near hotel since built & various name changes.

"They provided a squash court for the kids to play mini sticks! Only down side, too expensive to eat as a group at the hotel, made it hard to get the team/parents together during the weekend."

Clean and very comfortable beds! Although we didn't have time to use the pool, I didn't like the openness of it. Liked the hotel very much, but it's paid parking that I didn't expect.

I love this hotel. I would never book anywhere else.

Clean rooms, lots of fun for the kids. Staff was rude. Great hotel for family travelers. It was full of hockey teams the weekend we were there. Everyone enjoyed the pool, waterside and hot tub.

"I stayed at the Delta East for almost 2 weeks and couldn't have been happier. The service is outstanding, I encountered dozens of employees and never found anyone less than perfectly nice & professional. There are 3 outstanding on-site restaurants: a sports bar, a terrace restaurant with buffets, and a rooftop Japanese sushi/steak place; and Pizza Hut available as room service! The indoor pool and gym are incredible; the waterslide is so cool for kids of all ages; the layout of the place has to be seen to be believed!"

The indoor pool and environment in the hotel. The lack of professionalism and service and unlike any other hotel experience I have experienced. Of all the hotels in Toronto, in terms of staff it was the worst. The facilities are nice and plenty of space to walk around but we spend our money on hotel services as well!

"The kids loved this hotel. The indoor pool has a great waterslide. The hotel was clean and close to downtown. It's very close to the Museum of Science. Also, there is town called Unionville nearby that has great restaurants and entertainment. "

Good fitness center and pool. Breakfast and internet connection not included in the price. Expensive parking. This hotel is ideal if you are visiting the area for business. It also has a nice fitness center and pool with a water slide that is ideal for kids. Please note though that the Internet connection, breakfast and parking are all extra and they are expensive, so your bill will come out a good $40-$50 more expensive than if you stay at a hotel where all of these are included.

There are better hotels in the area for a comparape price.

Liked their water slide and pool. I disliked the location of my room and hated the ear peircing noise in my room from the hotel renovation/stress test. The hotel gave me a room in a bad location and they did not change it for my second and third nights despite my repeated requests. My room was subjected to extreme vibration and noise from the stress tests and renovation as per hotel manager. This vibrataion and noise woke me up and the hotel manager did not move me to another room despite my request.

"The service was amazing, there was nothing that I could have asked for that wasn't taken care of. Best Hotel I have stayed at in a long time!"

Quality of rooms. Non-smoking. Cold rooms. Expensive restaurants, parking and internet.

Location was great, close to lots, close to major highway. The elevators were slow and old, hot tub was not working. This was a great hotel, very close to large shopping area, Lots of restaurants on site as well as close by.
