As we stayed only for one night we only had breakfast and it was great, a variety of stuff. It was also relatively easy to find, as we were given directions and the location of the hotel is perfect.

I had a weekend to spend in Florence between two weeks of work. I was there with 3 other guys in my company. The hotel is located a block from the river, so you always have a good reference to get back home should your nights extend well into the evening hours. You can easily walk to many historical places, restaurants and bars, and that is good because valet parking requires 20 minutes to retrieve your car from the remote lot. I stayed on the 3rd floor. The rooms are standard American size, clean and basically quiet. The temps were in the low 60s outside, so I can't comment on the air conditioning. For English speaking people, I would recommend Ristorante Buca Mario and JJs bar. If you plan to do some wine tasing in the region, plan on 3 hours to get to Monticeto, otherwise you'll miss your lunch reservations. De La Ville is a nice hotel in a good location and I would stay there again, with my family.

L'hotel è all'altezza di quanto promesso. Elegante, accogliente, silenzioso. Ottima la colazione ed il servizio. Situato nel cuore della città, è ad un passo dai principali monumenti e dai migliori negozi. Si trova in una via molto tranquilla (anche di notte).

Close to all tourist attractions. Staff very helpful, friendly and bi lingual. The lobby very well presented. The room was quite large. We stayed 4 days.

Despite a confirmed reservation for a quad suite, when I arrived at the property this accomodation was not available. The clerk did not really have an explanation and put my family in 2 junior suites that were not connected. After applying a little pressure they came up with the suite for the second night. The suite, a duplex, was quite spacious and nicely decorated. As it was in the back of the hotel, there was some street noise and the large windows featured opaque glass.

nice hotel, good location to all sights city centre and handy to station also; very nice barman; rooms a bit small and dark, problems with internet in room but staff were helpful, breakfasts good. quite ok overall, as long as you werent spending too many hours in your room.

Nice hotel, best situated near all the touristic attractions and shops. Spaceful and tastfully decorated rooms, very nice and big bathroom. Very clean. But take attention, the good rooms are on the upper floors with enough light and space. Downstairs I wouldn't stay one night. I loved the De La Ville Hotel Florence for some days, would take it again for my next visit to Florence.

Dear future travlers, this is a great hotel if you are looking for something in the center of the things you want to see. The staff provided us with great detailed maps and places we shouldn't miss during our stay. We were there for 4 nights. We felt we could have stayed 4 weeks to see it all the staff recomended. We would recomend the De La Ville Hotel Florence to anyone visiting Florence because everything is so close and the rooms are so spacious. The only thing was the rate we were qouted was alot lower than the price at the end. I'm still wondering about that! Thanks for your time Laura VanMeel

Plus points : Excellent location, efficient reception, friendly barman. Negatives : the aircon didn't work (entire 3rd floor was too hot in November!), and it was very noisy with the window open

Hello, we enjoyed a short vacation in De la Ville verry much. The Junior Suite is quite big and the bathroom up-to-date standard. The interrior is done in the classik Italian style an therefore verry nice and charming. The location is verry good, everything you need is within walking distance. In the same steet you will find any of the top Italian & worlds Fashion designers. The staff is verry friendly as well - so I counld not find anything I dislike. AAAA****

The public area on the ground floor was being renovated when we were there, however, it did not interfere with our stay. The room was nice and large. The staff was good and helpful. The concierge was very reliable in recommending good restaurants. We were impressed with the overall quality of services.
