Hotel De FranceGood hotel slightly outside the main part of St Helier, lovely terrace and nice rooms with good food at the Aroma bar/cafe.

Very Good ValueThis is the second time I have stayed at this Hotel, driven by my company reducing the amount available to spend on accomodation I was suitably impressed on the last occasion and this time was no different. It's a pity it's a little out of town but a very good hotel, well appointed with good clean rooms & comfortable beds, a more than adequate breakfast and friendly, helpful & welcoming staff. The pool area is an added bonus!

Good value hotelDidn't expect it to turn out to be a five star hotel. Good staff. Reasonable phone out rates. Good parking facilities. Didn't use swiming pool, but I am sure it is good.Only thing they miss is not having a half-board option. I was hoping to ake my family next time on a holiday, but with no half-board, have changed my decision.

Nice Hotel - Small RoomMy first time at this hotel and overall it was good, £75 pn for a single room but I soon found out why it was so cheap. The room was clean and modern but to say it was small was an understatement. I think it was a converted cupboard but it was only one night so I could cope. The spa is absoltely excellent. My main gripe is the service at Cafe Aroma, I went for dinner and was shown to my table outside and I ordered a drink, after 25min I had to go inside to the bar to remend them and then the waitress spilt it all over my paper. I had to wait a further 15 mins for a menu and eventually got my food over an hour after I sat down. However, that aside, I would definately stay there again.

my only comment on this excellent hotel, is that the poor quality of the loo roll, it didn't fit with the excellence at the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay in "off season" the staff were helpful and even organised some laundry when this facility wasn't normally offered. I'd hope to stay again as long as the price remains affordable!

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It represented incredible value for money and the staff were just the sweetest people I have ever come across in a hotel.

lovely hotel. really friendly staff.a fair walk in to town, cost £4.50 for a taxi down to the resturant area. but easy walk home!spa and gym really nice.Food very a al carte! expensive and small, but tasted great!

The hotel was easy to find with free covered parking and a warm greeting on arrival. The single room was spacious with a trouser press and hair dryer included. There was a choice of two restaurants, one expensive and the other even more so, however the quality of the food more than made up for the cost. The gym was fully equipped though I did not use the spa facilities provided t the hotel. Above all, the genuine staff friendliness and attention was most appreciated.

My only comment would be that the single room was very small, bathroom was of a good size but the bedroom area offered little in the way of work space or room to store a small suitcase.

The communal areas of the hotel were excellent, with very a superb pool and spar facilities. The staff were helpful and friendly. The quality of food was poor value; while the breakfast had an extensive choice the quality of ingredients was poor. The food in the restuarants was well presented but had little flavourand offered poor value compared to similar priced restaurants in town. The room's were clean and adequatley furnished, we had an even numbered room which had a sea facing view. The double bed was very small, we could just about sleep side to side and we're 5 9' and 5 2' respectively of average build, larger people will have difficulty.

My room was OK but entirely without character. The bars and restaurants are confusing in number and also characterless. Saffron, a new restaurant had just opened; the menu was Indian based but very odd and largely unsuccessful. The gardens and terrace area are beautiful. It's a strange experience to stay here on your own!
