We stayed at the hotel for four nights. The rooms are not big, but they don't need to be. They were plenty big for our needs. The hotel was a little out of the way, but the Rome Metro station was nearby. It did seem a little long when coming back after a day of sightseeing. It could also be a good taxi ride after the metro stops running. There are markets and restaurants in the neighborhood. Overall the staf was great. Although, the biggest complaint was the desk clerk who tried to make out with a female friend when she tried to get her room key. It was a good place to stay on a budget but females may need to beware.

Great hotel, in a quiet side street but very close to metro line 2 (Rome stop). Rooms were small but clean. Excellent value for money and easy to get to all Paris attractions from the hotel.

We chose this hotel for it's location & competitive price. The hotel was easy to find - just a short walk from the Metro station (Rome). We received a friendly welcome & found our room to be clean with en suite shower room & wc, TV & even a mini safe. The room itself was quite small but was fine to use as a base & a perfect location to explore Paris - on foot or by the wonderful public transport system. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would love to return someday.

We were satisfied with the Hotel Cabourg. The location was very handy to the Metro, which was important to us. The room was very small, but this is Europe. The staff was helpful. We would use this hotel again.

The hotel was much more than we expected and litterally 50mt from the undergound station! The room was a little small, but clean and the staff was friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was not included in the price, but well worth it! We had a great time and hope to be back some time to Paris and to this hotel soon!

The hotel is situated nicely between two metro stops which made it easy to get back to after a long day of sightseeing. Clean and with a fan that made the warm evenings easier to bear with, this hotel was one of the best we stayed at on our budget tour through France and Italy. We're already planning another trip back with family and we'll be staying here because it has all the amenities you need. Just beware of the man eating lift doors. If you push the floor button before everyone is in, the door will try to crush you! None of that safety mechanism stuff! :) Overall a very nice place to stay while in Paris!

We stayed for two nights and the hotel was close to metro and within walking distance from montmartre. Very good value for money. Small, but nice hotel. 24h service was excellent.

Encountered bed bugs in room, which caused a bad reaction and had to cut stay short. Disappointing, but staff responded reasonably. Would pay extra for better hotel next time.

Hotel was lovely and clean. Rooms not soundproof as stated on web-site but our stay there was wonderful. It was very handy having the Metro so close as the main attractions of Paris were quite a distance from hotel. I would recommend it to friends and I would certainly stay there again

First I would like to give a special thank you to the staff. They were very kind and helpful. The hotel is small, but it has all you need, a nice clean bed to sleep in, A clean restroom, your basic tv. in the lounge you can use the internet For a small fee. We diceded to use the bus for our travel around the city I bought a 2 day all day pass was around 9euros, per person. They have easy maps at the bus stop’s that tell’s you what atractions they stop at. Also if you feel better taking the metro is right close by. Well the price was great, and I would be pleased to stay there again.

The Hotel is in a nice area, good connection to the metro and night-bus. The rooms are very small, but ok. The house-door is closed the whole day, that's very good, I thing.

The room was spotlessly clean, the towels were changed daily, the location was great, and the staff were really friendly and very helpful. I will definitely be going back.

I felt that this was a very nice place to stay, especially for the price. Like most of the reviews before me, I would like to remind the traveler that it is not a luxury resort, it is your basic room, bed, bathroom and shower - and it even has a TV!, and breakfast for extra Euros... The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned everyday. The employees of the hotel were nice and usually helpful. Try to get an unlimited metro pass for the amount of time your are staying, since it's a bit of a distance to central Paris. Besides a bit of noise during the days because of construction, and the thin walls at night, it was a comfortable place. I would go again.

The hotel room was small, not to mention the bathroom (WC), which was really small. Some noise at night. The location stated was poor. The best way to get there is to exit at the ROME metro station, which is around 50 meters close to the hotel.

Excellent value for money.Ideal location for accessing Metro for sightseeing. Staff were helpful and friendly.(One of the guys could put a little more effort into the "Friendly" department.)Just around the corner is a cafe, L'Escapade. Try him for a coffee and sandwich before setting out to see the sights.Further down near the Metro Station is the restaurant "Hippopotamus". You can't go wrong here. Excellent food at reasonable prices.A wide variety of other good restaurants within walking distance of Hotel Cabourg. For those who would bitch about the size of the rooms! Surely you didn't come to Paris to spend your day sitting in a bedroom? Get out early. There's so much to see. Enjoy your stay. We'll be going back real soon. Michael & Tim Carroll

The walls are thin. Thankfully, I had brought ear plugs. The people at the front desk do speak english and are very friendly. There is internet access as well. The room itself is a bit small but it suited our needs just fine. We just basically wanted a place to sleep and bathe. We would stay there again. However, if you are overweight, the bathroom may be a challenge.
