It was great! Very family oriented.

I liked the spacious rooms. We were only there for one night, but would come back. I liked the fact that it was close to convention center. Since, we were there for a cheer leading competition. We never had to get into our car. We walked to everything. It was wonderful!

I was at the hotel with my 9 year old son & my dad from March 23-25, 2009. We liked the hotel so much we wanted to stay another night, but the hotel was full. We had a 2 bedroom on the 4th floor. It was great. We could not believe how nice the rooms were and how spacious and clean it was. There were a dozen or so of college spring breakers, but it was not noisy or out of control. The activities at the pool were great for my son and he won the kids splash off. The room, bathroom, kitchens, living rooms were very updated with modern features and I think the cleanest hotel I have stay at. We are already planning our next trip to this hotel and hopefully the same room. The outside was a little outdated, but the room made up for it 100%!!!!! There is secured parking under the hotel and I think saw about 4 security guards working 24 hours a day. I can't say enough good things about it except you should stay here, you will not be disappointed.

When I arrived a the daytona regency, I was informed that they did not have room for my family. They took it upon themselves to book us a room a mile down the street that is nowhere the same quaLITY. nEVER OFFERED ANY TYPE OF REFUND. All we got was I'm sorry.

This was just a quick get away for myself, my daughter and one of her friends. This place was wonderful and I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of it!

A little hesitant to book because the price was so good. For the price of an "basic" effeciency a mile further away from the Ocean Walk, at a very run down hotel, we enjoyed a 2-bedroom 2 bath condo with a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom!! The staff was Amazing!! Extremely pleasant & informative. Location was excellent. The only regret was that we had to leave & come back home!! Hope to revisit soon..

A friend and I decided to take a trip and we were both very happy with the hotel. Everyone was very nice. We arrived a few hours early and the front desk was very accomodating by letting us use the pool and other facilities while they prepared our room. Our room was very clean and equip with everything we needed. The hotel is located close to everything: bars, shops, boardwalk, restaurants, etc. The only downfall to this hotel during our stay was that the tiki bar by the pool was under construction and not open to guests. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

We recently stayed 2 nights. The staff was very friendly, beds were extremely comfy, rooms were clean and the 2bdrm was perfect for our family. The location was nice, and it was a great value. We'd surely stay here again.

Even though you can tell this is an older hotel, it is still very nice. Our rooms had been painted and renovated and were very comfortable and very clean, which is a very big item on my list. The rooms and hotel even smell clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

We went to Daytona for Bike Week & the hotel had a terrific location! We were close enough to walk to Main St. for the action there & had several choices for dining within walking distance. The room was beautiful, much nicer than expected. We will surely return again!

Stayed in Jan so the place was not busy at all but the resort was wonderful. Very clean and friendly. The pool area was great. The Tiki bar was a bonus, even stayed open when not very many customers around. The bartender was very nice and friendly. The bed and even the pull out sofa was very comfortable. Next trip to Daytona will stay here for sure.

We loved our room and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The boys loved the slide and we really enjoyed the indoor hot tub. The outdoor hot tub was not working which was disappointing but at least we had the indoor one. The hotel is close to restaurants and shopping. We never had to get back in the car once we got there!!! There is also an arcade and waterpark nearby that the kids loved.

The Daytona Beach Regency was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff was very professional and courteous. The room was very clean and had a nice floor plan. We even had two balconies. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom was huge and very, very clean. The hotel is located right on the beach with a nice pool and a water slide for the kids. There was even a TIKI bar for the adults on site. The beach was awesome with Para sailing and lots of things to see and do. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and stores nearby also. Great location. I give this place a Two thumbs up. My highest rating. We will diffidently stay here again. The only thing better was the short drive to watch the Daytona 400.

I was extremely pleased with my stay. I found a deal on a two bedroom suite. The kitchen was full size! There was a jacuzzi in the second bedroom. The second bedroom also had a separate entrance, bathroom, and half kitchen. Each bedroom had a tv in addition to the tv and dvd player in the living room. The suite was clean and well provisioned (except for buying your own food). The hotel staff was very helpful. This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I didn't have time to use the pool or hot tub in the main areas of the hotel. The hotel had a direct access to the beach with a key card lock to keep re-entry restricted to hotel guests. I saw the security guard in the garage several nights in a row which reinforced the safety factor of the secure key-entry garage below the hotel.

The Daytona Regency was the worst hotel I ever stayed at. My husband called 2 weeks before our stay there and asked for a Ocean view room and the girl said she would put him down for one, well when we got there she said she could only get us a partial ocean view. When we got up to the room the tiny kitchen had dents in all appliances the walls were Pea soup ccolor green and dark blue it was ugly. Then we looked out side and are window looked into the building next door and we were right over the garbage can...The ice maker didn't work so my husband call the front desk and asked where he could get some ice from cuz the ice maker was broke and she said you can try to go to the bar down stairs and see if they would give you some. Then there were only 4 pillows in the room and there were 4 of us so he called the desk to get some more and they told him they didn't have anymore. This is the worst hotel and service I have ever had....Skip this hotel and stay at another one in Daytona.

This is a great place to stay...especially if you have teenagers. It is close to movies, arcades, etc. and is very roomy. Teens can walk to entertainment. It is also a great place for the money. Full kitchen, one or two full bedrooms...very nicely decorated. This was a second time there and will book there again every time we visit Daytona beach.

Sits on the beautiful beach. Next door to the Ocean walk shops (includes Starbucks, Coldstone & Bubba Gumps) We had a 2BR/2BA unit which gave us lots of room. The condo was very comfortable & the balcony had a view of the ocean from the corner. We were about one hour from the Kennedy Space Center & 1.5 hour from St. Augustine. Also about one hour from Orlando. There is a boardwalk next door to the south which allows you to walk down to the pier & town. Is is obvious that the community is working to improve this area. We were very pleased with this condo stay.

The Daytona Beach Regency has beautiful 2-bedroom suites! The kitchen was fully-stocked, which was a very pleasant suprize! It was very roomy and comfortable and I especially loved the spa tub in the main bedroom. The staff was very welcoming, laid-back, and friendly. The location was awesome, we could walk to many different eateries and stores. This is definately my hotel of choice when I want to take another beach get-away!
