We had an unpleasant experience. Mercifully, it was only for one night. Even though we requested a non-smoking room, the first one we were given smelled of smoke. The desk clerk gave us another room, but half the lights didn't work and we were basically told we didn't know how to turn on the lamps. (Not true! They were defective lamps.) The bathroom was almost too small to turn around in, and the towels were thin and scratchy. I was glad it was cheap, but I won't go back there.

Hotel was convenient to get to. Continental Breakfast was good. Hotel was typical, dated but clean. Right next door to the Waffle House. Norton Street runs in front of the hotel. A few short blocks and you connect with National, which goes downtown easily.

This is a terrible hotel. There is no elevator and we were staying over the holidays with numerous items which had to be carried up the flight of stairs. The night staff was extremely rude. The initial room we were given was in terrible condition and wasn't very clean. The next morning, the manager was very kind and moved us to the other side of the hotel. However, the hotel ended up with no hot water on our side of the hotel for over 4 days and refused to compensate us for the hassles. On top of that, they expected us to share a room with strangers to take showers. My son was in the room on the other side of the hotel taking a shower and a strange man was trying to get into the room at the same time to take a shower. The janitors brought their children with them to work and had them in the "shower" room watching TV one morning when my husband tried to take a shower. Every single morning, the janitors children were also in the breakfast room. Overall, one of the worst experiences we've ever had at a hotel. I absolutely would never stay at a Days Inn again, no matter where it is at.

The flat screen tv, minifridge, and microwave are a nice touch to add to the room. The space in the room was a little smaller then normal but not bad until you get clustered between the sink and the bathroom. The air conditioner had some issues on when you turned the knob did it really move to the cooler location or did it just show that it did. The beds were comfortable and the night was peacefully quiet to sleep. The hotel staff was plesent, and full of smiles. The morning breakfast was what you would expect minus the meat. Waffles made by the staff, toast, cereal, and begals made for enough to start the day and prepare you for lunch. The outdoor pool was big enough for about 5 people to freely move around but any more than that and it would seem very crowded.

It was clean and had wirelss connection. Older decor, lobby and not real inviting.

Avoid this place if you can. Looks nice from the outside but the rooms are nasty. The heating is noisy and heats minimally at best, so I assume the A/C wouldn't work much better. It may be less expensive than other places in the area but its still not worth it.

This is a very old Motel that the owners must have bought cleaned up and turned into a Days Inn. The rooms are very small and mine was painted all green. The king size bed was very comfortable and the TV was nice.

Nothing. Mold in tub, tub did not drain, holes in the walls, towel rack wastornand wall. It was unpleasant. Kept my shoes on at all times when up. The outside railings and steps were falling apart, did not feel safe. Bath tub would not completely drain, standing water, holes in the bathroom wall where the towel rack was torn out. Inferior shampoo and soap products. Mold around the inside of bath tub. Room was not clean in any way or form. Will not recommend that chain at all.

Very nice. It was obvious to tell that this was a Motel turned Hotel, but the normal Days Inn amenities were all available. It was nice to see their attention to ensure nice HD TVs were in the rooms (along with fridge and microwave). Nice touch keeping up with the times!

Bed was comfortable. Close to highway. However it was quiet, the bed was comfortable and the room met my needs adequately. The front office person was very polite and helpful with setting up wake-up call.

We stayed here simply to get to the airport the next morning. In our first room there were no towels and there was black mold on the bathroom ceiling. I relayed these to the front desk and our room was blocked from being rented and we were given another room which was satisfactory. There were plenty of accessories in the room and we appreciated the prompt respond from the staff.

The motel was older, but in good condition. It was clean to the naked eye and the bed was extremely comfortable. Our room had a digital TV. The room was a bit small, but had a microwave and refrigerator. The highway noise from I-44 was apparent outside, but not obtrusive in the room. The motel was located just off one of the main streets for easy access to anywhere in town. Only the reconstruction on the bridge nearby made access a bit difficult. All in all, a good buy for the money.

The free breakfast they offered really was bad. They only had a few things to choose from and none of it was eggs. The pool was only open til 9 and then you couldn't find it. The room was very small and there was only enough room for one person in the bathroom area at a time. It was not worth the money that we paid for it.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room a bit small for the queen bed. Bathroom clean. Refrigerator had dated two day old food so made you wonder what else might have been overlooked in the cleaning between travelers. Overall good price for a night's sleep if you're traveling thru.

I have just completed a four-day drive to Santa Barbara. This included 3 nights in motels, all of which were booked through Orbitz. All were good, but this motel was the best! It is an old facility . . . not a terribly attractive exterior (current road construction doesn't help). But the staff clearly takes great pride in keeping up the motel. They have converted some room space into a lovely continental breakfast area; spacious, new and clean. My daughter loved the exercise room. The staff was professional and very friendly, and the room was (while old) extremely clean and comfortable. We would certainly stay at this fine establishment again.

Our room was on the third floor, we took the stairs and I fell because the stairs are not symmetrical. Our room was cleaned and they took our towels but did not replace them. There was a lot of screaming and yelling outside our room, not very quiet. When we would take showers the water would go from freezing cold to burning hot. I would not recommend this hotel.

We were there for a soccer tournament. The room was small but fit the price. Service was wonderful.
