Nice atmosphere. High country scenery. We liked the hotel. The hotel was close to the Grand Canyon Railway tour that we took. Denny's was right next door and convenient.

When we arrived I had to wait for almost 10 minutes for someone to attend to the front desk. When he finally came he did not look happy and was not friendly. My room was missing two light bulbs.

We received excellent service from the staff. The cable was out but we didn't go on the trip to watch TV. The hotel was centrally located near all the town had to offer, it was quiet and worm with a western flare. I enjoyed the Continental breakfast and the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

If you are headed to the Grand Canyon for your family vacation, you may want to do yourself a favor and stay closer to Flagstaff, or at one of the very nice looking places near the South Rim. The room was allright furnishing wise, however, the wifi system is spotty at best, and the electrical outlets in the room would spark, pop, and then shock you when you tried to plug anything into the socket. Someone had put electrical tape over one set of outlets apparently as a deterrent against using your appliances. There were three lamps in the room, only one had a lightbulb. Our room was right against the stairs and you could hear the foot traffic up and down all night. The only two positives that I have are that the staff is very friendly and took our complaints with a smile and curteous replies. The free breakfast was a little lackluster, but there is a Denny's across the parking lot. After a drive through the town of Williams, however, and looking at the other hotels/motels available in town, the Days Inn looked like it may be the nicest of the bunch, next to the Best Western, which is up the hill from the Days Inn, and looked very nice, but cost twice as much.

Location was good. 3 actual cable chanels - not a good selection when a town shuts down early. Beds were not comfortable - not enough chanels on the cable. Ran out of coffee early in the morning. No elevator - it was hard to get the luggage and kids in and out of the hotel.

The front desk clerk was one of the crankiest, rudest clerks we've dealt with. You couldn't pry a friendly word out of his mouth. The continental breakfast had no variety and they ran out of a lot of what they did have. The room was nice. They ran out of non-smoking king so they gave us the presidential sweet. It was comfortable and roomy. Outside of the room, the hotel was not very clean and it was outdated. Besides all that, the awful customer service was the thing that stuck out the most. They really need to get that guy out of there.

Price. Beds were hard and furniture was broken. Window would not close allway. Walls were thin we could hear other guest through the walls.

The beds are as bad as any I've slept on in 45 years. There is no semblance of sound proofing. The room was as private as a bus station. The quality is certainly not consistent with the many Days Inn I've visited before.

Close to a restaurant. Good breakfast. Requested non-smoker. Tried 2 rooms & both smelt of smoke. All was well except for the smoke smell in non-smoking rooms. Had to use air freshener as the lady at the front desk said all rooms smell of smoke due to other smoking rooms across the hall. Cannot believe this.

Room was clean, internet good. Not luxurious, but comfortable. Bed was OK but I've slept on worse and paid more. For $60, a good value.

Nice western theme in lobby--friendly workers. The rear entrance doors didn't require a key/card to gain access--lots of warning signs in parking lot. Days Inn was okay--cable in room. Room was clean with AC unit. No fridge/microwave or ironing boards in room. Breakfast was okay--donuts/bagels, toast & cereal/oatmeal. Location is about 2-3 miles from Downtown Williams. Denny's is right next door. Service at Denny's was lousy--ended up leaving because no one would wait on me. Front desk was very helpful and pleasant.

This hotel was a good value. Average prices with standard rooms and typical breakfast snacks. The pool was small but clean. There was coffee and tea and sometime cookies available in the lobby most of the time. Service was friendly and room was clean. I would stay there again.

Staffs are friendly. The location is little bit far from grand canyon. The hotel is little bit far (40miles) from grand canyon which caused some inconvenience to us travel back and forth. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

"Twice in a week we stayed here. Second time we got the same room, and cerial, plastic and other things wich was at the floor at first visit, was still at the floor. Dust on couch still there."

Location. The price, no fridge. Down the road same price better rooms.

"we had reserved a non smoking room ahead of time, but when we arrived it was the only king size room left and smoking. having a small child we asked to be moved to another, but there were no more king size left, so they offered full size, but having a 6'4"" husband, it did not work. instead, they put us up in the presidential suite at not extra cost, very generous of them. the room was awesome, clean and comfortable, we would definately be staying there again. friendly, clean, and comfortable is what we needed. "we had reserved a non smoking room, but when we got there it was the only king size room left, i have a young child and asked for another room. well they offered me the full beds but with a 6'4"" husband it would have been a nightmare to sleep. so, they upgraded us to the presidential suite, very generous of them. it was clean, and comfortable, we would definately be staying with them more often. excellent experience!!!"

"Hotel was what you would expect for the price. Service was good and management went out of their way to correct the one problem we had. Breakfast was decent. Have stayed here before, will probably stay again."
