The only good thing i can say about this place is the location. The front desk staff were awful. The rooms were tiny and the walls were paper thin. The safes in the room all have the same key. They over-charged our debit card for $50...which they told us would be credited back in 5-7 business days. They charged us $25.00 for use of the safe key. When I complained about the service, they lady who helped me check in was standing there and started arguing with me and even started to whine to her manager. It was complete bs. I will never stay here again, nor will i ever recommend this place to anyone. They do not pride themselves on good customer service.

Room was ok but not up to par with any other Day's Inn I've ever stayed in. It smelled horrible, but I think that may have been the fault of the people next to us cooking something weird in their room. The pool and hot tubs were very nice, but of course the pool had a water slide and so it was FULL of SCREAMING children and the room the pool was in made their screams ECHO very very loudly. I was in the hot tub to relax, and that didn't work very well with the screaming. We were given a free breakfast by the hotel's restaurant. The staff there was great; the eggs & meat (my mom & I had bacon, my husband had sausage) were good but the hash browns were awful. I had been excited about staying at a "better" hotel chain (we usually camp or do really cheap places) but this was disappointing in that regard. It wasn't BAD, it just wasn't good either.

Super friendly staff. The old building we stayed in really needs upgrading. This place was very convenient and the staff was very nice. We had to stay in the old building which was in need of serious upgrading. The room was clean and pleasant though. There was an added benefit of 2 vouchers for a full breakfast in their restaurant (excluding tax & tip). We had three people, but the rates were extremely inexpensive for the meals, so we were very pleased. All in all, this place was a good deal for us.

Comfortable and convenient to the Park Entrance. A little high, but everything in the area is pretty expensive. No complaints.

We stayed for 4 nights June 2009. We were very concerned about the quality of hotels in W. Yellowstone given that reviews for many of the hotels complained of dirt and (ick!) bed bugs. Days Inn got decent reviews and I was extremely happy with the experience. Check-in was friendly and easy. I was expecting a motel-type room but it was very spacious and very clean. The dressers only provided 2 wide drawers even though there was room for 4 which would have allowed us to fully unpack the suitcases. The carpet in the hallway outside of our 3rd floor room was very clean. The stairwells were also carpeted which always feels a lot nicer than concrete stairwells. Hot breakfast (eggs, meat, toast/biscuit) was provided for 2 in the restaurant; we had to pay an extra $3/pancake for the kids and for beverages, which was fine. The pool had a very big water slide which was very popular. The exit of the slide was too close to the pool sidewall and you could theoretically hit. My husband said he liked to go down on his back for speed and then he sat up to slow himself down just before the exit. The water was supposed to be 82 degrees but I found it too cold. 2 hot tubs were very nice to keep from being overcrowded. The room only had 4 towels for 4 people. The pool towels provided by the front desk were bigger than a hand towel but smaller than a bath towel. Overall, I was happy with the cleanliness and spaciousness of our room. Of course the proximity to Yellowstone National Park was great. I deducted one star for the paucity of towels and dressers, and cold pool water.

The swimming pool with water slide was great.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful, but the hotel is old and uninviting. Everything in West Yellowstone Park is overpriced, but the trip through Yellowstone Park makes it worthwhile.

we showed up at 1:30 am and the front desk was helpful. From the pictures I thought it was more like a hotel, but we had to walk outside to get to the breakfast. The breakfast was huge and included with our price which I didn't realize, so that was a nice perk. Left too early to enjoy the facilities. XC skiing in Yellowstone was the best thing ever, except for all the snowmoblilers :)

This hotel room was actually much bigger than we had expected. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and inviting.

Our only bad experience with this hotel was the wait to check in. We arrived just a couple of minutes before their posted check-in time of 3pm. We were told the room was not ready and we were asked to come back in 15-20 minutes. We came back 20 minutes later and we were told the same thing. Finally, a little past 4pm the room was ready. Other than this, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast and service at their restaurant was good, but we preferred the food and service at the Running Bear just down the road.

It is in agreat location, but the rooms are dark and look dirty the lobby looks ok, but everything else is not real clean and is looking old and worn the bathroom was way to small and I am not sure how well cleaned things where.

The rooms were clean; we had no problems with noise. The staff was preoccupied and abrupt. The roll away bed was a disaster- it was pure springs. Don't plan to use it. No breakfast- price was a bit high for what you got...

Days Inn West Yellowstone was not a good choice for us. There was plenty staff throughout the hotel and restaurant, some were obviously new hires. We had to wait on several occasions for second person to help first employee. Room was just Ok, for the amount charged. Housekeeping should be more thorough, especially in the bathroom. Restaurant was our biggest disappointment; only breakfast served. Menu was very expensive. Received two free breakfasts, of the hotels choice, for adults only. Food was cold. Hostess in restaurant on second morning was very rude, slow and non apologetic. The hotel just was not a good value.

Cheap. Bathroom door broken shower head broken. Front desk was made aware of broken door and showerhead but did not fix, however we fixed it and owner did not want to compensate for inconvience.

"If the hotel was previously under construction, it is no longer in need of repairs. Our family found the hotel to be clean and our room was very spacious. I was impressed with the staff and found them to be very helpful and friendly. We were traveling with an infant and they were very accomodating and willing to meet our needs. I would stay here again!"

The Days Inn West Yellowstone, had a very friendly staff and checking in was a breeze. We paid extra to stay in the newer wing of the hotel to ensure that we would have an updated room. You can imagine my suprise when I enter the elevator to see staining (clearly from a water leak of some sort) on the carpet. At that point I was quite concerned about what the room would be like, but I have to say outside of a much needed cosmetic facelift, the room was pleasant. The room was very clean, the air conditioner kept the room the perfect tempature, and considering we were directly over the swimming pool the noise was never at a level that was bothersome. If you have children, or are a kid at heart, the slide is a great win for your stay. Overall, the hotel was fine, but considering the price I would assume they could update the rooms, provide a nicer room to look at, or softer sheets to sleep on.

It has an indoor water slide. The restaurant was not exactly attractive. Very clean and friendly envorionment for families. This hotel is also in a great location for walking to most of the attractions in town.
