Cheap and clean. The door to my room was very difficult to open.

This hotel was an excellent place to crash after a long day on the slopes. I've stayed here before and the rooms are always nice and clean. The staff is always friendly and ready to help in anyway they can. It's in a great location and is really easy to get to. And you can't beat the price! It way not be the Hilton, but if you're looking for a nice place to stay the night/weekend, it's perfect!

nice location.clean rooms.older place well cared for. On the down side .try not to get a room in the aft building facing the ralroad tracks. if you do you will see and hear a lot of trains.

The cleanliness was great for an older motel. The pillows never seemed to be quite comfortable. Overall the hotel was great, the staff was awesome, and the cleanliness was impressive. They have a great pool and the wifi was adequate (signal strength low).

Our 2-bed room was very roomy and nice and clean. There were trains close by but we left the bathroom fan running overnight and they didn't bother us. The breakfast was adequate, but not great. The waffles weren't good (batter was too thin and the waffles stuck to the irons!!) and even though we were eating breakfast early (around 7 a.m.), they were already out of donuts. (The kids weren't happy!) We had bagels and cold cereal....not what I would call a hot breakfast. But there was lots of seating room, which was a plus. Despite the breakfast disappointments, we'd stay again for the price.

Price was okay, room fine-nothing special.... but poor pool hours. Also, I was so disappointed in the breakfast... The stuff they did have was in short supply, and of low quality....and when I poured a glass of the unmarked milk pitcher.... it was powdered milk. I was offended. It was unlabeled, and they tried to pass it off as real milk. I also saw the staff member in the breakfast area taking spent styrofoam cups and stacking them for re-use. I even observed her instructing guests to stack them for reuse. Unbelievable! When you do want to eat a decent breakfast, however, don't hesitate to head up the road to Brandy's (Brandi's??) restaurant and bakery!! You'll have to look up the address. Won't be back to Days Inn West on 66. Wanted value, got less.

Beautiful pool and lobby. All rooms smelled strongly of smoke; I am asthmatic and it really bothered me the whole trip. At first glance, the hotel looked nice. Once we got to our room, it smelled so strongly of smoke that I had to use my inhaler. My husband went to the lobby and asked for another room. They only had one other room available and that room only had two double beds instead of a king. We were also charged extra because the second room had a fridge, which we did not care about, I just wanted to be able to breathe well in my room. The second room still smelled of smoke, but was at least milder.

Well the room was clean, but they put anyone who books by online travel agency at the very back of the hotel and that is where the trains run...ALL night long! The breakfast was nothing to write about, and the hostess was rude when the waffle maker was sticking and under cooking the waffles, she even tried to get one of our party to eat the stuff that she scraped off the iron!

The breakfast person was slow at putting things out, used cloths to wipe dirty areas and tables without getting a new one, touched food after touching trash, and took food off of table that someone left for trash that they had not ate and put it back in the bin for people to eat. Health dept. needs to check them out!

Location. Inflexibility to move us to a room away from the train. Stay was okay. Nothing special.

The hotel top to bottom is worn, noisy, not clean and not maintained. Inside and outside needs paint, beds sag and were stained and badly frayed sides. Sheets had holes. Could hear people in adjacent room. Restaurant booths seats had large tears running the length of them. Breakfast food was watered down. Lot next door had homeless people around an old mattress with liquor bottles strewn around. Parking lot has theft warning signs. Bathroom fixtures rusted. Room door did not fully close. Lawn was in bad shape with lots of dead areas. Lots of night and day train noise.

They were willing to upgrade my room with a microwave and free. Nothing. They were friendly, met my needs, help my items I left and were able to go back and pick them up, the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean except it would be nice if the housekeepers could speak English.

"If you are nostalgic about chu chu trains, then this is the place for you. You get to listen to them all night long. Other than that, the rooms seem to be clean but nothing to write home about."

It was Ok. Rooms were large and clean but nothing to write home about. I'd look for another location next time.

"Definitely an older hotel, but clean and room was large. Faucet in tub needed re-caulking though. Breakfast was decent, more than most places. Friendly staff. We were moving across country and just needed an inexpensive place to crash, and this fit that bill perfectly. Relatively easy access on and off hwy and plenty of room for parking our rental truck towing a vehicle. Would consider staying here again if in Flagstaff again. Eat at Strombolis if you stay in Flagstaff! :)"

"This motel is in a great location and has a decent breakfast. We didn't know it was a pet motel until we got there, fortunately there were no noisy animals near us. We'd stay there again."
