Hotel uses Qwest as LD carrier. Every instruction indicates dial 9 and 0 for operator access. Got busy signal for 10 days. They said they reported it to Qwest, but on day of departure, they hadn't heard from Qwest. I'm going back in November, but won't stay there because I need LD access when I travel in November. Local calls went thru' all right. Can't chance lousy carrier service. BUT staff was sympathetic. By the way...THEY were unable to make LD calls after I requested they try, just in case it was MY room only.

Room was clean. By the freeway, so we could hear the traffic. Nice and comfortable.

Staying here is a big mistake. The room was nice, the location was good, the price was reasonable, but none of it is worth the horrendous service or bad management/owner. We were awakened by housekeeping knocking at the door because we'd forgotten to put the sign on the knob. Not the problem. We asked them to come back & they said ok. An hour later we took the sign from the door & left. We arrived back at about midnight & the room hadn't been cleaned nor had the beds been made. There was a stack of clean towels left on the unmade bed. We called to the front desk and the guy told us we could move to another room, but we would have to pay for both rooms. We left a message for the manager/owner to call us in the morning. He never did. Upon checkout I spoke to the General Manager/Owner. He told me he talked to the housekeeping staff and they told him we refused service twice and then told them to just leave clean towels and not to clean the room. I told him that was not the case, and that they were trying to protect their jobs. The end result was him telling me too bad, theres nothing he could do. AND then he walked away from me. He didnt even apologize. Do not stay here, because if anything goes wrong... you still have to pay for it. The customer is NEVER right at this location. I am signing this anonymous because I have a complaint in with the corporate offices.

A good place to stay for one night enroute to your destination. Beds are very good, however the A/C had a hard time keeping the room cool. Hotel is located right off I-40 and appears to be in a safe area, however this is the only hotel I have ever stayed at where the front desk is behind plate glass. You register and talk through two slits in the glass. Not really a confidence booster for guest security. I would stay again, but only for one night on my way to a destination.

location was good hard to get back on to interstate. breakfast was not worth it. pool and room were very nice.

The bed linens were clean. The bathroom light had a very loud exhaust fan with no option for light only. Cheap, clean, and conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only gripe was the bathroom light, had a very loud exhaust fan and no option to do light only. So, kiss a relaxing bath goodbye.

My friend & I stayed here for four nights while visiting Albuquerque for both pleasure & job-hunting reasons. It's close to both major freeways, which was nice. We got everywhere pretty quickly, & we went a lot of places. The staff was friendly, breakfast good, the room was extremely clean, & the nearby freeway didn't bother us at all. If, like us, you like to walk to breakfast or to a bar for a late-night drink, you're out of luck--you need the car for that. She & I didn't consider that to be a problem, though it would've been nice. The only thing was, we didn't find the bed comfortable, but we didn't come to ABQ to sleep, so no big deal there. Overall, it was a pleasant experience & we would stay there again.

This hotel is located right off of I40 as you get into Alb. The location is convenient and is surrounded by restaurants, however, if you get a room on the west side of the hotel, the interstate traffic noise will keep you up all night. I would recommend getting a room on the east side of the building. I stayed there two nights and my kids enjoyed the swimming pool.

This was our first hotel stay during our cross country road trip. We got into the hotel about 2 in the moring. The staff was friendly and concerned that we were so tired. The check in was quick and simple. The room was very good as was the bed. We got a great sleep and the continental breakfast was very good. The rest of the trip was good because we got a great start and rest at this motel.

Clean, well-kept and friendly staff. The water in the pool was so cloudy you cannot see your own feet on the first step of the pool. Clean and well-kept rooms with friendly staff. Basic but plentiful continental breakfast. Coffee and tea in the room. Free WiFi in your own room with your own computer. Free cable. Only thing that gave me pause was the swimming pool - while standing on the first step leading into the water, could not see my own feet through the murkiness of the water. Didn't dare go in further. Otherwise, great hotel.

The hotel employees where polite, friendly and most of all respect your privacy and belongings. We changed rooms during our stay; I left my phone charger in the first room(upstairs); . They brought it to me in the second room(downstairs). Very grateful.

The Days Inn West Albuquerque was a good place to get a quiet nights sleep. Even though the hotel is located right next to the highway, the area was very quiet at night. The room didn't have a microwave, but one was available in the office area. It did have a small fridge and coffemaker. The wireless internet worked very well. The heated pool was warm, but not very clean, (i.e. hair, dirt, metal objects)and that was after just being cleaned earlier that same day. The rooms themselves were comfortable and looked like they had recently been painted. Hotel staff were very friendly and did all they could to make our stay comfortable. You can tell it is a very old hotel, but it is a good value for the money.

Price and convenience. Beds were horribly uncomfortable. The hotel served our needs, but neither of us got much sleep because of the uncomfortable bed. It was clean and close to the highway.
