Close to Miller park.

I stayed at this hotel for a week while in town visiting family, and I can honestly say that not one night passed without me wishing that I hadn't been so cheap. My reasoning was, "Hey, we're only going to sleep there, so why pay more for something fancy?" Well, I'll give you four reasons. First, the walls are very thin, so you hear every hallway conversation and TV show enjoyed by your neighbors. Second, there was no fridge or microwave in the room, so we had to decline taking leftovers from restaurants. Third, the elevator smelled so awful that we used the stairs exclusively after our first experience. Fourth, we ended up being a lot more... chaste... than is preferable for a week-long vacation, from a desire to have no direct contact with the bed linens. There were a few positives (besides the price, of course). The rooms have a disused exterior access hall which, while there are no doorknobs on the outside, can be reached from inside the room. This means that if you smoke, but don't rent smoking rooms because of the awful stale smell, you can conveniently step outside without trundling through the halls in your robe and slippers. Second, the heater did a very good job of countering the March weather and was a rather nice white-noise generator, as well.

The elevator to the room had the most putrid smell and the desk said it was because it was enclosed, I don't think so. The toilet had a sanitary band on it and the seat paint was peeling. The desk put a new seat on right away, but the smell from the elevator was in the hallways and the air conditioning in the room needed to be cleaned, it had a very moldy smell. I would not stay here again.

good location older hotel needs some updating

Breakfast pastry was excellent, separated beds was a plus. TV could only be seen from one bed. The staff was very helpful and prompt. The rooms were reasonably clean but the hotel itself was very old. The rooms were warm and well stocked.

They over charged my credit card, then told me I was a liar. The pool had fungus EVERYWHERE! The room itself was dirty and stunk, the walls had dirt and the furniture was water logged no hot water. And the staff was rude!!!

Location's great--too bad the venting system has enough stale cigarette smell to pass as second hand smoke. Our room had mold on the wall that was hidden behind the curtain--not noticed until I shut it for the night: nice black and pink stuff! Bought some Febreze which made the room tolerable for the one night we were there (nothing else available in our price range). Noise in hallway comes straight into the room, but not the worst thing on my list for a hotel that simply is not being maintained, which is too bad. It could be a great property.

I was expecting more with this Hotel chain. The pool was closed; they place the breakfast in a place without a single table. I have been in other Days Inn and they take better care with thinks that cost little but make the traveler feel at home. Felix

Location. Staff did not make up the room, change towels - it was noisy room to room. Good location of our purposes, economy hotel. We did not take advantage of pool, restaurant, etc. Did not like the noise level from other rooms - had to run the heat/AC fan all night.

This hotel was terrible in my opinion. It was really old and run down; must have been constructed in the 1960's. Room had a moldy smell to it. I'd like to know what Days Inn was thinking when they bought this piece of junk and put their name on it. The pool area was really bad. There was moss growing in the grout between the tiles that made the entire area very slippery. My 10 year old daughter jumped in the deep end of the pool and sliced her toe open on the grate in the bottom of the pool; turns out the grate is broken and missing a couple fins after my further inspection. I'm not exaggerating either; there was about a 1/2 inch piece of skin hanging off her toe and she was bleeding all over the place. I proceeded to ask the attendant for a band-aid and he seemed extremely inconvenienced because I pulled him away from the baseball game he was watching.

I just needed a place to stay and this fit the bill nicely. It wasn't great but then the price was right and there were really no problems except that the building needs some renovation. The attached restaurant and bar are good and reasonably priced. I didn't have time to use the pool but the are alooked nice. Overall it was a good experience, just not great.

Close to Zoo. Walls need paint, chairs were stained, blankets had holes in them. I slept in jeans and a long sleeve shirt/afraid of bed bugs. I stay in 4 hotels per year, usually downtown Chicago. I do not stay in a 4 star hotel. The standards of this hotel made me sick. I wanted to leave the moment we got there, but my significant other would not let me because of finances. He was so disappointed with the lodging, it made him grouchy and me too. It ruined our get away.

Location is excellent. But the building is certainly dated. The walls are quite thin - we heard many other guests in the hallway making noise late at night.

A better breakfast buffet. I thought to small. I only stayed in room while I stayed in the Days Inn. Staff was nice.

The beds are a big deal to me. These were not like sleeping on a board. The water pressure in shower was not good. Definitely liked this Days Inn compared to the one down the street. If we need to, we will stay here again. Not too bad.

Furnishings and decor in room in dire need of updating. Peeling wallpaper, chipped paint, etc. Carpets, fixtures, and furniture were old and worn. Mattress was hard and uncomfortable. Continental breakfast was mostly rolls and doughnuts with a few apples and oranges. Staff was pleasant and polite, although not good at all with directions. No detailed street maps were available at the desk. The location was great, close to shopping and restaurants. Zoo only a couple blocks and downtown Milwaukee only a 15 minute ride straight east. Housekeeping was not filthy, but wasn't really clean either. Did not find any bugs of any kind. On the up side, the price was reasonable compared to many of the other hotels in the area. If you are planning on being out all day and just need a place to shower and sleep, it would fill your needs. Water was good and hot, A/C worked well. No noise complaints from either the outside or the inside of the hotel.

We took in the Brewers/Sox game. Hotel very convenient to Miller Park. Zoo is right there, but that was not of interest to us. Room and bathroom were pretty clean, but room needed updating... woodwork, furniture and doors were pretty beat up. Continental breakfast offered was minimal. Pool area was nice and we especially liked that they had adults only swim times.

The price. Did not like the bed, rundown room, halls, grungy bathroom. The price reflected the quality we got. Poor. The beds were hard, it had a rundown look about it. Something dripped from the carport roof onto the roof of our car from the rain. We had to get it professionally buffed out. The hotel would not take responsibility. The pool was attached by a tunnel underground. The restaurant attached to the hotel was nice.
