Good priceThe hotel is good value for money and was well situated close to where I would be working. My only worry was that as a single female traveller it was in an area that could be a little intimidating. In terms of the room, it was good but next to a very noisy road junction.

Clean attractive lobby, friendly staff. Very dirty couch in bedroom. A pleasant but rather utilitarian hotel, good for travelers using waterloo station as only a short cab ride away.

There was alot of road noise in the room due to an ill-fitting window - the road was busy all night, so did not sleep very well.

I have just returned from a 10-day trip to Europe with 22 college students and 12 adults. The last stop of our trip was London, and it was truly the highlight of our stay (we also visited Rome, Florence, and Paris). Right across the street from the hotel is a War Museum which I personally did not see but other students in our group said it was very interesting (I believe it is free). There is a Tube (their subway system) station about a block and a half a way (called the Lambeth station), and a bus stop about a block away. Definitely travel using the Tube which is much more cost effective than taxis and it is easy to use and very fast. We had "day passes" so that we could freely use the Tube and the city buses all day. The breakfast that the hotel offered was very, very good. It included scrambeled eggs, ham, sausage, yogurt, cereal, and fresh fruit.

Hotel is very clean and staff is very friendly and helpfull.location is quite good as you have metro station 5min walk from hotel and around 15 min walk to London eye. Your price includes breakfast- thats good for London and brekkie is lovely. Definetly we will be going back ;)

one night standWas very surprised at the quality, didn't expect so much, especially the TV that was talking to me. The bed and room were very comfortable, staff were great.

The only complaint I can make about this hotel was the noise at night. We were on a ground floor room and with a police station directly across the street it was noisey both nights we stayed. Otherwise the hotel was good and I would use again but maybe not a ground floor room.

Not a new hotel as advertised. Some refurbishment is ongoing. The hotel room had received some tretament but was poorly planned, the bathroom tiling should have been replaced and overall has a shabby look. The common areas are tatty. There was no hot water. The on duty manager was helpful and apologetic about the condition

The room was small but pleasant. The two twin beds comfortable. For the price and location very reasonable.

This is a basic hotel at a basic proce for it's location. The room itself was adequate and clean but the communal areas were fairly rough, with peeling wallpaper, damaged walls and threadbear carpets. For the price was not expecting anything spectacular, and as just required somewhere to sleep after a night out this was completely adequate.

Although the hotel was full with guests, my room remained quiet all the time. The only negative point was that the restaurant area was not big enough to accomodate all the guest that were trying to have breakfast in the morning.

Comfortable and covenientI wasn't expectinh much but wanted a hotel near Waterloo Station. This Days Inn was noticeably clean and staff were friendly, with a good atmosphere when you walk in the door. Food was simple and good. Service good, too - and smiling. You don't get this very often in London!

A very clean and well-furnished budget room in an extremely convenient location for the South Bank. The hotel seems very well run and secure. My stay was spoiled only by the bed having the saggiest and most uncomfortable mattress I've ever tried to sleep on. Still, I doubt they can possibly be like that in every room so I was probably unlucky in this instance.

There was some confusion over payment of breakfast. I was asked to pay when I went in for breakfast but on checking out I queried this and it was confirmed that my organisation was paying and I should have not been asked for additional payment. This was sorted out very quickly and courteously and I was given a refund

What was good about the hotel was its location (about 10 minutes walk from Waterloo and opposite the Imperial War Museum), and on the whole the staff were pleasant and efficient, however what was bad about the hotel far outweigh the good: The bed sheets had not been changed from the previous room occupant - disgusting. I went downstairs for dinner only to be told that Tuesday nights are buffet nights (and the buffet consisted of fish cakes and a fish main course - no good if you dont like fish)On the whole, I think that there is much better value for money around Waterloo and hence would have to be relatively desperate to stay here again.

Iwas pleasently supprised as when iI arrived I thought it looked just like a block of flats ,But Imust say the staff were very frendly and the room was just right.the food was great Iwould definatly stay again as most of my familly live in the area and it is situated just right .If I have a comlaint its not the hotel but' where it is situated a ,police station over the road and syrins going all niight long
