The hotel was staffed with wonderful smiling faces. I never once got a feeling of uncomfort. And very helpful when it comes to questions about the area. The Hotel offered a service that took travelers to and from the subway system every hour on the hour. And was prompt about the service. I CAN'T say a harsh word toward the hotel staff. And the additive of having an in hotel resturant and bar was a big plus also. The rooms had clean well made beds with crisp sheets and comfortable temperature controls. It offered a great deep tub for a soak after a long day of exploration and many fluffy towels for wrapping yourself in comfort after the soak. I would refer anyone to this hotel for a quick get away or a extended stay.

The room was clean, up to standards, as it is an older hotel. The shuttle runs only on the hour, so prepare to plan around the shuttle to and from the Metro, and the last trip is at 8pm, so if you plan to be out later a taxi trip is about $6 from Rosslyn. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, we had wifi internet in our room the first two nights, but after that there was none. When we asked at the front desk, they told us that the hotel had no wifi. There is high speed wireless in the lobby, but do not count on it in the room even though there are instructions on how to connect in the room... a bit puzzling...

I was in town for my brother's wedding. I have stayed in Days Inns before and always been satisfied. This one could not get us into the right room, We had upgraded for a King size bed and they could not give it to us. No one was willing to work with us to get this error fixed. The staff did not communicate between themselves. The manager was unfriendly when I finally got to talk to him. The rooms were disgusting and no one seemed to want to work. The shuttle service was a joke. One morning they waitedwith a full shuttle for 10 minutes past departure with about 8 people standing on the side walk. This was a horrible experience.

This was an overnight stay on our way to a family celebration. The stopover was fine.

This is an old hotel... the room itself was not that horrible, but it is old. The room I stayed in had a desk, but no outlets close by, so i had to stretch it across the room. Now to the internet... wireless and it does not reach the rooms well at all. The signal barely existed in my room. If you are looking for a cheap room and do not need internet, this place is not so bad...

This Hotel was actually a Motel. $90/night (4th of July Rate) got us a 8x10 room with one double-sized bed. Hair dryer missing from the wall, no iron/board in room. (had to barrow from front desk). There was no vent in the bathroom but a single window in the shower to open to the back at another hotel. We were on the first floor for people to peak in. Cables/splitters out in the open going up the walls to the second floor outside cables tangled in our bathroom window. Thin walls, chipped paint. It reminded me of a beat single dormroom. $7-$8 for breakfast.

It was not what I expected. The bath room had mold in the shower. The air conditioner did not work properly.

I was booked into this hotel for my father's burial at Arlington. Upon arriving I refused to stay due to the sketchy neighborhood. They front desk was very, very helpful finding me another hotel more suitable to the amount of children that would be staying with us.

I booked a package and now find that the hotel has billed me separately for the same stay that orbitz has already paid for. I am thus financing a disagreement between this hotel and orbitz over about 30 USD.Neither side will give in so I am stopping payment to the hotel. I have talked to the hotel, orbitz and my credit card company and no one is responsible. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. I won't use orbitz again either. There are too many good providers who will stand behind their business. Use one.

Our hotel experience was not very good. The place is old and rundown. It took quite some time to have anyone pay attention to us during check-in and check-out. They offer a shuttle service to the Metro which is scheduled to run every hour. We waited 30 minutes past the departure time before there was someone to drive the van.

Avoid this hotel if you can. I spent one night; could not wait to get out of there. First I was given a room which was already occupied (overheard the desk clerk saying that it happens everyday); the room was reeking of cheap perfume; the fan was not working; no temperature control; the hotel was generally unclean. It is a sub-standard hotel. One of the worst hotels I stayed in. Never again.

The room was very clean and looked refurbished. The motel is old but very convenient to the Beltway and Clarendon. Taxi service was fast and Day's Inn has a shuttle service to the Metro. We booked two doubles and while one had a good AC system, our room's AC was broken. All in all, a good value.

I accidentally reserved a smoking room which was my fault. However, the hotel employees would not change my room. I would have gladly paid more for an upgrade but this wasn't even offered. Granted the room was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for but I would have appreciated at least some sympathy. I left the next day and all of my luggage smelled like smoke.

Not much around it, so you had to take the hotel shuttle into the Rosslyn Metro station to get anywhere. There were ants in the room and a funky smell throughout. You could see light coming in between the door and the frame. But, on the up side, it was cheaper than most places in the D.C. area and we really only used it for sleeping. We adapted to the shuttle schedule (it's not on-demand) and were able to get around without too much trouble. Overall, it was passable, but certainly not a high-quality accomodation.

This Days Inn is the wrost hotel I have ever seen! The 1st thing was the staff, the cleck was eatting the whole time I was checking in. On the way to our room I noted that somme room had their doors open, when we got to the rommI understood why NO A/C!!!. I called the front desk and got the same eatting clerk who told me the A/C had not been turned on for the season. I expained my dauther health problems and was told that no one could turn the A/C/ on and to check in the morning. WE CHECED OUT!

Booked this hotel on basis of what were "average" reviews for price of hotel. Average description was very lenient. Hotel lobby smelled - rooms were extremely outdated and mine had a leak in the sink somewhere that had even the carpet out side the bathroom wet - furniture in room had stains - air conditioning didn't work very well - even the towels were old and the shower curtain had a tear in it. Externally - the condition of the hotel was not much better. Wouldn't recommend and would never stay there again. Even with the good price deal.

The one evening/morning we spent with Days/Arlington, VA. was pretty much the same as other motels. However, the night desk attendend could have been a little more pleasant with those who were calling the front desk when we were regestering in. The following night we asked for the maintenance man to check the A/C. And that was taken care of quickly and politely. The in house restaurant served pretty good food but not worth the price. Over $20 for 2 orders of pancakes and scrambled eggs, and coffee?? Over all, for the location, and price it was quite satisfactory. One thing that did bother us. We prebooked a 3 night stay originally via Orbits. When a phone call curtailed our stay, we notified the front desk about the change in our plans and was basically told by the Days staff that we had to talk to Orbitz. That effort proved to be futile. We did not get any kind of refund for a partial stay. Whereas if we had booked with the motel directly we would only have paid for the actual time we stayed. A lesson learned and noted for future bookings? I really don't expect to see this note posted here, but HEY you asked and I complied! Orbiz offers a good service, just aren't big of personal customer service.

I was for business in DC. The price/value rate of this motel is excellent. There is only one mayor flaw. The hotel advertises high speed internet but in many rooms the signal appears to so weak that the connection fails. I tried out four rooms untill I found one with an OK signal strength. When it rains, the signal weakens. Only in the lobby there is a strong wireless signal. Therefore many PC users spend their evening in the lobby. This is community building :) but can be frustrating, if one needs some quiet time :( The shuttle service to the Metro stations ends at 8pm. Fortunately Metrobus 4H runs from the Metro station to the motel all evening.
