We were only there for about 12 hrs., but, everything was fine. The continental breakfast was good.

The staff could not be any more helpfull and friendly. For an overnight stay it was a pleasant experience and a very clean room. The internet service worked great once I figured out what I was doing. There is a great outdoor swimming pool that I didn't get to try but will look forward to on my next trip through this area.

We were very pleased with our stay in Vandalia,IL Days Inn. It was a very clean room especially the bathroom. We were very impressed with 4 pillows per bed. I like lots of pillows and usually bring 2 extra from home, now I know in the future I won't have to bring them when we stay here again.

The room decor and cleanliness was good. The outside definitely showed its age. Old. Everyone was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was ok. The rooms were clean and pleasant but the outside looked like an old hotel.

Staff is amazingly friendly. Room is very large, nice, quiet and immaculately clean. I was so happily surprised, I will stay here again every time i pass through.

There was nothing I liked about this hotel. Poor appearance, bed was hard, room was small, heat hard to control. The appearance was very poor, the rooms were very small, the bed was uncomfortable, the heat was hard to control, the shower curtain had mold on it, and the mirror was dirty. The only thing good about the breakfast was the coffee. My expectations were not very high, after all it is only a 2 star, and this did not even come close to meeting my expectations. It should have been a clue when I pulled up and the only vehicle in the parking lot was the one of the employee and a broken down pickup with construction equipment in the back.

We expected just an overnight stopover in a cheaper hotel. It turned out to be the nicest hotel we stayed in on the trip. The service was excellent. Friendly staff and clean rooms. The breakfast area is so nice. They had enough to feed our hungry kids before getting back on the roads. The price was more than affordable. It was a real treat.

True nonsmoking room. 3 women alone were placed next to construction workers. Clean, quiet (after 9:30) easy access.

This was our last stop after a week of travel and was by far the best room we stayed in. It was very large, quiet and clean. Did not use the pool but it was a good size for a hotel. Nice select on the breafast bar. When traveling this area again I will make it a point to stay here again.

Hotel has gratis wirless network connection. Coffee maker was dirty when I attempted to use it. Hotel is on IL Route 51 and Route 70. Has a local Walmart, several gas stations, grocery store and fast food restaurants to enjoy. Could be considered a "truck stop town". Nothing spectacular but the necessities are right there if you need them.
