The rooms are small but there is a vintage styled cafe on site which we enjoyed several times. The room with a king size bed is very comfortable but the one with 2 double beds is cramped. It was a great location, close to downtown, right off I-35 North. Staff was very nice. Pool was small. The noise from the air conditioner in the room covered the noise from the interstate. Price made it worth it.

It had a refrigerator, iron and blow dryer in room. Price was too high for the facility. The microwave was broken.

The outside does look a little grungy and you are put off by it. But Inside the room it is pretty clean and comfortable. Great location. Very close to 6th street. I would stay again

We stayed here overnight when coming to UT Freshman Orientation. Everything was broken--the "business center" consisted of a computer on the front counter, whose screen could be seen by everyone entering the door. This turned out not to be a problem, because the computer didn't work anyway! The glass door on the in-room microwave had been smashed in, and the 2 windows in the room were not secure (old, dysfunctional locks). There were 2 positives about the whole experience:1) the bed linens were clean; and 2) the location is very close to the UT campus. That's about the best I can say.

We wanted to spend the night and get a fresh starting for the UT orientation......, but the climate unit was so noisy that we didn´t have too much sleeping time.... Good price and nice rooms if you don´t care for the noise.

There is not much I really did like. Just about everything. The hotel was clean but the outer appearance was less desirable. Will not stay there again.

we were disappointed with the days inn in austin, tx. the place could use remodeling. we did not like the fact that the tiolet/shower area had no door for privacy.

Our bed was extremely hard, not soft at all and after riding a road bike all day on the MS150, they was extreme importance to us.

Nothing. The hotel was dirty and the staff did not know the area. My family never slept the whole night due to yelling, traffic, bugs and car alarms going off the whole night. The hotel is not family oriented it is around strip clubs and adult stores.

Clean, but that's all. Pool is nasty. Wi-fi has terrible signal. Some elecrical outlets not working. Will NOT visit this pit again.

I was totally disappointed with the fact that the hotel failed to mention that they were remodeling the weekend I planned to stay in Austin. Had I known that, I would have chosen another hotel. When I called the front desk to ask if they can stop the noise, they said they would, but never did!

I like nothing about this motel. Everything! Chopped paint on the walls, standing water at the room entrance, no batteries in remote, terrible service, extremely rundown! We got practically no sleep due to the air-conditioner sounding like a plane taking off; water from the AC unit was standing at the doorway. If we hadn't been so tired from our drive and it wasn't so late, we would have demanded our money back & searched for other accommodations. I had to keep apologizing to my wife all night about getting such a terrible room.

all around nice stay

The entertainment center and some of the staff even though they didn't help with my break-in. That they ignored my concerns that someone broke in my room and did nothing to help or compensate. The location although convenient off the highway, means loud. There are no "quiet" rooms. If you're lucky, it's a season where you need to use the fan or heater and it will drown it out. The internet did not work properly and went in and out or you had to sit at the desk with a little cord to get it. Although it was nice that it was free. I like the TV and having so many channels but that doesn't make up for my room having been entered (by I think a new maid) and them not taking me seriously. I was continuously put off over and over each time I asked if they checked the cameras yet. When I called after I left, they said they would call me back and update me and still didn't. Although the maid only stole my medications, I did need them and live abroad, so it wasn't like I could get them again. I had to wait til the end of my trip. Also, I did feel like they did not have a handle on their new staff even though they seem family oriented there. If they did, they'd have taken the customer seriously and not ignored her. The fact that is was loud, parking was bad and they did nothing to compensate or act like they even cared (including calling me back) means I will bad mouth, not recommend and never stay here again.

This hotel was a good choice for what we wanted. Basically a place to sleep. It was close the interstate and downtown. We didn't use any amenities, other than the breakfast area, so cannot comment on those.

The motel is very convenient to the University of Texas, but a long way from shopping and eats. The carpet was dirty, needed a good cleaning; parking was ample, but very tight squeezed; breakfast is terrible !! We choose this motel because it was reasonable and very close to UT. It only takes about 2 minutes to get to the campus and you do not have to get on major highways. The rooms were okay, but the carpet needed cleaning. Parking is a little tight, but you can manage. Cafe on premises caters mostly to students and the music was too loud, but the food was pretty good.
