I hate to say staff is not ready to listen to your complaints and management was very rude to my wife,all we were telling them about the ROACHES in the rooms and the dirty sheets with hair when we checked in wonder how Days Inn have become dumps( out dated room ).Never will go back sorry.

My experience was terrible. First theyn put us in a smoking room (not what I requested)and there were questionable characters walking around the hotel. Then they put us in a room that had no working lamps, all the drains were clogged, so when we showered the tub would fill up. The bed linens had cigarette holes in them.

It was close to the places I wanted to visit. Took over 30 minutes to get the TV working, the toilet chain kept coming out. The bathroom floor was quite dirty, It took 20 minutes to be able to turn on the TV and another 20 minutes to get the volume up. The water chain of the toilet kept coming off every time we used it. The morning service kept coming up after asking them to wait since we were not ready.

toilet didnt flush unless you held down the handle, water in the shower fluctuated hot and cold, carpet was dirty, vending and ice machines did not work or were empty, air was not working properly and tv remote was inoperable.

We went to Universal, the next morning at 9:15 am a housekeeper knocked and keyed into our room for no reason. Other than that, everything was good.

The carpet was dirty and smelly and the towels were dingy and hard. The presentation of this hotel was not what it really was in person. I was very disappointed.

All I can say is, you truly get what you pay for with the quality of the hotel. The staff was quite courteous and helpful though when my daughter had a bout of food poisoning and got ill. They made arrangements for us to have a car take us back to the airport on our day of departure which was very helpful. The accomodations were quite modest, to say the least. The maintenance of the facility was a little lacking, there was mildew in the bathroom above the mirror, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeled and bubbled, and the counter was broken so that things rolled off if left unattended. We didn't use the pool, so I cannot comment on that. It is quite close to Universal, we walked to the parks both days we went with little difficulty. The in room safe didn't have a key with it, rendering it useless. The wireless internet worked fabulously well.

It was good for the price, convienent to everywhere I wanted to go or get to but to be considered a resort they need a major upgrade. The ceilings are dusty, paint is chipping, and the carpets don't seem to have been shampood or deodorized in a while. However I am the type that would spend less on an okay hotel and more on my activites as I don't spend lots of time in my room anyway.

The hotel is very well located, so if you are going to Orlando just for the fun of the parks. It's a nice and quiet hotel. And the pool is nice for a relax with the children.

If you are traveling to Universal/ Islands of Adventure and can bring your own sheets and pillows this is the perfect spot to stay on a budget. For under $40 you are less than a mile from the main gates to both these parks. Just make sure you plan accordingly if you don't want to take a taxi because the advertised free shuttles only occur once in the morning and once at night. The location is really all that you are getting from this place. If you go bring your flip flops for your room because the floor is terrible.

First and foremost, if you did what I did read the review AFTER you made your purchase, don't panic. It isn't that bad, it is suitable. My children and I stayed for 9 nights. The weather was beautiful, no issues other than at the room. First two nights, we had a heck of time getting into the room. The room key did not work. In that room, had trouble with flushing the toilet. They did resolve that immediately. After going to the desk with the key issue, they did accommodate and give me the room next door (thrilled I didn't have to move my stuff and 2 kids very far). Room key worked fine, there after :) Although toilet flushing had issues 2x where we needed service. The sheets and bedding were clean (no bed bugs like in previous remarks). Itty bitty ants near the bathroom sink. I didn't panic because I camp outdoors, and that stuff doesn't bother me as long they stayed there. I have stayed in upper class hotel (thru work only). This does the job. I would think twice about returning back to the hotel. If you already locked yourself into going, do not panic. You will survive and enjoy yourself. You aren't there to enjoy the hotel as much as the location in Orlando. Hint: do not buy things from the store if you do not have to. The 7-11 is next door, and everything is 1/2 price there. Qt of milk at the hotel $4, same bottle at 7-11 $1.75. Same applies for the beer :) Pool was very nice and the bathroom in the lobby works great :) Best wishes! My kids and I had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the pool! Housekeeping did minimal, but did show up daily.

We needed a place to stay to be close to Universal Studios and yet not to far from the airport for an early morning flight. We got our wake up call at 4:30, and found that we could not turn on the shower! I called the front dest and was told we could change rooms. Like I want to change rooms at 4:30 AM when it is 40 degrees outside! We had to walk clear around the building to another room just to shower. The front desk staff could have cared less about the inconvienence! No attempt was made to address the problems. I would NOT stay at this hotel again. The great location and low rate was NOT worth the aggevation and inconvienance.BE WARNED!

FIrst night was ok. But the next night we returned they did not clean our hotel room. Our room was rite next door to the restraunt that nobody told us turned into a club at night so all you heard was bass music until 3am. Then all the club goers decided to hang in the hotel parking lot and be loud until 5am.

The hotel was the worst part of the vacation. If I was the online company, I would remove it from your list. The hotel was filthy and the room had crawly things everywhere. We cancelled and booked around the corner to Holiday Inn a much better hotel.
