The Days Inn is located just north of historic downtown Ukiah. Downtown Ukiah is known for its artsy flair with merchandise that is truly unique and in some cases, one of a kind from local artists. Downtown Ukiah is also host to many events including a weekly Farmers Market, Fabulous Flashback Car Show in September, and the Taste of Downtown featuring local restaurants and wineries in June. Downtown is also home to Ukiah Brewing Company & Restaurant which was the first certified organic brew pub in the United States. One block north of the Days Inn is the Redwood Empire Fairgrounds which hosts the annual fair in August in addition to with many other events.

Area attractions and activities within a short drive of Ukiah include over 40 wineries, 2 casinos, fishing at Lake Mendocino and the City of Ten Thousand Buddha. The Mendocino Coast and spectacular redwood forests are within a one hour drive from Ukiah.

The staff was friendly. Bed was too hard and very uncomfortable.

Drive farther down the road and get a different room. Cheap, and that explains the mattress and the smell. We were in route to Fort Bragg, however we got to Ukiah at 1am and thought it would be better to stay and get some rest! I slept maybe 2 hours, due to the rock hard bed with a plastic cover.

Very cold,heat on #8, one side blows cold air/the other min heat. Nasty plastic bed sheets. Felt like I was two years old. Yuk!

I stayed only one night on a trip to another destination. Staff, room, pool, and location were fine. The only problem was I had a downstairs room and it was too easy to hear people walking around on the floor above. Ask for a 2nd floor room if this is an issue.

The rooms were in need of a major make over. Shoddy tile job in bathroom and patched together tile job. Front desk clerk/owner was not friendly. The continental breakfast was set up really nice

It had a comfortable bed. I was too tired to really evaluate it that thoroughly. The pictures looked different on line than at the hotel. The hotel seemed to be in a central location, but looked of poor quality for a Days Inn. The room smelt funny, and was not quite, or very friendly for sleeping. The room was small. But, it did seem as though they were trying to fix up the outside.
