Great for a budget stay - rooms were on the small side, and the decor was a bit outdated, but it was very clean and comfy. The attached Country Music Bar was a bit noisy, and the crowd looked a little rough, but we were in the back building and didn't have any problems. Overall, the location was convenient and the room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again, it was a great budget-friendly overnight stay!

The breakfast was good. Cobwebs on top of the curtains, bathtub not clean, inattentive staff, bathroom plug not working. It was probably one of the worst I have stayed in.

What a helpful customer service staff at the days inn! They knew directions all over the rochester area. They were fast on check in & check out. They have one of the coolest bars in western NY called the roost country showcase. It was so fun watching live music, going to bed in a clean and safe place. Then you wake up and you are treated with a large hot breakfast that is free with your stay! On check out we noticed the weather was so bad 2ft of snow overnight, the friendly staff at the days in even brushed our car off and offered to start it up while we got arranged to leave. This is the best place to stay in rochester, and we recommend our friends and family to stay anytime!

I stayed there for a night- friendly check-in service. The room was very clean and nice. No problems other than the 2:00 a.m. people stumbling out of the saloon..

Friendly staff, clean room, great shower. The room was extremely tiny. Overall, my experience was fine. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. My room was a bit of a trek, and faced a gas station. For a hotel that seemed to have very few people in it, the placement of my room seemed a bit odd. Overall, however, the facilities were clean, the shower was wonderful - warm water with a lot of water pressure. I would definitely stay here again.

Great value for the price and it includes breakfast with sausage, eggs, and waffles as well as other continental offerings. The room was comfortable for one or two nights and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant attached to the hotel offers a country theme . Great burgers, wraps etc. They were even giving line dance lessons the night we were there.

The room was not overly impressive and I had reservations about the bathroom, but the bed sheets appeared to be clean and we were comfortable. There were plenty of towels, but some appeared to be on the stained or dirty side. There were plenty of places to eat within easy travel distance. The staff was very pleasant and we had no problem with our check in. Overall, we didn't spend a lot of time in our room and it worked for us to sleep in. We were satisfied and the price was right.

Safe, clean and a good breakfast. Breakfast area too small. Nice employees and clean and efficient.

This hotel provides a decent value in the Rochester area, although it is situated in a high traffic area with no safe walking paths. It is OK if you need a cheap, clean place to stay, but you are better off skipping the free breakfast. It's offered in the bar, which is barely sanitized from the night before. The bar area is dark, the floors are sticky, and the general atmosphere is depressing. You can't see if what you are eating is even fresh. They should think about having it in another room - any room - other than the bar.

This hotel is being updated. The first room we were assigned was tiny, dirty and the air conditioner was right up against the side of the bed at bed height, leaving no choice but to turn it off for the night or have it blowing directly on you. They would have been better off romoving the desk and chair to allow more room to get the bed away from the unit. The bathroom was moldy and the counter that covers the toilet tank was gone leaving only the rusty hinge. When using the air it smelled very bad. After speaking to the front desk they moved us to a room that had already been renovated. Although this took away the convenience of being right next to the room our companion was in, It was much bigger, allowing room to have the air conditioner away from the bed. It also had a desk and chair, for which there was plenty of room. It was cleaner and the bathroom was much nicer. The breakfast was fine, the fitness room had one working bike and several other machines that were broken. After the updates are all finished this will probably be an acceptable place for short tem stays. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Absolutely nothing. Just about everything. When we arrived the entrance was blocked by construction and we had difficulty entering. The keys didn't work on the entrance to our building and two employees walked by us, saw we were having trouble and offered no assistance. The rooms and hall ways were dirty, the cot when it finally arrived was dirty and stained. The TV didn't get the HBO we were promised. The air conditioning was faulty. It would run for ten min. The turn off and had to be restarted manually every half hour. And when I told the desk clerk on our check out the next morning her response was I'll let the manager know about the broken items. This was without a doubt the worst hotel stay I ever had in my life.

I STAYED WITH MY WIFE & KIDS and WOW WE HAD AN EXCELLENT STAY. THE STAFF ARE EXTREMELY HELPFUL. IT WAS A VERY BUSY TIME AND THE HOTEL WAS FULL BUT THE STAFF KEPT THE BREAKFAST ITEMS STOCKED AND HOT. THEY HAVE SO MANY ITEAMS IN BREAKFAST, WOW WHAT A BREAKFAST. IT IS EASY TO REACH OFF 390 and ALSO EASY TO REACH 90. THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL WAS GREAT. WHITIN A SHORT DRIVE ARE LOTS OF RESTAURANTS and SHOPPING MALLS. PRETTY CLEAN ROOM and COMFY BED / MICROWAVE & FRIDGE IN ROOM. THIS HOTEL IS A GREAT VALUE FOR THE PRICE. ALL OVER SERVICE OUTSTANDING ! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE VISITING ROCHESTER. ALL IN ALL VERY WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

The room was very dated, and the bathroom and carpets could have used some detail. Overall, the staff tried hard to make up for these shortcomings. I think if you want a basic room and don't care about smoke filled rooms, this will suffice. If you want to be comfortable, you may want to spend a few more dollars and get a better experience.

Nothing. Spiders, dirty. The room was that smell musty, spiders running around in bathroom; my son opened his hockey bag to find them in there! Terrible!

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Incredibly understaffed at the front desk (the only hotel I have EVER stayed at where you could NOT get someone to answer the phone there) The hotel was very poorly upkept - unclean rooms, no sheets on the bed, bathroom faucet totally non-functional, drain clogged in tub, window loose in the frame. Horrible hotel - I would recommend that anyone reading this review NOT EVEN CONSIDER staying here!!!!

We had a 6:30 flight and needed a place close to sleep. I would never stay at this place again. Blow dryer didn't even reach the bathroom. Bed was a brick and room was either to hot or to cool.

It was close to destination. Dirty, stinky, sticky, broken. This was a dive of a hotel. Can't believe Day's Inn would allow this franchise. Toilet paper holder was broken off wall, bathroom floor was very sticky, and room stunk; everything in the room felt "sticky". Old kitchen sink with sprayer hole open in common counter area of room. Toilet rocked on the floor. Nothing good about the room other than the beds were moderately comfortable.

I would not reccommend that anyone even consider staying here. The customer service was terrible (only one person was running the front desk at a snail's pace making for several extremely aggrevated hotel guests) Also, I called the lobby repeatedly trying to get ahold of someone at the front desk to address some repair issues in my room and there was no answer. I have never stayed in a hotel where the front desk does not answer the phone. So, I was repeatedly forced to leave voice messages with no return calls. The room itself was unclean and in great disrepair (clogged drain, non-working sink, loose glass in window, television problems and no sheets on the bed)

The free breakfast, but the dining room was ugly as anything. The beds, the size of the room, the lack of towels and their quality, the smell of the room,. I am so disappointed with this room and the hotel. It is a souped up version of a mom and pop hotel in the 60's. There is nothing they can do to make it a "real worthy" days inn. The beds were terrible; the heating unit was on the wall, it was either too hot or too cold! And very loud. It was the worst night sleep my wife and I had had in a long time, and we have spent many a nights in hotels let alone a day's inn. Save yourself the embarrassment and take this hotel off your sight, it was a very costly experience for us.

This is the worse hotel I have been to. The smell when you walk in the door is horrible and the room is not any better! You are better off sleeping in your car!
