Date of Stay:
February, 2009
We stayed from feb.4th to the 9th, we had a very pleasant time. One outside door would not lock and we brought it to the attention of the manager, and it was repaired within hours. Hotel staff went out of their way to help us find restaurants and points of interest.

Nothing. Bad smells (cigarette smoke) in the hallways. It was in a poor section of town. My car was keyed in their parking lot. It was over 45 minutes from the funeral I was attending.

I booked this room through my TripRewards for its proximity to our motorcycle tour route. First appearances is decent with interior rooms. However, upon check-in, I was asked for a photo ID so the desk clerk could make a copy! Desk clerk said it was required for the police! I balked at this and the clerk just viewed my ID. Had it not been so late in the day of arrival, having plans to meet up with family in a short while, we would have left right then & found other accomodations further along the route.

Several places to eat close. The outside doors to the buildings were not locked. It was very loud. The hotel was clean and semi comfortable. Did not use pool facility. Outside doors did not lock. People were very loud. Did not feel very safe here. Power was out for part of building.

Ants all over the counter in kitchen, around swimming pool and in the pool. Ice maker broken on 2nd floor. Run down and not taken care of.

Was able to move to a bigger room & staff were understanding. The single bed - rooms were too small. The establishment was good and the staff were friendly.

First, they accidentally booked me into an occupied room. No problem- they re-assigned me to an unoccupied room. The lobby smelled old and dirty. Halls smelled like cigarette smoke & poorly lit. My wife thought it smelled like a nursing home. The room was large and fairly clean, and didn't smell. At 12:30am, people were trying to get into our room. I suspect they were booked into our room by mistake. Then at 2:30am, we awoke to the sound of a dustbuster vacuum just outside our door. Thin walls-we could hear our neighbors unzipping suitcases in the middle of the night.

Staff were friendly and accommodating location is not desirable and did not feel safe in nearby areas I recommend this hotel ONLY if this is your last resort as it was for me.

The pool was heated. Surrounding area. It was close to the highway so perfect for driving around town to spring training baseball games. There is a coffee shop, diner, and fast food nearby but the street is very busy so it's a little hard to get to them. The hotel doesn't have an elevator so confirm that the type of room you want is accessible if you can't get everyone in your party upstairs.

Easy access to I17. Too close to I17, Smell of cigarette, No security, Next to Apt Complex scary. The room stunk of stale odor, there was no refrigerator as advertised, the room walls were thin so you could hear the people talking next door, there was no internet service so not a good stay for business travelers, there was no security on premises, overall this hotel sucked. Not recommended to anybody. It should not have ever been rated. It's a dump.

With sleep the main objective, it was tough because the a/c room unit kept recycling on/off. I won't stay at this day's inn or probably any again. It was a shabby motel, like a motel 6, but not well maintained, looked a little beat up, not so clean. The security card entry into the complex was balky. The freeway noise was welcome white noise, compared to the clattering on/off room unit a/c, which I finally turned off to get some sleep. Thankfully, no odors! Next time, I'll just pay more money because it was just plain depressing.

Easy access to freeway. This place was a smelly pit. Don't go here. The star ratings are much skewed.

Very close to the concert we were attending and right off the freeway. In a kind ofbad part of town. It was clean and the help was friendly and it was located in a good spot for what we were there to do.

Nothing. ThatI had to fix the toilet the first night and the bathroom was smaller then a shoe box. The toilet did not work and people were smoking in the next room in a no smoking room.

I could walk out my patio window to my parked car next to it. I selected "Phoenix West", this hotel is right downtown Phoenix. It needs to be updated. Refer door did not fit properly, I was there in "winter" months and air conditioner on high did not chase me out.

Staff nice, beds comfy noisy neighbors, & applicances. No breakfast Was promised a breakfast in reservation. All they served was bread and butter and coffee. My refrigerator was very noisy and I was stuck outside of the ice making machine. The neighbors was a car over hauling place, so it was noisy also. The staff however was very nice
