Staff was unfriendly. The hotel was not clean and falling apart.

Room was dated. Fixtures falling apart. Bathroom caulking a mess. Fan falling out. Very old hotel and feeling its oats. Fairly clean but not well maintained. Can hear conversations from other rooms out of the bathroom vent hole (the cover was missing and the fan was hanging out). Room smelled of stale smoke.

I stayed here for the Spring training with my wife and son, which was the biggest mistake of my entire trip. First we called for the shuttle and they stated that we didnt have a reservation so they could not give us a shuttle, so we had to pay for a taxi to the hotel. After getting to the hotel, we showed our reservation paperwork and they found us in the system and finally checked us in. So I brought it to their attention about the cab ride and they said "Oh we are sorry about that sir, we have new staff in training and they must have made a mistake." Moving on to the rooms, had roaches floating in my toilet, now it was just ticking me off, the beds we ok as far as comfort goes if I didnt find hair on my sheets. Last but not least noisy neighbors for 3 nights in a row, drinking and being disrespectful to others. Asked for a rooms switch but that didnt seem to work since they said they dont have any non smoking rooms left, I was more than welcome to stay in the same room or leave and find something that I am happy with. Dont forget the horrible breakfast they have for charging 119 a night and the weak wireless signal. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DO NOT STAY HERE !!!

Good location to ASU. You can just hop the metro rail across the street and get anywhere from this location, the transportation system is terrific. We were there for a few days just to look at the ASU campus and surrounding communities so for the price, this hotel did the job. Nice friendly staff, just an average continental breakfast but for the reasons we were there, it worked out well.

Not a thing not safe or clean. Everything. I am disappointed. I spent money on a room I did not even use, it was that bad. This hotel is in an area that felt so unsafe and the bolt on the door did not work. It had been broke off or missing. Things did not work plumbing lights fridge. We left and never even stayed the night.

This hotel is in an excellent location; it is close to shops, ASU, and dinning. The continental breakfast was good. The rooms were clean and provided everything you needed (TV, hairdryer, microwave, mini fridge). The decor was old but it was clean and I have no complaints. I would stay here again and would recommend to friends/family.

The Days Inn Tempe/asu motel was clean and comfortable. I especially liked the comfort of the pillows. Our room was easily accessable from the parking area. there was plenty of room and seating to accomodate our guests whom we came to visit. We were surprised how close we were to ASU where we attended graduation. A 5-7 minute drive and we were on campus. Our room was cleaned everyday, clean towels, soap bars and coffee packets were provided. Each morning there were muffins and coffee provided in the lobby. Maid service was awsome and would happily come back at a later time if we were busy. We were glad to be able to use the blow dryer and the iron with ironing board provided in our room. We had a hard time hearing the sound on the TV and found we could not turn the volume up past a certain point to hear better. we could understand the need for volume control as a meams to not disturb the people in rooms next to us. But, we could hardly hear the TV sound in our own room. Bath tub would not hold water to take a bath but showers were fine. For the most part we were very happy with our stay and would stay there again.

The Lobby was clean, decent breakfast. Out dated moldy bathroom, hard beds, cracked walls. Hotel is out dated. Bathroom had moldy caulking around tub. Gaps between sheetrock and tile baseboards, and painted on light switches. Beds were very hard. Breakfast was nice selection for a continental breakfast. Staff was friendly. Pool was nice, but the hot tub was too hot to sit in.

Recently stayed three nights, have stayed there before two or three times in past three years, and it's always been a great value. Clean, low rates, free wireless/breakfast/airport shuttle/parking, with fridge and microwave in the room, near campus, on light rail line, walking distance to two grocery stores. The staff was helpful and pleasant, and there's a great mexican take-out place across the street. I'm never reluctant to indulge myself with more luxurious lodgings, but I know a great deal when I see it, and whenever I'm in Phoenix, you'll find me at the Days Inn Tempe.

The room was ok, tv remote didn't work well. Nice and close to Arizona State University. It is place to sleep one or two nights, not somewhere you would want to stay for an extended period. Had free wifi.

Great location, we could close the door and not hear anything. The carpet was dirty and if we walked barefoot, our feet got dirty. We had a nice stay at this hotel. Pool was a little smaller than we expected, but it was always clean. Could use some towels at the pool, but we were able to get more so it wasn't a big deal. Great location, not far from anything we needed.

This hotel is located next to the light rail station. This is very convenient if you do not bothered by noise. The light rail will directly go to the Phoenix down town and the convention center. When I arrive at night I felt a little spooky probably because of open space around the station but in the morning this place was bright and I felt safe. The big swimming pool and the Jacuzzi were steaming in the morning light. I did not try because they open at 8am which is after I have to leave. The morning staffs were efficient and helpful. The room was equipped with a fridge and a micro wave oven but not a safe. They provided Free internet and a free breakfast, which is basic Day's Inn type. I felt damp in such a dry area, probably because the carpet was so old. I like to use hot tab bath but the plug did not work. I tried another room but again plug did not work either. The plugs do not work in other Day's Inn as well. I am afraid many plugs must be replaced for Day's Inn. Also the plug was not cleaned properly. So if you want to stay in Day's Inn and if you like hot bath, it is better to check the bath tab plug. I paid less than half of GSA rate. For this rate I do not have much complain.

Generally speaking my experience was alright, The staff is congenial and helpful, the bathrooms are dated and the decor is standard, and probably the reason for the competitive price. The pool was clean and comfortable, the lounge chairs are old, and there are no pool towells, but the front desk advised to use room towels in leiu of , and said to call if extra towells were necessary.

It was very convenient. Nothing really worked correctly, Wi-Fi, TV, shower, A/C. This was a pretty bad experience. The room was not terribly clean. The bathroom had small bugs on the floor, the ceiling had mold spots, the A/C did not really work, the hot water was very finicky, the TV did not really work, and the Wi-Fi never worked and when I brought it to the attention of the staff they just blew me off. I had to ask for soap twice over the four days. Beyond that it was pretty noisy. The staff did not enforce the 10 p.m. rule for the pool and did nothing about the trash left over from a party at the pool. It was all around a bad experience.

Between the Light Rail at the front of the property and the train at the back, it was hard to get a good night's sleep. The staff was very nice. The rooms were very shabby and needs some renovation. The breakfast was adequate. Stay here if you're on a tight budget, but pay a little more and it'll be worth it.

Room was very nice, about average size, but very clean and comfortable. Location was great for me, within walking distance of Arizona State University. The pool was excelent. No hotel dining that I saw, but the room keys had the number of a nearby Pizza Hut.

For the price of this room I was pleasantly surprised at the accommodations. The wireless internet was a must for me and the room was comfortable, clean and large (for a standard room). The fridge and microwave were a nice convenience, although I did not need them this time around. I did not take advantage of the complementary breakfast, so I can?t comment. The only two things that weren?t perfect was the lack of In-Room-Movies, although they did have satellite with premium channels. And then the only ice machine was located way down by the pool, but with a fairly large fridge in the room, this should not be a huge concern. This is the best accommodations I?ve ever had FOR THIS PRICE.

The price was great but the lower level near the office was quite noisy.

This hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The hotel airport shuttle took over an hour to pick us up. The airport shuttle for the hotel took over an hour to pick us up. The hotel was a bit run down but the room was clean and staff was friendly.
