Perfect for a short stayWe stayed in this hotel for one night. It's in the perfect location for sighseeing, shopping and exploring Dublin. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly and helpful and overall was very good value. There were only 2 downsides - we were woken early (6am) by someone either playing a flute or playing a CD of a flute outside for about 2 hours - very irritating! Our other other complaint was that it was very difficult to get the shower to a comfortable temperature.

Convenient location. Small rooms and blow dryer did not work. Staff was ok and helpful when asked but did not go out of their way to assist. Room was very small but clean.

Rooms are small but adequate. Talbot Street is a busy road, rear rooms would surely be more peaceful than the front rooms!

Very convenient and cheap, but the rooms are tiny (you might have to leave the ensuite to use a towel), and, when I was there, there was no hot water, and the breakfast room was still closed 15 minutes after it should have opened.

If you're looking for a clean but modest place to stay, it's great! Just a few blocks from the main thoroughfare, O'Connell street and about a 10 minute walk to the River Liffey. Several nice pubs and other restaurants / shopping right out the door!

Nice hotel for the price. Very small room but that is to be expected in Europe in a small hotel. Wonderful staff who went out of their way to return my lost credit card. I would not recommend room number 118 as it is right off the stairs and elevators. The doors bang a bit. There is no Air conditioning so if it is warm enough to keep the window open it will get loud either with the crowds on the street on one side or the seagulls on the other,

ReviewFriendly staff, basic accommodation but clean well located.

Location and helpful staff. A bit worn and drab with very small rooms. A small room in a small hotel in a great location. The staff is friendly and obliging and we would certainly stay again. Would like to see some work on brightening the place up a little, but have no complaints about cleanliness and attention to detail of same.

Guests staying here should be aware that Talbot Street is a busy road, well into the night. If you are looking for somewhere quiet, ask for a back bedroom or stay someplace else. Otherwise, this is a clean and friendly hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

This hotel has an excellent location just a short walking distance to O'Connell Street. The staff was great, and the morning desk clerk went out of his way to make sure a room was cleaned for me so I could check in early. The cleaning service was great, and the room had the cleanest hotel bathroom I've ever seen. The room itself is rather small especially for a twin and a front room does get noise from the street. However, the price, location and hotel staff would bring me back to this hotel.

basic city hotelAlthought I have titled this basic hotel, this was a small but pleasantly clean hotel, with friendly helpful staff. We cannot comment on the food as we didnt eat there. This hotel is well situated in the city leaving you central to all the amenites.

Location was in Central Dublin. It was very noisy, the room was very cramped. The staff were considerate and relatively friendly. The location was in central Dublin, which was nice, but was located on a very loud street, near many pubs, which caused it to be very loud, especially late at night.

I was abit dubious staying here, but was really pleasantly surprised! The room was quiet, clean and had everything you needed ie tea/coffe, safe, radio,tv. It was abit small, but fine for the one night we were there. Also location is suberb!

Small room. No car park. Not the best part of town but would do.

It's true, our room (streetside) was darn loud. But having read the reviews before the trip, we brought ear plugs. This helped. The dilemma comes when you need to open the window to cool the room down. You will hear drunken, joyous yelling, cars, clicking high heels...all night. But, rooms have been remodeled. Very nice, clean. Small but very adequate for my friend and I who just went last minute to have a good time. Prime location (walk to Grafton Street, Temple Bar, Henry Street, River Liffey, Dublin Spire, O'Connel Street, Trinity College, etc). Fantastic location. Best tip for this hotel: avoid the breakfast! Repeat: avoid the breakfast!

RecomendedI would definately recommend this hotel and would consider staying there again. The staff were very polite and helpful. The central location for us was brilliant. It's located approximately 2 mins walk from O'Connell St. (which was excellent for us as we travelled by bus from Galway and were dropped there). Perfect for shopping too.We were actually in the city for a concert in the O2 and we walked from the hotel, which took around 15-20 minutes, perfect if the weather is fine. The hotel was basic, clean & tidy and had an ideal central location in Dublin city.

AWESOME location! Staff is great, very helpful. The rooms (at least mine) are extremely small. The bed took up the entire room; I had to crawl across it to go to the bathroom. Breakfast overpriced. The rooms (at least mine) are extremely small. The bed took up the entire room; I had to crawl across it to go to the bathroom. Breakfast overpriced! Go to a local pub or bakery for a better deal on breakfast. Location is great! A 2-minute walk and your in the heart of this lovely city.

We were expecting a tiny room from the reviews I had read of this hotel. Much to our surprise, the room was quite large for an overseas hotel (family room). It was very clean, and the location was great for sightseeing, shopping, etc. The people were very friendly, also.
