Given the low price ($70 plus tax), we got exactly what we expected with a few niceties thrown in - WIFI and a small buffet breakfast. We needed a cheap, clean, convenient place to stay overnight, and that's just what we got.

The staff was friendly and helpful, they really made the stay pleasant. Nothing, the hotel was exactly what I was hoping for. Great staff, great location, very convenient to area colleges and sporting events.

The manager was extremely friendly and helpful in getting us our rooms for early checkin (funeral). Rooms were very clean, quiet and was equipped with hair dryer and iron/board. The only problem with the second floor room was that the hot water in the shower took FOREVER to get warm - had to run for 5-7 minutes before you got hot water. Located right next to a Dunkin Donuts and several small restraurants, it made it convenient for a quick cup of coffee or lunch. For the price, I would definitely recommend this hotel!!!! Other

Pillows were a little too hard, sort of spartan furnishings, but place was clean and staff was courteous.

the days inn albany was was clean and a good value . the staff were competent and check in and check out was on problem. the only down side was for 3 people yet the rooms towels and wash clothes was stocked for 2.

The comfort of the bed, cleanliness of the room, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The place is clean, comfortable and professionally run. The continental breakfast bar is well-stocked and has a good selection. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed only one night at this Days Inn. My room was clean, however there was a slight damp/musty smell in it. I bought an air-freshener to remedy that. It was quiet and the complimentary breakfast was pretty nice; cereal, toast, bagels, coffee, juice. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We had a problem with one light in our room and the desk clerk came with me immediatly and fixed it, (turns out the cord was unplugged - the outlet behind the bed). The location was easy to find and there were lots of eateries and shopping nearby.

Our room was relatively close to the road on which the hotel is located, and traffic and other outside noise resulted in some difficulty in falling and staying asleep. I presume this could be mitigated by staying a room on the opposite end of the building, furthest from the street, assuming that one is avialble. In virtually every other respect, however, this lodging perfectly suited our needs, i.e., as an economical place to sleep and grab a quick, decent breakfast. We didn't avail ourselves of, or for that matter have any need for, other amenities, and therefore appreciate not having the cost of such features built into the room rate. Our overnight stay in Albany was immediately followed by driving to Saratoga Springs, where hotel rates were vastly inflated due to it being horse racing season at the Saratoga track. Spending the previous night at the Days Inn in Albany instead of a pricey place in Saratoga Springs therefore saved us a substantial amount of money.

This is a great place to stay if you do not need dining options within the hotel. The continental breakfast was adequate but there is a Dunkin Donuts next door and many other places to eat along the avenue. The staff was very friendly and accomodating....I will go back there!

Lots of parking. Friendly staff. No pool, no hot tub, fitness rm only had 3 machines. Clean, but old. Fine for an over night, quick stay but not much to do there-no pool, no lounge +/or restaurant. Did have a cold breakfast - hot one would have been nicer.

The room was clean but not large, reasonably quiet. The web-based reservation was for 3 adults, and there as one bed. No cot. No pull-out. Only two sets of towels. Breakfast included cold cereal, instant oatmeal, bagels, (toastable), coffee, tea, juice, green bananas, and under-ripe apples. Accessing internet required borrowing a cable from the front desk - which they were happy to let us keep overnight.

Wifi only worked in the back of the dining room. Breakfast was all carbs. Checkout day i checked out early, then came back to pick up something- staff would not allow me to use their phone for a local call....

Towels felt like sandpaper. It was basically a cheap hotel.

Days Inn was comfortable and provided all items necessary for a night's stay. Location was in center of town but not withing walking distance of anything that interested me. People were friendly, but view was not exciting.

It was clean, friendly and in an good location. The hotel was clean, the room was in good condition, very clean and stocked with enough towels, bath supplies, coffee maker with coffee.

The staff was friendly. The hallways were horrible. There was mold growing in a drawer of a night stand and the lid to the ice container had mold growing in it. I had to wash out the bucket myself before using it. Not a place that I would recommend.

Staff was very helpful. Outside plantings. Good place to stay for the money.

The staff was courtious and friendly There was a nice restaurant nearby (within walking distance) but it was not open for lunch It would have been nice to have a seating area instead of having to stay in bed to watch the tv It also would have been nice to have been given the option of tub or no tub - sure understand that not all rooms need tubs, but since the hotel had both types of rooms the offer would have been nice

The morning staff person (woman) was very pleasant. The evening staff, no soap, 1 towel, 1 wash cloth. Not comfortable, the blanket on the bed was ratty, felt like a salvation army reject, no heat, the staff person was rude when I tried to discuss it with him. It was all together a very unpleasant experience. I am 55 years old and I have traveled a lot, I have never had such a negative hotel experience. When I asked him if this hotel had a restaurant, he pointed to next door.

The Days Inn Albany SUNY is a perfectly nice, no-frills option in the Albany area. The hotel looks a little worn, but the room was large, clean and comfortable. While it lacks a kitchen, the complementary breakfast was surprisingly good. The location near the University is convenient to almost everything else. I'd stay there again without hesitation.
