The bar. The chirping smoke detector. This room kept me toasty even though it was about 20 degrees outside all night. There was a nice country singer in the bar. I recommend the chicken/avocado sandwich from the restaurant.

Room was nice. Communication kept locking me out of room. Over all nice rooms and good food.

The price. Noisy after 10:30pm. No complimentary breakfast even though competitors provide. Easy to find. Check in pleasant. Lobby nice. External access to rooms. Extremely noisy outside door on night I was there. Had to call front desk. Got quiet briefly and then noisy again. Other hotels in that range offer complimentary breakfast but this one did not. Only a $1 coupon at next door restaurant. Nothing special about this place.

Pool deck and furnishings are lovely. The spa didn't work. The above covers it. It was nice and quiet.

Conveniently located, knowledgeable staff. Heater was loud.

NA. Old and dirty. Old and dirty pretty well describes it.

Convenient location and clean. The wife says the room needed a trampoline. Oh, well. Just needed a place to sleep for the one night. Easy access from/to the freeway. The room was quiet even though it was next to the pool and faced the main road. Nothing about this place stood out, either good or bad, enough to make me remember it.
Date of Stay:

Nothing. Bugs in the room, dirty bathtub, and service.

Nothing. I've stay at hotels and this was one was total crap. Old, loud, bad staff, bad price, and should be a 1 star!

Close to major highway. Rundown. Unfortunately, we stayed in this hotel for 3 days. It was not a pleasant place to return to in the evening. The water in the shower ran hot and cold all during a shower. The toilet didn't work. The door looked like it had been broken into a time or two. The air conditioner was noisy. We weren't given new plastic cups when we needed them. The staff was neither welcoming nor pleasant.

Older hotel, showers didn't work adequately.

Location was pretty good. It's ok. Entertainment in the bar was pretty good and the bar has a nice patio area.

Nothing. The room stinked. Not the quality I expected.

Pool and pool area was very attractive. No Breakfast (although discount coupons for the restaurant were provided). The Best Western Mesilla Valley Inn was clean, comfortable and convenient for our stay in Las Cruces. It met all of our expectations. Rooms were clean, check-in was quick, and all of the available facilities were of good quality.

The pool and hot tub area was very nice; clean, tastefully decorated with gazebos and outdoor furnishings that really invited you to sit and enjoy it. Lack of maid service! The first thing we noted upon arrival at our room was that the door was extremely difficult to open. The 2nd time we opened the door, the faceplate on the door jam came off [maintenance notified, but never came to repair]. We checked in on Sunday and checked out on Wednesday, during that period of time we never once had a maid come to clean the room, make the bed, or leave fresh towels [even though I called the desk as well as personally made this request of 3 different maids at various times. I will not stay there again ever. No matter where I go I expect people to do their job, at the very least to a mediocre degree, and I certainly didn't see that in any of the staff with the exception of the front desk clerk (a lovely young man). When I tried to complain to management, I was told that she was not on the property and would not be available to speak with me before I left; I guess she can read my comments along with all her potential guests!

It was convenient. The room had bugs and it was only cleaned once when we were there.

Desk clerk went out of his way to make a reservation for me at another convenient location when I needed to stay longer, but they were booked. Very nicely appointed for the business traveler. Great staff. Very convenient location to the city and major highways.

Comfortable. Restaurant situation. The motel was good but appeared that it may not be receiving maintenance as will be required in the near future.

Good location, Not as clean as it could have been. Not bad, but also not good. Good location for my needs on this last trip. Not sure if I'll stay there again, but I will go back to the restaurant, that was nice.

Eddies restaurant had a great breakfast. Water in shower was not a consistent temperature. No bad for the price, but the shower did not have a consistent temperature. The doors were a little tricky to open too. Eddy's is a nice little restaurant if you are eating on the patio. I requested late checkout when leaving and the front desk clerk said they couldn't do it because they had too many people checking out - it seemed like he just didn't want to deal with it.
