Selected this hotel based on price and star rating - was rated higher than other similar-priced hotels in area. Exterior stairway had flaking paint; exterior accessway had flaking paint and lots of leaks from room air conditioners. Room had lots of paint and dust in the outside-wall corners. Bathroom had cracked tiles. Difficult to get to from eastbound interstate because access is on the westbound entrance ramp but there's no sign to tell you that. Towels were old. No restaurant on property or in immediate walking area. Breakfast pastries were stale but waffle maker was good.

I had a very good time, the hotel and everything was great. The hotel was covenient for places to eat and shop. I plan to visit again soon, and will be staying at the Days Inn in Statesville.

The room was very clean and everything worked, including the hairdryer and coffee maker. It would have been nice if the check-in person mentioned that ice is in the main front building, since there are several different buildings in this hotel. We arrived after 1:30 AM and were due at a nearby family reunion at noon the following day, and the manager was nice enough to let us stay in our air conditioned room 1/2 hour past check-out time. Anyone who is bothered by highway noise should request a room facing away from the highway in the building farthest from the highway.

Cleaning staff is very good for cleaning out your wallet, after leaving that morning, came back around 3 pm, I noticed cleaning service has been there already, so I just took my room card and left wallet by TV and went to the pool, after 10 minutes I went back to my room, as I approached I noticed my room door was open and a cleaning cart was outside. I knew what just happened, I went to the owner and about a hour later he finally asked her, she said ""I never touched it."" (By the way he said she was new and he never checked her references) Owner did NOTHING, so I packed up and checked out.

Had a little trouble getting the wireless internet to connect. I was only there for a quick overnight stay. It was a comfortable room for the price

Nothing to say just really disappointed. My brand new socks were dirty from just walking on the carpet for 10 minutes. The carpet inside the room was filthy. My brand new socks were dirty after only 10 minutes from walking around the room. Bathroom was not properly cleaned. There was hair in the tub when we arrived. This hotel needs serious renovations.

We Stayed on weekend night and where very pleased with our room. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff was very polite. We noticed alot of work being done on thee hotel and will come back to stay again.

Air worked. Everything dirty, staff and housekeeping. This was they worst place I have ever stayed. The room was dirty. the second day we came back to the room house keeping left the room dirtier than we did they took the trash out of the can and left it on the floor. They spilled potato chips all over the floor. Took the towels and did not leave any. When I went to the front desk they said that they would look into it. And gave me towels. They first day I noticed the water was dripping so I shut it off. Next day I went to get a glass of water it came out brown until it ran for a while. This place was and is a dump.

This hotel is right next to Interstate 40 so noise is a factor. Though the room had been recently painted, it left a lot to be desired. The blankets on the bed were frayed and had cigarette burn holes. The bathroom had been refurbished but wasn't finished.I didn't feel safe and was glad we were not given a room at the back of the second building, far away from the office. I will not stay at Days Inn again.

In room coffee, refrigerator and microwave. Room on the side facing busy road, a little noisy. We were pleased with the overall room. The continental breakfast had a very nice variety and selection of items.

Nice staff, free breakfast! The bathroom floor was sticky and the door was not properly hinged so a huge gap was letting in air and sound. Good for the price.

This hotel was not like the pictures. It was dirty and definately needs work. We also did not feel very safe. We kept checking out the window to make sure our car was still there. Better outside lighting would help.

Nice continental breakfast. Error in type of room I wanted, and I had to sleep 2 adults & 2 children in 1 bed! Staffs not willing to get me a room with 2 double beds! Overall the hotel was clean, but that is about all I can say. When I booked my room, I must have made an error and selected a queen bed rather than 2 double beds. So, when I arrived at the hotel, I tried to get a different room and I explained to the clerk that I had 2 adults & 2 children and we couldn't sleep in 1 bed. She would not accommodate me at all. Miserable nights sleep!

Good air conditioner. Run down. We were not given a king or double room even though we requested a double room. We were told that we could only have a queen room.
