Date of Stay:
July, 2009
I've stayed in several Days Inn locations previously, and this was the worst. The non-smoking room was spacious, but it wasn't the cleanest I've ever seen. The last day there were bugs on the floor. It was near Lambert Airport, which was good. It was also near the Metro light rail stop, but other than that, there's nothing positive to describe my stay.

The room was big. Was not told that the pool was closed before purchase. It was clean. The breakfast was not spectacular though. I traveled with 3 children and it was not specified online before i purchased the tickets that the pool was closed. Needless to say, there was not much for them to do.

My husband and I had a very nice stay at the Days Inn. It was clean and quiet with a lovely free breakfast each morning. It was close to resturants and town. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The staff are not happy with thier jobs and treat guests like dirt. The rooms are dirty and falling apart at the seams. Bondo and rubber cement all over the place patching it back together. This place needs serious help!

This hotel was disappointing from the start. The hotel is located right next to the highway, which made it really loud. Although my room was big, the place was dirty. My room was non-smoking, but there were ashes in the ashtray (and on the floor under the bed), and there was dirt in the nooks and crannies of the bathroom. I was there in the dead of winter, and the heater didn't quite heat up the room to a comfortable temperature (the heater is located by the window, so all the heat just escaped). Worst of all, a day or so after staying there, I had bug bites all over my body, so there may be a bed bug or other infestation happening at this location. I was originally placed on the first floor of a room facing the freeway, and facing the parking lot. I didn't feel this was safe, so I asked to be switched to the second floor, which the hotel staff did with no problem. The major downfall of that move was that there was no elevator.

Rooms smelled funny, towels were dingy and tub area was not totally clean. Location was easy to access but not a good quality room.

My husband and I were going to a STL Cards game on Sat and Sun. We needed to stay cheap, so we booked here to take the shuttle to the Metro and Metro to the stadium. It worked out ok - but the shuttle only runs until 11 pm and there is no golf at this hotel. Older hotel, not particularly well maintained, but clean enough not to worry about pests. Nothing glamorous.

I stayed there for a night and it was total mess. There were only tow towels in each room, room was filled with some odor and it was not cleaned for many days I guess.

I smoke and requested for upper floor but the manager gave us a first floor. I really liked that. None. The staff was very helpful and nice. The room was very big and clean. The only thing it was missing is a ice box in the room.

the rooms were dirty, had to a pay a deposit for an ironing board, in need of a renovation. the ""onsite"" 24 hrs restaurant was closed the entire time we were there.

The day Inn was not what thought they were. The bed was not as large as they said they were. The breakfast was bad, they had cereal like Rasin bran, and other bran flakes, not much for the children. There was not enough milk for the ceral, and we saw none to ask for more. The bathroom in our room leaked and we had water all over our bathroom floor. The only thing we did like about the motel was the location.

The rooms are extremely spacious! Finding the hotel is a little tricky. No complaints at all. This is an older, but well maintained hotel with the largest standard rate rooms I've ever seen. We were very glad to have stayed there. If I go back to the St. Louis area in the future, I'll plan to stay there again. Bravo!

We didn't arrive at our hotel until nighttime. It was very poorly lit, and our room was on the back side of the hotel which was dark and creepy. The rooms were old and the bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was fairly clean, but again, old. There are other hotels in the area for the same price, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

This Days Inn @ St Louis North was in a convenient location to Lambert Airport (10 min) for me to meet friend. It was difficult to access as it is located on an 'on ramp' to I-270 The entrance drive was thru a church parking lot. It was a left hand turn across on coming traffic and was hard to do in heavy traffic. If one were making the approach from the other direction, it would be a simple right hand turn, but as I was approaching from the interstate it was not easy. Once in the hotel parking lot and the hotel itself all was fine. The room was large and clean as was the bathroom and the building and grounds in general. The 'breakfast' was minimal. There were no other dining facilities. There were numerous restaurants very near the motel. I would stay there again. There is a pool but it was outside and closed due to the time of year.

Near airport. Local surroundings. Hotel was OK, provided a decent continental breakfast, but local surroundings gave a general unsafe feeling.

This is a old and not very updated hotel. It has a smell of filth as you walk in and it never goes away. Very hard to find the dirveway to pull in. The doors to the rooms do not open well and you need to lift up or down to get in. Continental breakfast was not a clean well kept area. I would stay in again.

Incredibly large rooms. Very nice pillows/mattress. Could not access Wi-Fi even though located right next to the router. Very convenient location, right off interstate. Very large rooms. Very comfortable mattress. Nice pillows - variable firmness. Clea. Not incredibly modern or fashionable in terms of furnishings and style. Breakfast basic but nothing fancy.Manager had maintenance reset it but still no dice. Charges $3.00+ per session for computer in lobby. Most hotels provide this for free. Overall - good convenient hotel for business travel or perhaps a family overnight. Not good for something special or romantic.

Days Inn is typically a decent hotel to stay at but I guess the location wasn't the best. It was by the highway in a busy road and across the highway were other hotels. However, you get what you paid for and the price was affordable so can't complain. It was a decent drive everywhere, pretty accessible because the highways were right in front.

Close to freeway. Not much information from clerk nor help.

I just wish the place was cleaner. The room, albeit big which was a boon, it needed someone to vacuum the carpeting better. Also, why so skimpy on the soap? My girlfriend and I had to share one small bar (typical motel size).
