The staff allowed us to check in early which was great! We were close to the interstate for easy access to the race track. This hotel seemed to have all that we needed for our trip. The price was excellent!! compared to the others I checked on. I would stay again! This was an older hotel so those of you who have to have the very best of everything, go pay 230 a night for a newer place.

I really enjoyed my stay at Days Inn Charlotte, I85, Exit 41. The staff is very friendly and has renovated the place. Conveniently located on highway. I was happy because I found it easy to get to UNCC and downtown! I would recommend this hotel to others!

hotel staff tried to accomodate but even though I had reserved 1st floor due to my physical handicaps, I had a 2nd floor room.A big car show/ flea market was in town and the hotel guest parking was woefully inadequate.

Rooms not cleaned first day. Late cleanings on rest. Noisy staff. The first day our room was not cleaned. Had to call for trash to be taken out and new towels. The other days it was well past 1 or 2 pm when i was cleaned. The staff was very noisy in the morning when going about to clean other rooms.

Both the hotel and the room had a strong odor of urine. I was not able to stay and immediately left the hotel. They would not give me my money back even though I was only in the room for about 2 or 3 minutes. Fortunately I found a room at another hotel not to far away but I paid twice for one night.

The hotel was quick to check in. Need more towels in room and blankets. The stay was ok for that type of hotel.

Except for there not being any tissues, the room was fine and the bed very comfortable. Easy access from I-85

Main lobby is undergoing extensive renovation so looks very unwelcoming. Rooms are very old and in need of updating. Poor soundproofing. I needed fresh towels. I had to take the towels myself to housekeeping where the dirty ones were counted prior to my recieving fresh towels from unfriendly housekeeping staff.

The staff was very friendly and took care of our needs promptly. Parking space was a little far from room. This was a nice hotel for the price. Me and my family had a wonderful time. The beds were very comfortable, I was surprised. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will be staying there again in the near future.

I enjoyed my stay at this Days Inn in Charlotte. The hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. In addition to the smiling faces, I was given popcorns and a can of soda by the front desk staff at check in. When I needed to check my emails and needed to print my e-ticket, I was able to use the lobby computer and printer. I was very happy with the recently renovated lobby, rooms and outside area. Free Continental Breakfast was a plus. I would definitely come back again and stay with this Days Inn.

Was not real happy with the cleanliness. A dead bug stayed in the bathroom for three days. The second day we did not receive towels, the third day no cups.

I paid extra to stay on the first floor and the only room that they would let me have was on the second floor.

Convenience to where we were going. Air conditioners didn't work, everything was dirty. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Fairly close to the Convention Center. Non-smoking smelled of smoke. Undergoing much needed renovations. I stayed with a small group and found it to be okay. Not spectacular by any means. They were working renovating the hotel which was desperately needed. The renovation seemed to be going very slow with a small local company and very amateurish, like cousin and his friends got some hammers and nails and found a few scraps of carpet on the side of the road and went to town. Hopefully it will look better when they finish. They were also painting the outside doors but very inconsistently. Some doors were completed while others had a few brush strokes of paint and others were not done at all yet. I would think start on the first floor, paint all the doors. Go to the second floor, paint all the doors. Pool was kept up fairly well and very clean. Although noise from the hotel next door was a bit loud from time to time. I had two non-smoking rooms and when I got there one of the rooms smelled of smoke. They changed us to another room fairly smoothly. Although one of the rooms looked like it had water damage around the bottom of the bathroom door frame and the door itself was a bit askew from the frame and didn't close very easily. Another thing-the room seemed a bit small compared to other hotel rooms I've stayed in. It would be fine for 1 or 2 people in a room but with 4 it was tight with very little room for luggage. Everything in the rooms worked fine and we didn't have any issues with service. I even found that I needed to print a couple of items from my computer and although they did not have a Business Center, they happily allowed me to print from their office printer. Overall, it was okay considering the price. I wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton so I guess I can't complain.

It was a place to sleep. It was very run down and the part of town it was in seemed somewhat unsafe.
